I’m Only Human

Summary:

"Tommy, you're doing it again" Tubbo whispered to his friend.

"Doing what again?" Tommy asked, having to look down at his smaller friend.

"Your pride is showing"

Tommy seized up at the words. Tommy loved to show off and all that stuff, but there was only one thing he was insecure about.

He was chosen to be one of the deadly sins.

Out of everyone in the world, he just had to be PRIDE!

OR!

There are seven people in the world to be chosen to represent the deadly sins. They have a mark on their wrist and life kinda sucks for them. And Tommy, an orphan, was chosen as Pride and he meets the other deadly sins.

Notes:

I love every single person on the Dream SMP, but I was sad and wanted to write this. So I did. Please don’t be offended by this. It’s my first work on here, but if you have any tips and stuff please come and tell me!

Chapter 1: The Meeting

Chapter Text

"Tommy, you're doing it again" Tubbo whispered to his friend.

"Doing what again?" Tommy asked, having to look down at his smaller friend.

"Your pride is showing"

Tommy seized up at the words. Tommy loved to show off and all that stuff, but there was only one thing he was insecure about.

He was chosen to be one of the deadly sins.

Out of everyone in the world, he just had to be PRIDE!

"It's not my fault I'm fucking amazing" Tommy said, lifting his chin even higher.

Tubbo rolled his eyes at his friend. People would ask why Tubbo stayed with a deadly sin.

It's because Tommy was his best friend. He knew not everything Tommy did was his fault. He also knew that Tommy cared about him as well and probably go on a murder spree if Tubbo tried to leave the clingy bitch.

Tommy and Tubbo walked down the sidewalk, until entering a familiar driveway. They walked up the concrete and knocked on the door of the old house.

A man with orange hair opened the door and looked at the two boys with anger and jealousy.

"Come in," the man said. The two boys walked through the door, and Tubbo took note of the mark on his wrist.

It was just like the mark on Tommy's wrist, except a different symbol.

"Envy," Tommy whispered to Tubbo, looking smug.

"Cool. Why are we even here?" Tubbo questioned.

"This is one of the first times I'm meeting the other deadly sins, and I wanted you to be here just in case," Tommy said. Tubbo smiled in understanding and the two walked deeper into the house.

They walked into the kitchen where three men stood.

One had messy brown hair and was sitting on the floor, propped up against a cabinet. He had a beer in his hand and around him were empty beer bottles.

Another was wearing a beanie and seemed to be flirting with the man in the floor. He then seemed to be trying to initiate some sort of sexual thing, which made the two younger boys gag.

The third man was smoking a cigarette and lowered the cigar to shout out loud.

"FUNDY! WHEN THE FUCK IS DREAM GETTING HERE?!?"

The orange haired man from earlier came in. He looked at the scene, his face twisting into a weird look, and he said,"Dream should be here soon. He's picking up George."

"Bullshit! He won't be here for a while then," The man seethed.

"Wilbur, calm down."

"I am, only because there are fucking children here."

"I am NOT A CHILD" Tommy spat out.

"How old are you?" The man named Wilbur asked.

"My friend and I are both 16," Tubbo said, grasping Tommy's hand to calm him down.

It worked enough for Tommy not to punch anyone at the moment.

"Welcome!" The man with the beanie said, getting off the man on the floor. "My name is Quackity. I'm lust."

Quackity showed the boys the marking on his wrist and then walked over to a cabinet. He pulled out some beer and passed one to Wilbur, and kept the other to himself.

This seemed to anger the man on the floor because he stood up, his suit looking all messed up, and grabbed three more beers.

"Call me Schlatt, and I'm gluttony."

He took a swig and sat on a countertop. Quackity rolled his eyes and said,"But the man only drinks alcohol."

"It's my way of feeling in power of this fucking curse!"

"Well I just go to therapy!" Quackity shouted back.

"And how many therapists have you gotten pregnant?" Wilbur asked.

"How many times have you had to go to the hospital because of your smoking addiction and how many times have you been put in anger management?" Quackity retorted.

"This is why I do boxing!"

"I'm guessing your wrath?" Tubbo asked Wilbur. The man nodded and continued to smoke.

"Why can't I have a cigarette?" The orange haired man, named Fundy asked.

"Because you are envy and you need help," Wilbur said.

"At least I haven't been thrown in prison for more than a week!"

"It sounds like it sucks to be a sin and an adult," Tubbo commented.

"I can handle whatever the fucking world throws at me. I can take it because I'm the best." Tommy said, with his puffed out chest and chin held high.

"You're pride, aren't you?" Wilbur asked, before blowing out a huge puff of smoke.

Tommy nodded proudly, and then everyone turned to Tubbo.

"What sin are you?" Schlatt asked.

"I'm not a sin," Tubbo said,"I'm just here to help support my friend."

"Fuck friends" Fundy hissed. Schlatt snickered before taking another large swig of, was that straight vodka?!?

"Dream ain't gonna like that," Wilbur said, with a smile.

"This Dream guy can suck it," Tommy said.

Wilbur's smile grew even more and said,"Oh. And he definitely won't like that!"

Chapter 2: Greed and Pride is a Dangerous Combo

Summary:

Dream smiled under his porcelain mask, his green eyes glinting with mischief and thirst. Tommy was an obnoxious child who clearly didn't listen to authority. And adding on the fact that he is Pride, it doesn't help Dream's need to be in control. He needs to control the kid. Maybe even his friend would be a fun toy.

Notes:

I hope you liked the first chapter of many. I have most of the story already planned out, but if you have any theories or plot suggestions I might take them in for consideration.

And is anyone excited for Dream? Is he gonna be the regular manipulative teletubby, or will he be nice big brother Dream?

AND THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR READING!

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Dream pulled up to the old house and let out a sigh. He had finally made it.

He was worried of how the others were doing by themselves. Hopefully there were not chewing each other's heads off. Especially not in front of the newbie.

Of course they'd have to get use to it, but not on the first day!

Dream shook himself out of his worries and turned to George, who's eyes were closed.

"Awww, he looks so peaceful sleeping" Dream cooed,"WAKE UP YOU ASS!"

George jumped and hit his head on the roof of the car. He started rubbing the top of his head and glared at the green eyed man.

"What the fuck!"

"We're here," Dream said, and stepped out of the car. George rolled his eyes, yawned, and stepped out.

Dream made sure his mask was secure. The two walked up the driveway and knocked on the door of the old house. They heard a scuffling from inside, and a bit of shouting.

Fundy opened the door, looking angry.

"You good Fundy?" Dream asked. Fundy looked between the two, then behind him glaring, then back.

"I guess. I'm just a sin," The orange haired man huffed. Fundy stepped aside to let Dream and George into the house.

Dream followed Fundy to the kitchen, having to drag George with them. When they entered, Dream saw Schlatt on the floor, drinking like usual. Quackity was on top of the fridge watching Wilbur yell at some blonde kid while his brown haired friend tried to calm him down.

