   Summary

   Maybe, she supposed, when she was really, really little, looking at her mom’s caring face, blurred out with time, a polaroid underwater, she may have wanted to be something, other than what she was. Maybe, like all little girls, she wanted to be like the kind, unfaulting mom she saw in her clouded vision.
