“Oh. Oh my god.” Buck suddenly mumbles.
Hen, who’s sat beside him with a mug of coffee and a med school book, barely looks up as she hums in question.
“I’m in love with Eddie.”
That gets her attention.
She looks up at Buck, eyebrow raised, smirk in place.
“Congratulations. You’re officially the last person to know.” She says dryly.
“Wait. Yo-you know?” Buck asks, incredulously.
And gets Hen’s classic ‘bitch please’ look back.
“Honey, everyone in the state of California knows you’re in love with Eddie. Except maybe Eddie and yourself.”
“Fuck.”
“Please do. The sexual tension is suffocating.”
And, yeah, the pillow she gets to the face is well justified, Hen thinks. But so worth it.