"What is happening?!?" Dream shouted over the noise. Wilbur, Quackity, and Schlatt snapped their heads up while the blonde and brunette turned around.

"Who are you?" Dream asked the kids. Why were kids even here? Did Phil drop them off? Why would he do that?!?

"I'm so sorry," the brunette said,"I'm Tubbo and this is my friend Tommy. He got into a fight with Wilbur and I tried to stop it and we're here to meet with all the sins."

"But you're not a sin," Dream said to the brunette kid, Tubbo he said?

"How-" Tubbo started.

"The only sin we didn't have here was pride," Dream explained,"And you are, obviously, not pride. Too nice. Also, you don't have a mark."

The Tubbo kid looked a bit taken aback, but quickly regained himself and nodded.

"But why are you here, if you're not a sin?" Dream asked.

The blonde, Tommy, took a step forward and said,"Listen here, bitch boy. Tubbo is my best friend, but he is also extremely clingy. Where I go, he goes. And vice versa. So fuck off if you think you're gonna kick him out!"

Dream looked between the smiling brunette and the angry blonde, who was clinging onto his friend.

A dozen different responses ran through Dream's head, but he didn't say anything since he wanted to make a good first impression. Now if Wilbur and said that, they would have had some issues.

"I'm not gonna kick him out," Dream sighed, rolling his eyes. "Just make sure he doesn't go telling anyone about us."

"I wont!" "He wont!"

Dream nodded and rolled his eyes. He walked out of the kitchen and everyone followed. Dream smiled under his porcelain mask, his green eyes glinting with mischief and thirst. Tommy was an obnoxious child who clearly didn't listen to authority. And adding on the fact that he is Pride, it doesn't help Dream's need to control the kid. Maybe even his friend would be a fun toy.

Dream dropped himself on the couch in the "living room". George laid his head on an arm rest of the couch, kicked his legs up which ended with them lanky things across Dream's lap. He nestled into the comfy couch, which made Dream smile warmly, and put his cloud glasses over his eyes. Everyone knew he was already asleep. It was just what normally happened.

Fundy sat on a large and soft bean bag chair, his arms crossed. He glared around at everyone and pulled out something wrapped in paper. It was just gum, luckily. Dream didn't need to be worried about another person on drugs. The only person who really did drugs anymore was Quackity, but not as much anymore. Dream suspected Schlatt did some from time to time, as well. Wilbur only smoked. And hopefully the kids didn't do any of the adults' nasty habits.

Schlatt dropped himself into an arm chair and took a swig from another beer bottle. That left Wilbur standing in a corner, smoking, and the two kids sharing a large armchair.

Dream noticed how they were holding each other's hands and occasionally squeezing the other's to make sure they were alright. They're close. Dream smirked. Oh yes, they will be fun to play with.

"So, how is everyone doing?" Dream asked, starting off their little talk circle. "Anything anyone wants to share?"

"Wilbur is gonna start using nicotine patches soon to help him quit smoking!" Fundy said, excitedly. Wilbur was somewhat of a Father figure to Fundy in a strange way.

Everyone looked to Wilbur, who seemed to be smoking like his life depended on it. Wil looked up, looking like a mix between a guilty child caught stealing and an angry child who was being punished. That mostly described Wil half the time.

"Wil?" Schlatt scoffed.

Wilbur rolled his eyes and said,"Yes. I'm gonna try and quit, only because Niki asked me to."

Everyone nodded in understanding. It was hard to say no to Niki. Pretty much everyone knew her. Even the kids it seemed.

"Tommy, Tubbo." Dream said. The two kids looked at him, slightly  frightened to be spoken to. "You know Niki?"

"Yep!" Tommy said. "We're good friends with her!"

"We sometimes work for her in her bakery and she allows us to have any pastries she has left over at the end of the day!" Tubbo piped up.

"She refuses to let us pay for anything, though," Tommy grumbled.

"Do you know why?" Quackity asked.

"It's because she thinks we are a charity case," Tommy responded a bit angrily.

"You can't blame her, Toms, we are basically living on the streets," Tubbo says.

"You're what now?!?" Wilbur exclaims. For once, Fundy doesn't look jealous. Just sympathetic and shocked.

"We're orphans," Tubbo explains,"We use most of our money to pay for food."

Dream turns to Wilbur, who is staring at the kids.

"Wil," Dream says, grabbing the man's attention. He hums as a response and Dream says,"You think Phil would want another kid or two?"

Despite the fact the Dream could sometimes seem heartless and inhuman, he does have a bit of humanity. He also sees away that this could help with his overall plan. It's definitely not him wanting to help these kids just because.

"Phil will literally be anyone's dad," Wilbur said,"He picked up a kid the other day. He says he's waiting for the kid to start talking to him and tell him where he lives, but we all know he's gonna keep him."

Dream and Quackity laughed at that, while Schlatt was trying not to black out and Fundy was pouting.

"Who's Phil?" Tubbo asked.

"Are we gonna get kidnapped?' Tommy asked.

Dream chuckled and said,"Depends if Wil's dad wants to keep you."

Tubbo and Tommy looked between each other, both conflicted.

Notes:

Dream and Gogy came to the house! We learned more about Tubbo and Tommy. Big Brother Dream, Pog? Or manipulative Dream pog? I think a good blend of both is good. for now…
Thank you guys so much for reading my fanfic! When I saw how many reads and kudos there were already, I almost cried. Thank you guys so much!

Chapter 3: It’s Not Kidnapping if They Consent

Summary:

"Well! I never knew my dad, but my mom stayed," Tommy explained. "We were poor and living off the bare minimum. My mom died when I was three, due to a sickness that we couldn't treat because we didn't have the money. I bounced between foster homes, and no one wanted to keep me. I barely remember what my mom looks like and I found Tubbo in a box, when we were four or five. I was with a foster family. They kicked us out. So we were forced onto the streets with nothing."

"Damn," Wil said.

Chapter Text

The meeting didn't last long after that. Fundy helped Quackity take Schlatt home. Dream decided he was gonna stay for a while longer with George. Wilbur convinced Tubbo and Tommy to at least come and meet Phil.

Wilbur drove the two kids to his place. It was 25 minutes away and, when Wilbur pulled up to a nice looking house, he locked the doors so the boys couldn't get out.

"Wilbur, you fucking locked the doors," Tommy said.

"Listen, do not tell Phil about my smoking," Wilbur hissed. "He thinks I quit two years ago."

"When did you start?" Tommy asked.

"When I was 15," Wilbur answered.

"Oh shit," Tommy gasped, seeing as him and Tubbo were 16.

"We wont tell, since you're quitting," Tubbo pipes up.

"Tommy?" Wilbur asked.

"Sure, big man!" Tommy says, a mischievous hint in his eyes.

"If you tell Phil, I will release my wrath on you," Wilbur threatened. Tommy snorted, but dropped his grin when he saw the dead serious look on Wilbur's face. The blonde nodded and Wil unlocked the doors. The three got out and went up to the house. He unlocked the front door and let the two kids in.

