Work Text:
Once upon a time, there were two neighboring kingdoms, and each of them had a little prince. The two princes were born to fulfill their destiny. They were given tasks of finding princesses with whom they would share their ever-afters. One of them, Prince Kongpob, was very brave, and the other, Prince Arthit, was very smart.
The two princes were raised together, reading the same books about sleeping princesses who needed true love’s kisses to be woken up. Sometimes, they trained each other in the art of kissing because they wanted to impress any sleeping princesses they would happen to chance across, although the smart prince started questioning the legends.
Years passed, and the princes became handsome heirs to their respective thrones. They grew up and fought wars together, and along the way, they searched for their princesses.
But as months went by, as they searched for a glass coffin and a cave guarded by a dragon in the darkest of forests, they slowly realized they were searching for nothing. The smart prince convinced the brave one that the legends were false and there were no princesses to save. And easily, without any questions, the brave one believed him.
They continued their lives as heirs to their thrones. They led their armies side by side, and their kingdoms prospered together.
They stopped searching for princesses.
But they never stopped kissing.
