Summary
Rey’s family has always been superstitious, so when her seven-year-old nephew squashes a bee in the house, she knows she’s in for a bad visit. And that’s just what happens when her estranged great-grandmother appears out of the blue to make her a job offer she cannot refuse. Unable to afford the house her parents left her, much less college, Rey soon finds herself working in a quiet flower shop in the idyllic countryside of Jakku. But when she is visited by a mysterious, threatening stranger who calls himself Kylo Ren, she begins to suspect that her apprenticeship abroad is more than just a family favor.