"WIL, MATE? IS THAT YOU?" Voice yelled across the house.

"YA! AND I BROUGHT YOU SOMETHING!" Wil shouted back. Wil motioned for Tubbo and Tommy to follow him, so they did.

"You can sit," Wilbur said, acting like a completely different person from when they were in the old house. "There wasn't anything suitable for you kids to eat at the meeting. You want anything?"

"You got soup?" Tommy asked.

"We have chicken noodle soup," Wil asked. "Is that good?"

"You're asking two orphans who barely have enough money to buy food for themselves," Tubbo deadpanned. Wilbur nodded and started making soup.

A man with long pink hair, that was tied up in a braid, came walking down the stairs behind them and sighed.

"Wilbur," the man said. "Did you bring home orphans?"

Wilbur turned around and said,"Yes, they're friends."

"Wil," the man said, leaning against the counter, desperation in his eyes. "You know what's gonna happen if Phil sees them. Please tell me this isn't the 'something' you brought him."

"Techno, you could always move out. You are in your twenties."

"Wil please," the man named Techno pleaded.

"You didn't have a problem with Ranboo," Wilbur smirked.

"That's different."

"How?"

"For one, I'm pretty sure he's not an orphan. Just a lost kid with trauma and maybe amnesia," Techno explains. "Second of all, it seemed like he was abused before. And third of all, he gave me a gift."

"If I gave you a gift and told you of my terrible, very unpog life, would you feel like I can stay?" Tommy asked.

Techno turned to the two boys, finally acknowledging the fact that they were there.

"Depends" Techno mumbled.

"Damn," Wil said, warming up the soup.

"Wait, who's Tubbo?" Techno asked.

"Me!" Tubbo chirped. Techno nodded and looked to Tommy, as if silently asking the kid's name.

"I'm Tommy," he said, starting to fidget with his hands.

"And what's your story kid?" Techno asked Tubbo.

"I don't really know. I don't think I had a mom. I believe I had a dad. I don't remember much before Tommy found me in a box on the side of the road and I never bothered to find out," Tubbo said.

"There was a note in the box," Tommy said. "I think it said that someone couldn't take care of you and hopefully you would find a good home."

"And that's a smart way to handle that," Wilbur huffed. "By putting your kid in a box and leaving them on the side of the road."

Tubbo shrugged, not seeming to care too much about it.

"Ok," Techno nodded. "And you mentioned a gift?"

"Two more brothers and pogness!" Tommy exclaimed with a nod. Everyone started laughing and they heard a pair of footsteps come down stairs.

"Oh no" Techno whispered, as a man that looked a lot like Tommy but was wearing a a green robe with a bucket hat came into the kitchen.

The man had somewhat long blonde hair. It wasn't nearly as long as Techno's, but it was a bit longer than Wilbur's. He had gentle sky blue eyes and a warm smile.

"Welcome home, mate," The man said to Wilbur.

"Thanks dad," Wil greeted, but didn't take his eyes from the soup.

"Who are you?" Tommy asked. The man turned his attention to Tommy and his eyes lit up.

"I'm Philza!" The man greeted. "But you can just call me Phil, mate." Phil stuck out his hand and shook the two boy's hands.

"I'm Tommy and this is Tubbo," the blonde boy said.

"Nice to meet you!" Phil responded. "Whatcha making there Wil?"

"Chicken noodle soup for the gremlins," Wil responded, pouring the soup into two different bowls.

"We are not gremlins!" Tommy protested. "I am the most pog person you will ever meet and Tubbo may seem innocent, but he is a dickhead."

Wilbur nodded, while rolling his eyes and handed the boys their soup. They just stared at the contents for a bit before eating.

Not eating, inhaling. "What the fuck?" Phil said. "Do you two not get fed?"

"You just missed their sob story," Techno deadpanned.

"When was the last time you two ate?" Wilbur asked.

Both stopped from their vicious slaughter of the soup to look up.

"Nearly a week, technically," Tubbo said, and ate his soup more slowly. "Niki is visiting family and we couldn't find any jobs to help us pay for food."

"Aren't there soup kitchens nearby?!?" Wil exclaimed.

"Wilbur," Tommy sighed,"Have a carrot, calm yourself." He went back to eating his soup as well and the three men looked between each other.

***

After everything had been explained to Phil, nobody could convince Phil not to keep the two boys.

"Phil, where are they gonna sleep?" Techno asked.

"The spare bedroom," Phil answered.

"There is only one," Wilbur pointed out. Phil thought for a moment and said,"We have an extra mattress so I can set up another bed in there!"

Techno gave up trying to convince the man not to keep them. Wilbur never had a problem in the first place, but just wanted to make sure they took everything into account.

"We got two more little brothers!" Wilbur said, excitedly.

"That's if they accept the offer."

Phil and Wilbur looked at Techno with a glare that could kill. Techno sighed and said,"I'm going to bed. Night."

And with that, the man made his way upstairs to turn in for the night. Phil watched as his son left, and then went into the backyard. Followed by Wilbur.

Phil walked up to the two boys, who were staring at the night sky. They heard approaching footsteps and turned to see who it was.

"Hey mates," Phil said, bending down to the kids' height. "Do you want to stay with us. We only have one extra bedroom but two beds so you'll have to share the room. But if you want to stay, you won't be intruding. Ranboo might want someone his age here and you kids shouldn't be on the streets with nothing."

Tommy and Tubbo looked between each other, expressions unreadable to everyone but each other. They then jumped on Phil and hugged him.

"Yes, yes, yes!" Tubbo repeated, starting to cry. Tommy didn't say anything, but he too was slightly crying.

Tommy and Tubbo never thought they would find a family that would actually want them. But here they are, in the arms of one.

Notes:

We got a nice little family! But if you know me, I can’t have nice things.

On a more serious note, you may have one or two more chapters of peace.

Side note: It may be a while till I update bc I’m going to be busy for a bit. I’m also getting my second Covid vaccine shot, so I’m most likely to get sick.

I again thank everyone for reading this. I literally thought I would get two reads. Being me and maybe a friend. I really appreciate it and it makes me so happy to see that people like this. (Y’all might not like it for much longer because I love me some angst)

Everyone stay safe and keep smiling!

Chapter 4: Mr. Boo, Your Room Is Quite a Mess

Summary:

Wilbur sighed as he sipped his coffee in the kitchen. He resisted the urge to find a cigarette.

He just wanted to have a peaceful morning before the kids woke up. Wilbur smiled as he took in the scent of his coffee. He was about to take another sip, when he heard a groan from behind him.

He turned around to see Tommy walking down the steps. Wilbur almost snorted seeing the blonde in one of techno's large night shirts. The shirt went almost past the kid's knees and the long sleeves of the shirt had swallowed his arms to where it was just floppy empty sleeves. He needs to remember to get clothes for Tommy and Tubbo.

Chapter Text

Dream walked into his apartment and collapsed onto the couch. He was met with silence and was confused for a moment.

