    "Come with me to Montauk," Percy said, half an offer and half an order.

    "What?" Jason asked.

    He had heard of Montauk before, of course; Percy had told him about the yearly trips he took there one night when they were both patrolling the Argo. Even so, the word sounded foreign to him. Although the dust from the war had cleared, that did not mean Jason had time for leisure.

    "Montauk," Percy repeated. He crossed his arms, though his friendly smile still danced across his lips. "For a week. With me, my mom, Paul, and Estelle. We could swim in the ocean, and get ice cream on the boardwalk, and watch movies late at night. The cabin we got this year is nicer than the usual one—no broken AC or spiders in the sheets, promise. It'll be fun!"

    "No spiders in the sheets?" Jason asked, his lip curling in his own wry smile. "Then what's the point in going?"

    Everytime Katsuki’s body screamed in pain and discomfort, he would set off stronger explosions using his built up sweat, pushing himself harder to get rid of the weakness, get rid of the pain.

    After a few minutes of doing that, Katsuki felt his body start to give out. His mind kept screaming at him, ‘Move faster, get stronger! Win!’ but his body was completely rejecting the idea, starting to form a mind of its own as Katsuki’s vision started swimming again. Suddenly he felt a wave of extreme heat, coming from his own body. His vision began to darken, black spots taking over his sight. His headache was unbearable at this point, and he no longer had control of his body.

    Katsuki stopped. He stopped and gripped his head, before finally, he dropped to his knees and fell onto his side, lying limp on the ground.
    Just before Katsuki lost consciousness, he heard Todoroki’s voice calling out to Deku, followed by a terrified, “Kacchan!”

    Then Katsuki’s mind and body shut off completely.

     

    Katsuki takes his exhaustion as a sign of weakness, so he pushes himself even harder. This leads to a fever. Todoroki and Deku just want to help.
