   Summary

On the eve of yet another birthday, a melancholic Admiral Kirk wonders what his legacy will be. Somewhere along the line, as he became tied to a desk, he lost himself. It takes his bondmate Spock to help him see what he wants from life...and it takes his old nemesis Khan Noonien Singh to help him see what he needs from life.

This is a slash retelling of The Wrath of Khan, expanding into and beyond the scope of the film, with emphasis on the inner thoughts of Kirk.

   Tapestry series.