Then he remembered why he was met with silence. Dream put his face in his pillow and screamed for a few minutes.

Sapnap moved out a month ago, due to Dream not treating Ranboo right. Dream had scoffed at that, saying him leaving wasn't making him any better than Dream.

Little did Dream know, was that Sapnap had been secretly helping Ranboo. Dream's manipulation wasn't working properly because of Sapnap.

And now, Ranboo had ran away. Luckily, the black and white haired kid never saw Dream's face. The porcelain mask would be recognizable, but his actual face would not.

However, Dream wouldn't even know where to start looking for the kid.

"Phil will literally be anyone's dad," Wilbur said,"He picked up a kid the other day. He says he's waiting for the kid to start talking to him and tell him where he lives, but we all know he's gonna keep him."

Dream knew of Ranboo's quietness. He didn't like to talk to people he didn't know and he was shy. Even when the kid was with people he was comfortable with, he was still more of a listener.

He also knew of Ranboo's memory issues. So maybe that was Dream's fault, but still. With a simple command or a snap of his fingers, Ranboo was in Dream's control.

He liked this. He wanted more. He wanted to do this to Tommy and Tubbo, and everyone else. He could do it to George. It's one of the reasons George is still Dream's friend.

Dream needs to pay Phil a visit. Maybe not today. Maybe not this week, but soon.

Dream didn't believe he was a bad person. But if anyone found out what happened to Ranboo... Dream would rather not think about it.

"Morning Tommy," Wilbur greeted the tired teen. The kid probably needed the sleep.

Tommy yawned and muttered,"Morning Wilby"

Wilbur choked on his coffee and took a few minutes to regain himself. "Did you just call me Wilby?"

"What?" Tommy said, a little angry. "No!"

"Did you just fucking call me Wilby?" Wilbur said, chest warming.

"No I didn't, bitch!" Tommy growled.

"Awww"

Tommy's ears were red and the blonde looked like he was gonna murder Wilbur if he kept this up.

Phil walked into the house from the back door, immediately stopping any murdering of Wilbur. Tommy looked to the man and said,"Phil?"

Phil hummed in response with a smirk, seeing the two boys.

"Why does Techno not have an accent like you and Wilbe... ur?" Tommy asked, catching himself on the nickname. Wilbur chuckled softly at Tommy, as the kid turned and glared at him.

"I don't know," Phil said. "He says he sounds better without it. There's not much difference."

Tommy nodded and then turned back to Wilbur. He looked a bit guilty and asked,"Is there anything I can eat?"

Wilbur stared at the boy, in shock, for a moment and said,"Of course! What would you like?"

Tommy looked shocked and confused and said,"Toast and apples?"

"We have that. You want me to make it?"

Tommy shook his head and said that he wanted to make it himself, if that was alright with Wilbur. Wil allowed the blonde the kitchen, hoping he won't burn the house down.

As the kid was making his breakfast, Phil noticed a marking on the kid's wrist.

"Wil?" Phil asked, starting to sound worried. Wilbur turned to Phil, who's eyes went wide.

"Dad?" Wilbur asked, quite worried for his father.

"What's that on Tommy's wrist?" Phil questioned. Wilbur mentally slapped himself.

Normal people really shouldn't know who the deadly sins were. It was somewhat ok if your family knew. However, Wilbur forgot to tell Phil who Tommy was.

"It's a... um, symbol of Pride," Wilbur answered, scratching the back of his neck.

"He's a sin?" Phil asked, still staring at Tommy. Wilbur nodded, a bit confused at his dad's shock. Phil was usually able to hide his emotions and go through life looking relaxed.

This wasn't what Wilbur was used to. Phil looked caught off guard. He looked as if his opponent pulled out a whole other chess piece. He was in pure shock.

The man eventually regained himself and nodded. He walked out of the room and went upstairs. Wilbur was confused by this, but only shrugged.

"Does Phil not like me anymore?" Tommy muttered. Wilbur whipped around to the blonde boy. Tommy was rolling an apple in his hands, looking down and defeated. The poor kid was sadly used to being rejected right when he thought he had a permanent home.

"No no," Wilbur reassured him, quickly. "He does. I think he just was caught off guard and shocked to see that you were a deadly sin. That's all."

Tommy nodded, looking more sure of himself and put his toast on a plate. He sat down and started eating his breakfast.

Tubbo and Techno eventually came down. Tubbo had Honey Nut Cheerios and Techno had some eggs. Techno then found out about Tommy being a sin, which he took pretty well.

At this point, everyone had come down. Everyone except some person named Ranboo. Tommy thought this Ranboo guy was being rude by not coming down. He decided to investigate.

While Techno was distracted by Tubbo ranting about bees and Wilbur was washing dishes, Tommy ran upstairs. He walked down a hallway to the room with the door shut.

It's the only room Phil didn't show Tubbo and Tommy the previous night. Tommy knocked on the door, and heard a thud and something fall. Tommy walked in, to see if everything was ok.

He was a bit shocked to see what was on the other side of the door.

The room was a mess. It didn't fit the clean and tidy house whatsoever. The bed sheets were thrown to different corners of the room. There were journals scattered everywhere. There was a pile of clothes in a corner and some food on a desk. There was a bag thrown in a beanbag chair and the room just looked like a bomb went off.

And in the corner of the room, was a boy. He had messy black and white hair. He had an oversized red hoodie on and was wearing jeans.

The boy was covering his ears and had his head in his knees. It seemed as if the boy was scared half to death, but looked like he was actually scared for his life.

"Hey," Tommy said, softly. "Are you ok?"

The boy looked up, with scared eyes. One of his eyes was a forest green while his other was an unnatural red. His face was streaked with tears, and he had a cut on his cheek.

Tommy looked around and grabbed an unopened water bottle. He carefully handed it to the boy, who took it gratefully.

He took a sip of it and set the bottle down next to him. He then started shaking his head.

"No."

Tommy was surprised that the boy actually talked to him. He sat on the floor, a few feet away from his and asked,"Why? Can I help?"

"I-" the boy started but then let out a shaky breath. "It's nothing I can tell you. He- I can't tell you, or anyone."

Tommy nodded, trying to make the boy feel comfortable. The blonde was very curious as to what this boy's story was, but he was obviously not in a good state of mind at the moment.

"Well, my name is Tommy. What's yours?" Tommy asked. The boy stared at Tommy for a second, carefully contemplating his next words.

"Ranboo. My name's Ranboo."

***

Somewhere, out in town. A man with dirty blonde hair and green eyes smiled.

The man across the street, his old roommate, was the only one who saw the smile. And he knew that everyone was fucked.

Notes:

Sorry for the wait, but I was doin shit. Ok but 1455 words. Actually, that no longer looks like a large number.

Anyways, I really hoped you guys enjoyed the chapter. I had made a bullet list of all important plot points, but I forgot about it.

I don’t know what was going through my mind at the time but I’m gonna fix it because a person can only take so much angst.

