    jimin is cursed.

    specifically, he inherited his family’s curse, and it just so happened that his twelfth birthday was the tenth anniversary of his seventh cousin’s grandmother’s death, and that timing was apparently good enough for the universe to finally pass her curse along to him.

    the curse itself was fairly benign, as curses go. simply put, jimin had to help people, in any way he could, whenever they encountered a particularly vexing problem. there were a few finer details, of course, but that was how jimin understood it.
