Work Text:

TK wasn’t sure what he was doing dancing with the hot cop at the Honky Tonk.

He had just moved here three days ago.

He had barely even met anyone other than his crew at the 126, and he wasn’t too sure about any of them yet to be honest.

But this guy, this hot, adorable, funny, guy, well him, him he couldn’t get enough of.

Hell, he didn’t even know his name.

But he knew that he could dance, and damn did he do it well.

And there was definitely a spark there, of that much he was certain.

Which is why when the man had dragged him outside and into the rain he had been both shocked and excited.

He wasn’t looking for what he suspected this might lead to.

But good lord almighty he certainly wasn’t going to say ‘no’ to it either.

“Wait, wait, wait.” He had just gotten ready to lean in for a kiss when he felt two strong hands on his chest, holding him back, and he huffed.

“Really?” He cocked his head to the side and raised an eyebrow. “You dragged me out here and you’re gonna tell me to wait? I thought this was going somewhere.”

“It still can,” TK smiled as he tried to lean in again, but once more, he was stopped, “but I don’t even know your name and that just feels, wrong.”

The strong hands that had been on his chest slowly moved across his t-shirt and up over his shoulders and then down his arms.

This guy was damn good and it was making TK feel things he hadn’t in a while.
“TK.” The other man raised an eyebrow and sighed, it was almost like he didn’t believe him. “My name is TK.”

“TK? Really?” Yes, yes really.

He knew it was ridiculous, but the only person to blame for that was currently inside doing tequila shots with the paramedic captain and he wasn’t about to bring up that kind of drama right now.

“What’s your name Mr. Knight in Shining Armor?” He found himself stepping closer as he dipped his head quickly, letting his lips connect with the pulse point on the other man’s neck, eliciting a moan that sent shivers down his spine.

“Carlos.” He choked out, his hands going to grip at TK’s hips as their ground against them slowly. “Carlos Reyes.”

“Well, Officer Reyes…” He was going to call him that from now on because it just sounded so damn sexy and he couldn’t help himself. “It’s nice to meet you.”

Carlos simply nodded his head as he let his hands wander under TK’s shirt and over his stomach and abs before pushing him back slowly, bringing them eye to eye once more.

“I have a question for you TK?” Oh lord, this couldn’t be good. “Can I kiss you?”

“Do you really think you have to ask?” Because the way their bodies were responding to each other right now should have been enough indication to him that kissing was simply the next step they needed to take.

“I am normally a gentleman, I’ll have you know.” TK chuckled as he reached out and cupped Carlos’ cheeks against his palms before leaning in and slamming his lips against the officers.

Gentleman? Sure? TK would believe it when he saw it.

When they finally pulled away from the kiss he couldn’t help but chuckle as Carlos struggled to catch his breath.

“Do this kind of thing often, Officer?” The other man rolled his eyes before nipping at his lips again, his teeth catching TK’s bottom lip between them and tugging softly.

“Never.” He didn’t know whether he believed him or not, because it seemed as though he wasn’t phased by the idea of making out behind the Honky Tonk with a total stranger.

But then again, TK wasn’t bothered by it, so why should he be?

“Wanna get out of here?” He didn’t know where that question had come from but Carlos’ hands were currently making their way over his hips and dipping below the waistband of his pants and he had lost the ability to think clearly.

“Sure.” TK didn’t know where they would go, hopefully the other man had a place and no roommates, or, at the very least, roommates who didn’t care if they came back to the house and made noise all night long.

Because let’s be real here, that’s exactly what was going to be happening if they left here together.

“You got somewhere in mind?” His breath hitched in his chest when Carlos’ knee grazed his crotch and the smile on the other man's face was beyond wicked.

“My place?” Oh good, they had somewhere to go, that was a start.

“As long as it isn’t here…” God he sounded so needy but he didn’t care because Carlos’ lips were now on his neck and his hands were gripping his hips so tightly that he knew they would bruise.

“Good, let’s go.” And then just like that there was a good ten feet between them and Carlos was heading toward the parking lot and TK let out a groan.

He just hoped that the other man planned to make it up to him later, because that, that was so unfair.