Thank you all for the support and I really appreciate all of it! The number keeps going up and I might actually cry. DONT MAKE ME CRY!

Anyways. Love you all! Drink water, eat food, and smile. I’m gonna go do all those now!

Chapter 5: Benchtrio Gets Dino Hoodies

Summary:

Tommy wished whatever his imagination came up with was what happened. He's rather be seeing a story about a horrible train crash killing everyone on board. He'd rather see a story of how the apocalypse has started. He'd rather see a story on how one of his friends went missing or was seriously injured.

But this...

Chapter Text

Phil, Wilbur, and Techno took Tubbo and Tommy shopping for more clothes. Phil refused to let another day go by with the boys living in oversized nightshirts and dirty clothes.

Phil had asked the boys to go take a shower. Tommy tried to protest on how there was only one bathroom.

"There's three!" Wilbur exclaimed. Tubbo hopped into a shower, grateful to finally be clean, while Wilbur dragged Tommy to another bathroom and wouldn't let him out until he took one.

They were there for five hours.

But finally the blonde took the shower and changed into his old clothes, which Phil had washed and patched up as best as he could.

Tubbo got lots of green shirts, yellow and red hoodies, jeans, and a green dinosaur hoodie. Tommy got lots of red and white shirts, different colored hoodies, jeans, and a red dinosaur hoodie.

And when no one was looking, Tommy bought a black dinosaur hoodie for Ranboo.

***

Tommy continued to visit Ranboo, despite Phil telling the blonde not to bother the boy. Ranboo didn't talk too much, but he was nice company. He also really appreciated the Dino hoodie, even though it was three sizes too large.

He listened to when Tommy would rant, and he didn't seem to mind the fact that Tommy was Pride.

"You're not the first sin I've meet," Ranboo chuckled at the shock faced Tommy made.

"Really?" Tommy said. Ranboo's face immediately dropped and he started to hyperventilate.

Tommy handed Ranboo his water, having to do this every visit, and Ranboo took it gratefully. Tommy never knew what would trigger one of Ranboo's panic attacks, so he tried to be really careful.

It was hard though. So many things would trigger a panic attack and it made Tommy really worried for Ranboo. The boy obviously had trauma and he obviously needed help.

But Ranboo hated to feel like he was inconveniencing anyone.

"I'm fine," Ranboo sighed after Tommy mentioned asking for help.

"Man, people get paid to help people like you. You would be helping them," Tommy explained.

Ranboo just shook his head and said,"I'm fine. I don't even need help. I'm just... uhhh. Ya, I don't need help."

Tommy rolled his eyes. He wanted to help Ranboo, but the man wouldn't even leave his room!

That's the first thing Tommy needed to do. He needed to save Ranboo from the smelly and messy square that was the boy's room.

"Ranboo? Do you ever leave this room?" Tommy asked. Ranboo shook his head and smiled weakly. Tommy shook his head in disappointment.

"Ok, that's a lie. You've been here for about a week. How do you get your food in? How do you not smell? How do you take shits?" Tommy interrogated, being overdramatic.

Ranboo's eyes widened, and he became unresponsive. Tommy thought he sent Ranboo into another panic attack, before the boy busted out laughing.

Tommy was taken aback for a moment. He had never seen Ranboo laugh. The most he's gotten out a Ranboo was a small smile or a light chuckle.

But Ranboo was being somewhat loud and fucking laughing!

Tommy smiled widely, seeing his new friend laugh. Ranboo calmed down, but kept a small smile on his face.

"Fine, I rarely leave my room," Ranboo sighed. Tommy nodded, pleased with his victory.

The blonde laid down on his back, and stared at the ceiling. He thought for a moment and then said,"You should meet everyone else. I know you've met them, but you should talk to them. Get to know them. They're nice. Wilbur has anger issues and can be a bitch. Philza is amazing. He is the only man ever and sometime I call him Dadza. Techno doesn't talk too much, but he's really pog. He has weapons and he knows how to stab people that hurt people he cares about. And Tubbo is our age. He acts all innocent, but I'm sure he would nuke the neighborhood if given the chance."

Ranboo considered this for a moment and the responded,"I might come down one day. I'm just scared they'll ask me about my previous living arrangements."

Tommy looked over at Mr. Boo and saw him playing with his hands.

"I'm also scared that they won't like me."

Tommy groaned in anger and propped himself up on his elbows.

"Ok listen. Ranboo, you are nice and fun and a very pog person. If they don't like you then we're either gonna hold 'em at gunpoint or pack our bags and leaving. Though Tubbo would have to come too, but he would love you."

Tommy glared at Ranboo, until the boy sighed. "Fine."

"YES!" Tommy sat up and started doing a little excited dance.

"Can we go down now?" Tommy asked.

"Well..." Ranboo said, rather uncomfortable to the idea.

"Pwease? I'm using puppy dog eyes on you," Tommy asked, using puppy dog eyes.

Ranboo sighed and through his hands up. "Fine. Can't resist the puppy dog eyes." Tommy smiled excitedly and Ranboo chuckled at his friend's excitement.

Ranboo grabbed fingerless gloves and pulled them on. He then grabbed the black dino hoodie, and threw it over his white t-shirt.

Ranboo then slowly followed Tommy to the door, which the blonde opened and said,"After you."

Ranboo hesitantly walked out of the room. He pulled his hood up and watched as Tommy walked out of the room. They then headed for the stairs.

"They then descended the stairs," Tommy muttered, using a commentator voice. Ranboo chuckled and followed Tommy down the stairs. They walked into the kitchen, but no one was there.

"Maybe they're in the living room," Tommy suggested. They headed for another room and there they were.

The tv was on and they were watching the Bee Movie, obviously Tubbo's request. Tubbo sat in the middle of the floor, laying on his stomach and his hands underneath his chin. Phil was sat in an armchair, bucket hat off for once, and he was drinking coffee. Techno sat on one side of the couch, while Wilbur sat on the other.

All their back were facing the two boys who entered the room, unnoticed. There was enough room between the twins for two people to fit. Tommy jumped over the couch and sat upside down. The men looked at the blonde, confusion and amusement written on their faces.

"What took you so long up there?" Techno asked.

"Just talking to Mr. Boo here," Tommy answered.

"Talking to who?" Phil asked. Suddenly all eyes were on Ranboo.

Everyone had shocked looks on their face to see Ranboo downstairs. But then, Phil whipped his head to Tommy.

"You were talking to him?" The man asked. Tommy nodded.

"How long?"

"My first morning, after breakfast."

"Tommy-"

"What? Am I in trouble?!?"

Phil sighed, clearly not having the energy to deal with the child. He turned back to Ranboo and said,"It's nice to see you down here. Please sit down. You need anything?"

Ranboo just stood still for a moment, then looked to Tommy. Tommy rolled his eyes and sat up. He motioned for Ranboo to sit down. Ranboo walked around the couch and sat down on the couch.

This landed him between Tommy and a man with pink hair, Techno.

