They’re called back to The Saddle Ranch, to the same three girls. Only this time, the mechanical bull malfunctioned and threw poor Jennifer off of it, before falling on top of her.
Bobby barely represses an eye roll as her two friends once again relentlessly flirt with Buck and Eddie while she’s being tended to by Hen and Chimney.
“So, do you still have a girlfriend?” The brunette asks Buck.
“Uh no, I do not.” He tells her politely, squirming a little to get away from her.
“Perfect, you can take my number now.” She grins.
“What about you? You got a girlfriend?” The black haired one asks Eddie, who simply shakes his head ‘no’.
“God, they will not take a hint.” Hen mumbles.
“I know, it’s hilarious.” Chimney grins, popping a bubble in his gum.
“Okay Jennifer. We’re going to have to take you to the hospital this time. You’ve broken your pelvic bone.” Hen tells the girl in their care.
“Okay.” She breathes.
“Have you considered drinking at another bar?” Chimney asks her as they get her loaded on the gurney.
“Definitely after today.” Jennifer groans.
“Hey, either of you wanna go with your friend to the hospital?” Bobby calls over.
The two girls turn away from where they’re still cornering poor Buck and Eddie and the boys make a break for it.
As they’re walking away, Eddie mumbles something to Buck, making him hunch over and laugh loudly. The girls turn back to track the movement with hungry eyes.
“God you even have a sexy mouth.” The brunette purrs at Buck.
Eddie rolls his eyes. “Yeah he does. It’s even prettier when it’s wrapped around my dick, though.” He shrugs.
Everyone stops to stare at him. He doesn’t even look slightly apologetic. If anything, he looks smug. Buck chokes out a startled laugh, Hen absolutely howls in laughter, Chimney rolls his eyes with a fond “Gross guys” while Bobby shakes his head with a smile.
“Wait, you guys are boyfriends?” Jennifer asks.
“Engaged, actually.” Eddie holds his left hand up, wiggling the fingers and making the ring on his finger sparkle in the light.
Jennifer snorts in laughter as her friends pull horrified faces. They can’t get inside the back of the ambulance quick enough.
The 118’s laughter follows them all the way to the hospital.
