I’m Right Here
-A Dynasty ONESHOT-
“No, please. Stop! Please, stop!” Fallon struggled against her captor, trying to desperately get him to stop. He was holding her wrists, making it near impossible to move without feeling pain.
“The more you struggle, the worse this hurts.” The captor said, holding down her wrists even harder.
“Fallon, stop moving.” Liam begged from his chair. Evan had tied Liam to a chair, and threatened to kill him if Fallon didn’t do as he said.
Fallon obliged the request of her husband and stopped struggling. With her sudden lack of movement, Evan let go of one of her wrists and tied it to the chair with a rope. He picked up the knife and held it to her throat, much like he had done on the auditorium stage.
“You deserve to pay for your sins.”
Fallon’s scream could be heard by the whole world as Evan dragged the knife across her throat.
“Fallon! Fallon, wake up!” She heard a voice yell, pulling her from her nightmare.
The woman bolted into an upright position and her eyes sprung open. She frantically scanned her surroundings, and calmed slightly when she realized she was in her bedroom. She then turned to look at her husband next to her. He was also sitting up, staring at her with wide eyes.
“What?” Fallon asked, as if nothing was wrong.
“‘What?’ Fallon, I just woke up to you screaming.” Liam responded, confusion and worry lacing his voice.
“Oh. I had a nightmare. It’s no big deal.” Fallon really didn’t want to talk about the nightmare, and she wished they could just go back to sleep.
“Fallon, no big deal is being startled awake because of a nightmare. It becomes a big deal when you wake up screaming bloody murder.” Liam took Fallon’s hand in his and gave it a comforting squeeze. “Please, talk to me.”
Fallon sighed, hating the effect her new husband had on her. At that moment, she wanted her walls to stay up, protect her, but Liam could read her like an open book and break down her walls.
“The nightmare was about Evan.”
“Fallon, he’s in jail. He’s never going to touch you again. You’re safe.” Liam assured, trying to comfort his new wife.
“But what if I’m not? What if he escapes and finds me?”
“He won’t, Fallon.”
Fallon let out a strangled sigh, leaning back against Liam.
“I’m scared, Liam.” Fallon admitted, burying her head in his chest.
“I know. I don’t know if it’ll make you feel any better, but I’m right here. I’m not going anywhere.”
Fallon looked up at him with a small smile on her face. He craned his neck down and pressed a loving kiss to her temple.
“You and me, baby.” Fallon started, waiting for her husband to finish.
“‘Till the end of time.”