"Techno has pink hair. Wilbur is the bitch in the yellow sweatshirt. Phil is the old man usually wearing a bucket hat. And Tubbo is the brown haired kid our age," Tommy quickly explained. Ranboo nodded, and then turned his attention to the movie.

***

It was a strange movie. Ranboo didn't even know how to explain it.

Tubbo seemed way too into the idea of overthrowing authority. Techno as well.

But it just got scary when Wilbur mentioned explosives.

"No, we can't go around bombing government buildings," Phil sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"But why?" Tubbo asked.

"Because you will end up in jail, and most likely hurt innocent people," Phil sighed.

"But we need to get rid of the tyrants, Phil!" Techno exclaimed.

"Via la révolution!" Wilbur shouted. Tommy started dying laughing and Ranboo chuckled. He smiled at Tubbo and Tommy laughing on the floor. Techno smirking while leaning against the couch. Wilbur also laughing really hard, try not to fall off the couch. And Phil chuckling at the boy's shenanigans.

Ya. These people were alright.

***

Phil decided to make dinner after a few hours of everyone just sitting down and talking. Techno then decided to do "training".

Wilbur said he was going for a walk.

"Wilbur, empty your pockets," Tommy demanded.

"Tommy," Wilbur said,"Why? What are you accusing me of?!?"

"If you have nothing to hide, why aren't you just emptying your pockets?" Tommy questioned.

"Because I do have some personal things in my pockets I don't want your gremlin fingers touching," Wilbur exclaimed.

"Smoker say what," Tubbo muttered.

"What?" Wilbur asked.

"EMPTY YOUR FUCKING POCKETS BITCH BOY OR I WILL POUNCE!" Tommy shouted. Wilbur held his hands up in surrender and emptied his pockets.

"Wil, Wil, Wil," Tommy tsked. The blonde picked up a small box with three cigarettes in it. He then picked up a small lighter and shook his head in disappointment.

"That's not what you think!" Wilbur exclaimed.

"Oh? Are these for Schlatt, Quackity, and Fundy? And will you be committing arson with this lighter?" Tommy interrogated.

Wilbur rolled his eyes and sighed. "Fine, those were for me."

Tommy pocketed the cigarettes and lighter and said,"I shall be throwing these out and we will buy you therapy."

"Or he could get nicotine patches or something," Tubbo suggested.

"Or that!" Tommy declared. Ranboo chuckled and stood up.

"I'll be right back," the boy said, and headed upstairs.

As soon as Ranboo was out of ear shot, Tubbo said,"I like him!"

"In which way?" Tommy asked.

"He seems cool. He may try to be a chaos killer, but he seems fun to be around. But I think he would commit tax fraud with me!" Tubbo shruggs.

"Why are you so determined to end up in jail?" Wilbur asked.

"That's the price you pay for looking innocent, but having the mind of a demonic goat." Tommy said.

"I wouldn't say demonic goat," Tubbo muttered.

"Then a bee on crack."

Wilbur finally threw his arms up and walked out of the room. Tubbo grabbed the remote and went to turn something on when there was a loud crash from the kitchen.

Tommy and Tubbo turned their attention to Techno and Ranboo racing downstairs and the four ran to the kitchen.

Phil was standing around shattered glass with a horrified expression on his face. But he wasn't looking at the floor.

The old man held his phone in his hand eyes terrified at whatever was on the screen.

"Phil?" Techno asked, creeping towards his father.

"Techno?" Phil gasped, looking up at his son.

"What's wrong dad?"

Phil just looked down at the floor, finally realizing the mess. He handed Techno his phone and started cleaning up the broken glass.

When Techno read what was on the phone. His eyes went wide.

"WIL!" Techno roared.

Wilbur walked into the kitchen, confused about the commotion.

"What's up?" Wilbur asked.

"Read this," Techno demanded, handing Wilbur the phone. Wilbur looked between everyone and then looked down at the phone.

His eyes scanned over the contents and his eyes widened into a mixture of shock and fear.

The man ran out of the room, everyone following.

"What's going on?" Tommy asked, genuinely worried as he gripped onto Tubbo's hand.

Nobody answered the blonde, but instead watched as Wilbur turned on the tv.

He went to the news channel and paused on a story the tv was covering.

Tommy wished whatever his imagination came up with was what happened. He's rather be seeing a story about a horrible train crash killing everyone on board. He'd rather see a story of how the apocalypse has started. He'd rather see a story on how one of his friends went missing or was seriously injured.

But this...

This was much worse.

Chapter 6: They All Make an Oopsie

Summary:

Tommy's face twisted in anger. He knew he shouldn't be doing what he's doing. He should be at home, eating whatever the fuck Philza made.

He should be joking with Ranboo and Tubbo. He should be annoying Wilbur and Techno. He should be doing literally anything than what Wilbur said.

Chapter Text

Tommy wished that he was dreaming. But this was a living nightmare.

"It is confirmed that the myth of the Seven Deadly Sins being born into seven different people is true. Sources say that each person has a marking on their wrist and when one of them die, they are either reborn or become a plague to the rest of the human kind."

Wilbur gripped the couch so tightly, Techno thought it would break. Techno rested a hand on his Twin's shoulder, which eased the tension.

Tommy and Tubbk were holding each other's hands, while Ranboo had his arms around the two. Philza, was trying to keep his breaths even.

"An anonymous source tells how all seven know each other and have had frequent meetings on how they are going to, quote-on-quote 'punish man kind'."

"What the fuck?!?" Tommy shouted. Why do pretty women deliver bad news?

"Who the fuck sold us out?" Wilbur growled, an unspoken promise of revenge radiating of of him.

Philza was twisting his hands. His boys were in trouble. His family was in trouble. The other sins were in trouble. Their friends and families were in trouble.

The man started to get angry. Who ever sold them out would pay.

"Ok, first," Tommy said. "Calm down, Big Man, your wrath is really taking a toll on you right now."

"Well I would expect you to be walking up to the news station right now confirming who you are," Wilbur growled at the blonde.

Tommy took a step back, slightly shocked at the man's anger now directed to him. The blonde looked like he was just slapped in the face.

"Listen here bitch boy," Tommy snarled,"I am very open and take pride in everything I fucking do. But little did you know, I do have insecurities. And sometimes I hate taking pride. And guess what? I fucking hate being Pride! It's not as great as you think, seeming not to be insecure about a single thing. No! I fucking put up an act to seem all prideful in every action. And I just want to be shy for once! I would rather feel envy sometimes! Sometime I wish I could be Wrath! And every night I curse out god for making me Pride. But at the same time, I would never wish this fate on anyone else."

And with that, Tommy stomped out of the house. Tubbo tried to stop him, but nothing was gonna stop the blonde. Everyone watched him go, too afraid to go after him.

Wilbur walked outside and just sat in the front yard. Techno leaned against a wall, fiddling with his braid. Ranboo and Tubbo sat themselves on the couch and stayed there in silence. It was comforting, but also tense.

Philza turned off the TV. He went into the kitchen and finished up dinner.

