Summary
Lex loses his mind and leaves Lena, whose faded soulmark has never worked, with a company to save and a target on her back when she makes clear that she isn't simply going to continue his work.
In her efforts to protect Lena and uncover who is after her, Kara (who doesn't have a soulmark at all) learns how to be a hero that Krypton and Earth can both be proud of.
OR
A slow burn remix of seasons 1 and 2 of Supergirl in a world where everyone except Lena and Kara have (working) soulmarks.
