“Are you sure it’s okay for us to come here by this time?” Dean asks from one side of Jake, the boy barely able to stand.

“Definitely.” He grunted, lifting a hand to knock on the door.

“Considering how quick Sam made a run for it,” Eunchan started, looking at the door with shaky eyes “I find that very hard to believe.”

“That’s only because Sam is morbidly afraid of Wolf,” Timothy supplied from behind them, holding onto Dean's jacket and Jake's hat.

“And with good reason,” Dean added with a scoff

“Look guys it’ll be fine,” Jake said, turning to knock on the door again “nothing’s gonna happen.”

They all fell silent at the sound of shuffling feet, Jake reaching out and knocking again.

“Who the fuck-“ Wolf started, tearing the door open.

“Hey cutie,” Jake started, grabbing the other’s attention “mind giving us a ha- “

He was cut off by the door slamming shut in his face “Wolf, please.”

The purple-haired boy grumbled to himself before opening the door again.

“What?” He asked.

“You’re the only person I could think of,” Jake started, “we’re an injured wolf pack looking for where to lick our wounds.”

Wolf raised his eyebrows at him, moving to close the door again.

“Okay I see how that was a bad time for a bad joke,” Jake said quickly, stopping him. “we just need a little first aid.”

“I don’t remember signing this place up as a hospital,” the other said, looking at him deeply before stepping aside and ushering them to the couch in the dark living room. “Don’t do or touch anything, I’m gonna get my glasses and a first kit.”

The boys -Jake excluded- waited for the purple-haired boy to completely leave the room before letting out relieved sighs and relaxing into the couch.

“I can’t believe he actually let us in,” Timothy said shakily, dropping the items down beside him.

“I’m just shocked he didn’t knock out Jake's teeth for calling him cutie.” Eunchan laughed, raising laughs from everyone.

“He wouldn’t do that,” Jake huffed, “he loves me.”

“I was still half asleep,” Wolf corrected, turning on the lights as he stepped back into the room, “otherwise I’d have given him a huge black eye.”

The boys hissed at the sudden brightness and Jake laughed in Wolf’s direction, “Sweet as always Wolfie.”

“You really wanna get fucked up, huh?” Wolf asked, putting on his glasses as he sat down and opened the first aid kit. He rummaged in it before looking back up at the four boys and snorting lightly, “who fucked you guys up so bad that you had to rush here all tails in-between legs? Aren’t you guys big, bad Dahyeon?”

“I’ll tell you,” Jake started, grinning wildly as the other boys groaned. “After we’re done playing the first round of sexy nurse.”

Wolf looked at him unimpressed, making Dean sigh and get up. “Mind if we use the washing machine real quick, Wolf? We’re all bloody.”

Wolf turned his scowl away from Jake before humming, “sure, knock yourselves out.” He picked up a few ointments and bandages and got up, handing them to Dean. “Feel free to shower then put these on your bruises or don’t, I really couldn’t be assed. The instructions and uses are clear on their packaging, even an idiot could work them. You can use the guest shower down the hall then leave me your lodging fee on the bedside table.”

They all froze in place, looking at the wicked grin on the boy’s face, “it was a joke,” he supplied with an eye roll as his grin fell, watching them all release deep sighs.

They all mumbled their thanks as Timothy and Eunchan turned to go first, hoping to get out of Wolf’s presence as quickly as possible.

“If they’re putting things to wash you should probably take your shirt off too, Jake,” Wolf said, turning to Jake and watching him intently. Wolf could tell he was hiding something because the Jake he he knew would never miss a chance to take off his shirt in front of him.

“Tryna see me naked, Wolfie?” Jake asked teasingly, reluctant to take off the shirt.

“Oh yeah, I’m just dying to see all two or your abs,” Wolf drawled with a blank stare, “more than that I’m tryna see whatever huge wound you're hiding from me.”

They all watched as the smile fell off Jake’s face slowly, all of them falling quiet as Wolf nodded his head at Jake with crossed arms, “go on, take off the shirt.”

Jake remained in place, not breaking eye contact with the purple-haired boy.

“Or you can always find first aid elsewhere if you don’t want to,” Wolf said finally, turning to close the box and get up.

“Fine, fine,” Jake conceded, smiling wryly before pulling the shirt off his head. The boys behind him swearing under their breaths as they got closer to him to see the gash down the side of his stomach.

“Jake,” Wolf started slowly, getting up to look at the tear at his side properly. “That is gonna need stitches, what the fuck? Did you run into a fucking knife fight? Who cut you?”

“Less of who, more of what?” He winced, handing Dean the bloodied shirt so he could put it in the machine and take the hint to carry the others along with him. “I took a blow and fell on a pretty sharp rock.”

He winced before continuing, “and if you’re gonna stitch it you should probably do it now that I’m still partially on an adrenaline rush so you don’t have me screaming bloody mercy when you jab a needle in my stomach later.”