When it was done, he sat the plates down and told everyone the food was ready. He wasn't gonna push anyone to actually go to the table.

He walked outside and sat down beside Wilbur. He felt the grass beneath him, and looked around quickly. None of the neighbors could be seen, and those who could, well they were doing what they normally were.

"Tommy took your last pack of cigarettes?" Phil asked.

"I- uh... what?" Wilbur stuttered.

"Don't think I didn't know," Phil sighed. "It was calming you, and I hoped you would stop on your own. You're also an adult. I was more strict about it when you were under 18."

"I was a fool to think you didn't know," Wilbur chuckled. "I really upset Tommy, didn't I?"

"It's not your fault, mate," Phil comforted. "The kid just had a lot of built up emotion and it just all burst out at you."

"I don't know where he went," Wilbur sighed, looking out in the direction Tommy went.

"He'll be back," Phil said,"We're having takeout from McDonald's."

"I thought you were making dinner," Wilbur asked.

"Yes but I lied to seem like I am a father who makes dinner," Phil said.

Wilbur chuckled and the two men stood up. They headed inside and ate dinner with everyone else. There wasn't much conversation, and everyone kept glancing to the empty seat at the table.

***

"Well I would expect you to be walking up to the news station right now confirming who you are," Wilbur growled at the blonde.

But it was too late, because here he was, at the news station.

It was fucking chaos inside. Reporters running around and Tommy almost broke a camera. He got looks from people as they ran by.

There was a women just sitting around, writing notes in her notepad. Tommy walked up to her, and cleared his throat.

"Can I help you?" She deadpanned, clearly not in the mood to talk to anyone.

"Where can I go to give information about the whole deadly sins situation?" Tommy asked.

The women pointed to a reporter talking to a man wearing a weird outfit.

"Thank you!" Tommy said, and walked over to her.

The women caught sight of the young blonde and turned to him with a questioning look on her face.

The woman had burgundy hair and forest green eyes. She had tanned skin and was wearing a female business suit. Her hair was pulled into a tight ponytail, which looked quite painful to Tommy.

He ran a hand through his hair and said,"I have information about the deadly sins."

The reporter perked up and the man beside her stiffened.

"That's great! Follow me!"

The woman lead Tommy to a room and they sat on opposite sides of the table.

"So what do you have for us, sweetheart?" The woman asked, pulling out a notepad.

"I would just like to clarify, the deadly sins have no intentions of 'punishing humanity'. And I literally have no fucking clue what the whole deal is with the whole death thing. Though it does seem accurate. Also, their meetings aren't to make evil plans and whatnot. It's more like a book club. They all come together and talk about things they can't really talk about with anyone else."

"And how do you know this?" The woman asked, still copying down everything Tommy said.

"Well I would expect you to be walking up to the news station right now confirming who you are."

"I'm Pride," Tommy said, showing the woman the mark on his wrist.

Chapter 7: Sleep? Don’t Know Her

Summary:

Wil is gonna kill me, Tommy thought. Techno is gonna kill me. Phil's gonna kill me. Tubbo will nuke me. Dream will murder me.

Tommy just hoped the others were doing ok.

***

The others were not doing ok.

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Tommy will admit, he's done stupid things in the past. He's broke into buildings during storms to escape the rain. He's pick pocketed before. And he's done so many incredibly stupid things, that Tubbo has a list.

But this, this was going to end at the very top of the list.

Tommy sat in a dull room. He wasn't allowed to leave, and he didn't even know where the building was.

After revealing his identity, the man in the strange uniform, who had been talking to the woman before, took him away. They loaded him into a truck and he couldn't escape or see where he was going.

He had his hands tied and a bag over his head, so he couldn't do anything. But Tommy's best guess was that he was being taken to some government facility.

Wil is gonna kill me, Tommy thought. Techno is gonna kill me. Phil's gonna kill me. Tubbo will nuke me. Dream will murder me.

Tommy just hoped the others were doing ok.

***

The others were not doing ok.

Dream had called a meeting for the sins. They had to change the meeting spot, which took an hour for everyone to get there.

"Ok," Dream sighed. "What the fuck happened?"

Everyone looked between each other, not knowing how the information got out.

"Well, if we don't know what happened then we'll have to figure that out first," Dream exclaimed. He closed his eyes and let himself fall into a chair behind him.

Everyone felt a bit discomfort of just seeing the mask and not being able to see their friend's face. But no one spoke up.

"How's everyone doing then?" Dream asked.

"Well I wear long sleeves and don't have to hide the marking from my fiancés because they already knew and don't care,"Quackity said. "Though I'm just gonna have to be more careful in the casino."

"Good," Dream sighed. "Schlatt?"

Schlatt was drinking coffee instead of alcohol for once and chugged the rest before answering.

"I have no other friends and the only other person who might know about me is my sister, Puffy, but she's on a trip with her girlfriend," Schlatt explained.

"You're my only friends and I don't have a job," George mumbled from his part of the couch. He was making an effort to stay awake, which everyone appreciated.

"I quit my job bc my co-workers have seen the mark and I just told them it was a tattoo," Fundy yawned.

It was two in the morning, but this was urgent and everyone understood that.

"Nobody outside of you guys or my family knows," Wilbur said.

"I rarely leave my apartment," Dream said,"And the two people who used to live with me won't tell."

"Tommy?"

Everyone looked to Wilbur who had closed his eyes.

"Wilbur?" Dream said. "Where is Tommy?"

"He kinda stormed out of the house when I got angry at him," Wilbur explained. "And then he didn't come back. Phil and Techno are out looking for him."

"What about Tubbo? Has he been anywhere?" Dream asked.

"No. And besides, Tubbo wouldn't tell. He cares too much about Tommy and is too kind to actually report us to a News Station," Wilbur answered.

Dream was still suspicious of the brunette kid, but wouldn't push the matter.

"Ok ok," Dream sighed. "We need a plan of action. I'll call for a different time and place we can meet up tomorrow and discuss this. Hopefully Tommy will be back."

Everyone stood up to leave and Dream watched them all go. Hopefully they would be alright. But he also smiled underneath the mask. He had them in his control.

The conflict in Dream's head would be his downfall.

***

Wilbur walked through the front door and Tubbo and Ranboo immediately ran for him.

"Did you find him? Have you heard from Phil or Techno? What's happening? Did you find anything out from the other sins? What-" Tubbo interrogated, but was cut short by Wilbur.

"Kid, chill. I just got home and I'm tired. You two should be asleep but calm down first with the questions," Wilbur said. "I haven't seen Tommy since he stormed off. I haven't heard from Phil or Tech. I'm just as confused as you. All the other sins are just as confused as us and that's it."

Tubbo's shoulders sagged and walked deeper into the house. Ranboo started twisting his hands and followed Tubbo and Wilbur to the kitchen.

"You two should really get some sleep," Wilbur said. Tubbo plopped himself on top of the kitchen counter and Ranboo leaned against a wall.

