Summary
Larry didn't have the best life growing up, but it certainly wasn't the worst it could've been either. So why did he feel like this? Other people have it worse, so why can't he just be happy? Every day he wishes it would get easier but it just doesn't. Things start to look up though, when a familiar face moves into room 502.
In this AU the cult doesn't exist. Travis's dad was a reverend with extremist views, Larry's dad left for other reasons, Sal and his mom were shot by one of her exes. Etc etc, feel free to ask any questions about this au in the comments.