Wolf cursed under his breath before quickly preparing the needle, he would argue that he wasn’t gonna do this but he knew Jake and he knew the idiot wasn’t going to go to a hospital. He’d either find some random person to do it for him or try to treat it himself and get it infected. “This is gonna hurt like a bitch since I am not a professional and have no form of anesthetic to give you,” he started, disinfecting around the wound “so don’t complain to me when you get down from your so-called rush and feel like shit, there’s only so much I can do.”

Jake laughed before groaning, turning to Dean who was back and signaling him to let him know he could go shower too. “I’m good as long as you kiss it better when you’re done.”

”You sure you wanna send all your friends away?” Wolf asks, threading the needle carefully. “You’re gonna need all the hand holding you can get for this.”

”The only holding I need is from-“

“If you piss me off, I’ll stitch this up then reopen it with my hands,” Wolf spat, poking the needle in harshly.

“Fuck, I’m sorry,” Jake gasped, clutching Wolf’s hand tightly over the cut “I’m sorry.”

Wolf relented finally before getting down on his knees beside Jake to work on it.

“This is not how I remember sexy nurse play,” the taller boy mumbled under his breath.

“Jake,” Wolf warned as he worked the needle quickly through the gash.

“Fuck!” Jake hissed once the pain fully registered in his mind.

“Off the high already?” Wolf asked dryly,

“It’d hurt less if you held my hand,” Jake tried, looking down at Wolf coquettishly.

“Sorry, can’t.” Wolf quipped, clicking his tongue. “I'm kind of in the middle of sewing and I’d prefer if I had both hands.”

“You referring to this as sewing makes me feel so much less comfortable about you doing this,” Jake threw down at him with a pained smile, breathing short and ragged.

“Oh, I'm so sorry,” Wolf drawled with expressions to match although he did not once look up from his work. “Please, do tell me how I can make you feel more comfortable, dear valued customer.”

“Well,” Jake smirked, “if you look a little to the left you see that you’re perfectly on eye level with my di- fuck! Wolf!”

“Complete your sentence and there’ll be nothing for me to be eye level with,” he huffed, looking up at Jake before furrowing his brows and quickly getting back to the task at hand.

They stayed in silence for a little while -Jakes whines and Wolf’s disinterested apologies excluded- before Wolf finally wiped it off with alcohol, covered the wound with a thin layer of petroleum jelly and applied a nonstick bandage.

“There,” he sighed, getting up. “All done.”

“Is it good, doctor?” Jake asked, trying to look down at the wound.

“Yeah, it’s high quality,” he scoffed, wiping the caked blood off his hands and out from under his nails. “well, as high quality as stitches from a high school freshman with both parents as doctors gets.”

Jake laughed and pulled him onto his lap with a grunt, kissing his shoulder. “Thanks, babe, good work.”

“You can thank me by telling me who beat you to a pulp.” Wolf huffed, rolling his eyes as he turned to wipe at the blood on his boyfriend’s forehead with a disinfectant wipe.

“Mmm later,” Jake murmured, pulling his hand away to kiss at his palm.

“It must really hurt, huh?” Wolf murmured, threading his fingers through his hair. “You’re acting like more of an idiot than usual.”

Jake snorted, leaning into the touch ever so gently, “hurts like a bitch.”

Wolf turned in the hug and reached for the first aid kit, pulling out pills and popping two into Jake’s hand. “I’m not licensed to give you any actual form of sedatives, but these painkillers should help a bit.”

He got up into the kitchen and brought back a glass of water which Jake accepted gingerly with a tired smile.

“You don’t have to tell me who you fought,” Wolf finalized, watching him swallow the pills with his arms crossed over his chest and his brows furrowed. “but take better care of yourself, I’d rather not consistently have to stitch my boyfriend up at half past 12.”

Jake laughed and dropped the glass on a side table, pulling Wolf in for a hug. “What?” He asked, “I kinda like having you on midnight patchwork duty.” He smiled down as the other boy threw him a glare. He knew better than to tease Wolf too much when he was this concerned about him.

“As I said earlier,” he countered, taking off his glasses as Jake pulled them down to lay on the couch. “I’d rather not be.”

“This is good,” the taller boy mumbled, changing the subject completely as he kissed Wolf’s bare shoulder again. “I love you.”

“You should shower,” Wolf supplied, ignoring him. “you smell like blood and sore loser.”

The taller chuckled again, pulling him closer. “yeah, I will, I love you.”

Wolf was quiet before letting out an exasperated sigh and mumbling out a slight “yeah.”

“Yeah, what?” Jake asked, smiling into the shoulder he had just finished kissing

“Yeah... Me too,” the shorter murmured, “I love you too.”

Jake moved up slightly, catching his lips with his own in a light kiss. “Then let’s just stay like this for a while, babe.”

“Yeah, sure,” Wolf sighed, running his hands through the bright ginger hair in front of him and burying his face in his neck. “But it you fall asleep, I’m punching you.”

Notes:

They both fell asleep on the couch and Timothy, Dean and Eunchan had to rock, paper scissors to decide who would wake Wolf up.
