Summary
He’s a tall bloke, easily has five inches on both of them, with long legs and long arms. James reckons he’s gay, but Sirius isn’t so sure. Can people tell you’re gay just by looking at you? The way he stands reminds him of Der Wanderer über dem Nebelmeer by Freidrich even though there’s no cane or flowing overcoat, only curly brown hair and a flash of amber in his eyes under the bar-lights. It’s like if people were art movements, James is Renaissance, Sirius is Baroque and this guy’s Romantic. And Peter – he’s fucking medieval, like those ugly homuncular babies by Bellini.
Sirius isn't too keen on going to university, but he follows James up to Edinburgh anyway. Remus returns for second year, only mildly upset that he has to live with a bunch of freshers. Lily wonders if it's sad that she's still a virgin at the age of nineteen. Peter elects to study French because it's probably all he's good for.
