Summary
When the foulmouthed Fisherman's Daughter turns down a marriage proposal from the well off fisherman's boys, her boat is wrecked and nearly drowns. She awakes on land, alive and well and the Warren Boys are missing. Already the black sheep of the village, as she was a pretty girl who was never taken but instead was banned from stepping foot on Castle grounds- is ostracized more when her fortune seems to turn around drastically. Gifts are left on her doorstep, she's able to catch fish without even trying, and a mysterious doctor visits her ill father at night. When the village is fed up with her special treatment, some of the others decide something has to be done. Good thing Mother Miranda has a solution. Marry her to the Fish Lord.
But our foulmouthed heroine might actually like it... if she could ever look upon her soon to be groom.
