Chapter Text
"Give it back."
Wen Kexing rolled his eyes for a hundred times.
"I will. I will."
"When? When will you give it back?" Zhou Zishu held his arms tight.
"The SNOW, A-Xu."
"It doesn't have anything to do with that! Give it back."
"How-" Wen Kexing rubbed his temple.
Zhou Zishu let out a long whine. Wen Kexing tried with all his might not to kiss that adorable puppy hanging on his arm. He was supposed to be annoyed.
Get a hold of yourself, Wen Kexing.
"Lao Wen. Lao Wen. Lao Weeen~"
"I know. I know. Will you please let me finish the bed first?? We won't be able to sleep on the bed tonight if I don't finish it now." At that, Zhou Zishu pouted and let go of his arm. Of course sleeping on the bed will be more comfortable, instead of that icy cold stone 'bed'. Not that he did not enjoy their sessions in any random part of the armory.
Well, they had found another way out from the armory after around three days. But because they couldn't go down the mountain, they settled on the other peak and started to build a small hut for themselves.
Three days later, some people came. Turned out everyone was looking for them. Lucky for those three new members of Four Season Manor that got lost on the mountain, they found Wen Kexing and Zhou Zishu.
With more than thirty people, which were their disciples and some people Shen Shen sent to help, it really did not take that long to build the mansion - which turned out to be a lot bigger than they intended to build. And both of them really did not do anything to help either.
"Of course we will be glad to help!" said their disciples.
During the construction though, Wen Kexing and Zhou Zishu spent most of their time in the armory. And Wen Kexing felt bad for them so he started to make some furniture for their mansion, so they would not have to make everything by themselves.
It was in the first week just after they started the construction that Zhou Zishu remembered something.
His jade hairpin.
His white jade hairpin.
So he took it to his personal 'important things to do' list and put it in number one.
"Find my hairpin back." Wen Kexing still remembered the first time Zhou Zishu whined about it. And it did not stop.
He would whine, pout and do everything to get Wen Kexing attention then he would ask about it so many times a day until they ended up in some rooms in the armory and Wen Kexing would 'punish' him for getting in his way of finishing the furniture.
Then the next day, he would do it all over again.
He knew he was being childish. But he could not stop himself. After all, time is all they have. He would do everything he wanted to do with his man.
Around a month later, the mansion was done. It was so beautiful. Wen Kexing hugged him from behind as they looked at their mansion.
"Do you like it?" He asked.
"Hm. My hairpin." Zhou Zishu whispered.
"A-Xu!"
He laughed and turned around to kiss Wen Kexing.
"I love it. A lot." Wen Kexing hugged him closer and leaned in to kiss him deeper.
"Uuhh.. master.." came a small hesitant voice. They turned around and saw Bi Xingming with his red tomato face standing not far from the door. Both of them chuckled.
"Yes, Xingming?" Zhou Zishu answered.
"All the members of Four Season Manor are ready to give you both our formal greetings."
"Alright. We will be there shortly." Xingming nodded and ran back inside the mansion.
"Let's go." Wen Kexing held his hand.
"Let's go." Zhou Zishu smiled.
…
Zhou Zishu just finished his bath and put on his robes when Wen Kexing entered the room.
"Are they still here?" He asked before sitting down in front of the mirror.
"Chengling and Xingming are still here. They are putting some more wood at the back. The others were just making their way down the mountain." Wen kexing took the comb from the table and slid his fingers down Zhou Zishu's hair. He always loved combing his A-Xu's hair.
"I see. You should tell them to go down the mountain quickly before it gets too dark."
"I told them already. They will go once they're finished with it." Wen Kexing held half of his hair up and turned it into a coil. Zhou Zishu could not believe his eyes.
There it was. Fastened neatly in his hair.
The jade hairpin.
His hairpin.
"You found it." He stood up abruptly and jumped into Wen Kexing's arms. The latter, who did not expect the hug, caught his feet on his own robe and both of them fell to the floor.
"Ah uh ouh.." Wen Kexing groaned. He felt Zhou Zishu's dead weight on him. Then he noticed a small shiver from his chest where Zhou Zishu buried his head.
"Are you laughing or crying?" He asked.
"Lao Wen." A small whisper came. He still could not tell whether it was a laugh or a cry but his heart was full and warm. He smiled and giggled.
"Are you that happy that I found it back for you?" He put his hands on Zhou Zishu's back and stroked it softly.
"Lao Wen."
"Yes, A-Xu." Zhou Zishu held his head up and stared into his eyes. He smiled. That was the most beautiful smile that Wen Kexing had ever seen. He caressed Zhou Zishu's cheek with his fingers.
"Lao Wen." At that call, Wen Kexing grinned and held them up together. Now Zhou Zishu was kneeling cutely on his lap. His robes were sliding down his shoulders and back
"A-Xu." He whispered as he leaned his head on Zhou Zishu's neck and breathed. He shivered and let out a small moan. Wen Kexing put his long fingers inside the robe.
"A-Xu." He called his name again. Zhou Zishu slid his arms on Wen Kexing's shoulders and hugged his neck. He felt the cold long fingers on his waist and lower back.
"Again.." he breathed. Giving all his attention to this man who held him tight.
"A-Xu." Wen Kexing rolled. Now A-xu was lying on the floor. They both giggled.
"I love you." Wen Kexing put his forehead on Zhou Zishu's.
"I love you too." Zhou Zishu closed all the remaining space between their lips and kissed Wen Kexing with all his life and love.
…
Chengling was just done putting all the wood on the rack and began to walk away from the mansion when he heard quite a loud thump from the house. He turned around and thought of going back inside before Xingming held his arm and stopped him.
"Let's just go." He smirked.
"But-" Chengling frowned with confusion.
"Come on." Xingming put his arms around Chengling's shoulder.
"You will understand when you are a bit older." He winked and giggled when he saw Chengling's face turn red.
"Let's go." Chengling said in the most awkward tone he never knew he could produce. Xingming laughed at that as they made their way down, leaving the big beautiful mansion in the middle of the snow mountain.
