Kei wakes up to his phone aggressively buzzing next to him and he barely opens one eye to look at the caller ID. It takes him a second to read it, as he doesn’t have his glasses on, and he sighs as he picks it up, answering it.
‘What does he want right now…’ “Whaddya want Sho,” he says tiredly, the phone up to his left ear.
“Kei! I didn’t know if you’d be up this late,” Shouyou says with way too much energy.
“Well I wasn’t but I am now… What time is it anyways?” he mumbles.
“Oh uhhhhh, just 1, anyways-”
“Why are you up, go to sleep.”
“But Kei I wanted to tell you something before I go to sleep!”
“Hm? What is it?”
“I love you, Kei,” Shouyou giggles.
Kei lets out an exasperated sigh, “That’s it?”
“Yup!”
“I love you too… dumbass.”
“Kei! That’s not nice!”
Kei can practically hear the adorable pout in his voice, “Fine, fine, I love you, Sho. Now go to sleep, we have morning practice.”
“Ok! Goodnight, Kei, I’ll see you in the morning!” Shouyou chirps happily.
“Goodnight, Sho, see you tomorrow,” Kei says before hanging up. He sets his phone back down with a sigh and ends up falling asleep with a small smile on his face.
