Chapter Text
They say my name is Ninomae Ina’nis. I’m a girl with purplish-black hair with orange highlights, stormy grey eyes, a slim and petite figure, and a confusing body structure and genetic make-up. I have a girlfriend named Watson Amelia and a small group of friends with which we sometimes hang out, though we’re all scattered around the globe living our lives. Amelia lives far away from me, but has come to visit me in what I have been told is a time of need. I worked as a part-time barista, hoping to make some money while I peacefully lived life. Life was good and I enjoyed all of the time I spent with Amelia.
But I don’t remember any of it. Besides the obvious features that I can see in the mirror, everything else was told to me by the doctors and Amelia herself. They say that a couple of weeks ago, I got into a horrible car accident, hitting my head and losing my memory, part of myself, and my mind. All I can really remember is how to speak, and even walking, eating, and drinking is hard.
I suppose it’s plausible. But, I don’t get it. I don’t remember anything before this, so who’s to say I ever lived until now? Amelia and the doctors say otherwise, but I’m not sure if I can believe them. I haven’t seen proof of myself or anything like that yet, but the doctors say to take it easy because if all of my memories come back at once, it might hurt a lot. Well, that’s assuming they’re going to come back. I don’t care if they do or don’t. I don’t remember anything anyway.
