“You shouldn’t be touching me. I’m your murderer,” says the Ben before her, the one who’s shaking as she tightens her arms around his chest.
He has just appeared, on the Falcon, in a corridor. Her mouth had fallen open and she’d dropped the ration bar she’d been eating. She thought he was some type of Force ghost or hallucination until she touched him and he was firm under his tunic, his pulse pounding under warm skin.
He doesn’t return her embrace, and she lets go to look up at him. It’s the visible scar that gives her pause, that makes her step back. The scar that she’d healed on Kef Bir.
