The more Diavolo pushes Lucifer to hire a house manager, the more stressed Lucifer becomes. Does the prince not understand how difficult it is to find good help? After Barbatos conducts formal interviews, Lucifer allows fate to decide which applicant will endure the House of Lamentation’s chaos. They had better prepare well, or they’re out. Compared to her brother Barbatos, Celeste is new to the butler life and struggles to maintain employment as she’s often described as “too distracting.” Whatever. She can’t control her physical appearance and loves her look, especially when she realizes it can serve Lucifer well to keep the brothers in line. Still, her past-life pokes her demon soul, despite following her dream to help others. She is far from a subtle butler, but this path offers more consistency and peace.