"I don't think either of us could sleep without knowing Tommy's safe," Ranboo said.

"And who in their right mind goes to bed before two?!?" Tubbo exclaimed.

"Everyone!" Wilbur responded, pulling a cold pizza slice out of the fridge.

"But I'm not..." Tubbo started, but ended up yawning. "Well fuck."

"Go to sleep children," Wilbur sighed, taking a bite from the pizza slice.

Tubbo didn't move and Ranboo looked nervously between the two brunettes.

"How about when Phil and Techno come back, we all go to bed," Ranboo resolved. It was a reasonable solutions so the other two agreed to the terms.

They all sat in the living room, watching the news. Nothing much about the sins was being covered so it was more of background sound.

Wilbur, Tubbo, and Ranboo were all ready to jump and run if they heard the door open. They sat till 4 in the morning waiting for Phil and Techno to get back.

Wilbur was watching Ranboo with curiosity as he drank coffee. Tubbo had dozed off on Ranboo and the boy was trying to either make him comfortable or get him off. It looked like he was still deciding what to do.

Wilbur chuckled as Ranboo puffed out a bit of air, so some of his hair flew out of his face. The boy decided to let Tubbo sleep on him.

That's when Wil noticed the hoodies. He knew that Tommy and Tubbo got matching hoodies, but he didn't realize one of them got Ranboo a black matching one. All three of the boys must be wearing them now.

Tubbo and Ranboo had theirs on, and Tommy stormed out with it on. Tubbo started to wake up after a bit and that when they finally heard it.

The door opened. It was either the sound of a breath of relief or a sigh of anguish.

The three leaped up and ran to the front door. They slide to a stop when they only saw Phil and Techno standing there.

"Where's Tommy?" Tubbo asked.

"We looked everywhere we were legally allowed to check," Phil sighed. "But we could t find him."

"And sadly, we found his phone in someone's yard so we can't track him or call him or anything," Techno explained.

"Oh," Tubbo muttered. Tubbo pulled up his hood and wrapped his arms around himself. It was so unbelievably cute and depressing at the same time. "I guess I'm gonna head upstairs."

Tubbo bolted for the stairs and ran up to his room, Ranboo closely behind. Phil, Techno, and Wilbur watched the two boys leave.

"What are we going to do?" Wilbur whispered.

"We could call the police and hope they don't notice his mark?" Phil suggested.

"I think that's our best hope," Techno deadpanned. The three men headed to their bedrooms upstairs and fell asleep.

***

Little could be said about Tubbo and Ranboo.

Ranboo followed Tubbo up the stairs and into Tubbo and Tommy's room. Tubbo opened the door and fell onto one of the beds.

"I'm gonna change into some pajamas," Tubbo muttered from where his face was in his pillow. Ranboo left Tubbo alone to change. And he himself changed as well.

After Ranboo was done, he walked back to Tubbo's room and went in. Tubbo was in bee themed pajamas and sitting on a bed with red sheets.

"Is this your bed?" Ranboo asked, looking between the two. He's never been in Tommy and Tubbo's room.

"Nah, this is Tommy's. Mine has green sheets," Tubbo said. Tubbo and Tommy had been living with Phil, Wilbur, Techno, and Ranboo for nearly a week now so there were now a few things to make the room look nice and a tad decorated.

On Tubbo's side, there was the green bed, a night stand and a bookshelf. There were a few books on bookshelf and a few bee plushies. On the nightstand was a digital clock, a journal, and a framed picture of a younger Tommy and Tubbo together.

On Tommy's side, there was the red bed, a night stand and a dresser. There were six drawers, three for Tommy and three for Tubbo. There was a cow plush, a stack of cds, and a framed picture of a blond woman and a blonde baby in her arms.

Tubbo laid in Tommy's bed and put his face in the pillow. Ranboo sat on the bed next to Tubbo and let his new friend cry. Ranboo eventually pulled Tubbo into a hug, which the brunette hugged him back. Tubbo cried himself to sleep. Ranboo laid Tubbo down gently, and snuck back to his room.

The multi-colored hair boy laid down in his bed and drifted off to sleep.

Somewhere else, Tommy looked around the completely gray room to find only a bed, a bucket, a clock, and a door where food would be slide through.

Tommy laid down on the bed and definitely didn't cry. He did this to himself. He just wanted to go home to his friends, to his... brothers. He wanted to hug Phil. He wanted to tease Wilbur and Techno. He wanted to joke with Tubbo and Ranboo.

Tommy eventually fell asleep, scared of what the next day would bring.

Summary:

"Fucking hell man, fine. My full name is Big Man TommyInnit. I am a minor, but not a child. And I'm fucking Pride, man."

"I'll sue you."

Chapter Text

Phil was the first awake, as usual. Or at least the first person to go downstairs.

He made himself a cup of coffee and grabbed some bread. He then moved to the sofa and turned on the tv.

Phil could barely get sleep from the sins being exposed and not being able to find Tommy. He kept checking his phone and watching news updates to make sure if anything became a life or death situation for his family.

Phil turned to the news channel, and watched as a woman started talking about the sins.

"The sins may not be dangerous, but no one knows what they are capable of. If you know anyone who could possibly be a sin, contact us immediately. If you don't and we find you harboring a sin, consequences will be serious. This is now become national security and is in government interest-”

"Fuck you!" Phil shouted, drawing out the u.

"Can we destroy the government now?" Techno questioned, plopping down on an armchair.

"Jesus Christ, mate. Don't sneak up on me like that," Phil said. "And no we can not."

"Eh, worth a shot," Techno deadpanned.

"We have been unable to locate Pride, Greed, Wrath, Envy, Lust, Gluttony, and Sloth. But we do have an insider giving us information. They refuse to say anything about any of the sins... and wait!

Phil and Techno looked between each other in alarm.

"I just got an update, we have Pride in our custody and we are just asking them questions so the people can feel safe. No harm is coming to them and later tonight I will be interviewing them."

"Fuck!"

***

"Quackity!" Karl shouted, chasing Quackity down the hall. "You can't just leave!"

"I have to! Me being here is putting you two at risk!" Quackity protested.

"We don't care," SapNap said. "We care about you and we would go to the ends of the earth for you."

"That's sweet, but I can't ask that of you." Quackity said, throwing random items into a bag. "I can stay in hiding with Fundy until this whole thing blows over."

"Nooooooo," Karl whined, rapping his arms around Quackity. "Don't goooooo!"

"I don't want to go-"

"Then don't!" SapNap yelled, throwing his arms up.

"Guys, I love you but I can't put you in anymore danger," Quackity explained. "Listen. I care about you guys so much and it would just be the best if I went into hiding for a bit."

SapNap looked between Karl and Quackity and looked down, playing with his ring. Karl looked at Quackity, but knew the choice was already made.

"Don't be gone for too long," Karl sighed. The three moved into a hug, holding onto each other tightly.

"I won't miss our wedding," Quackity mumbled, hoping he could stick to his promise.

***

They've got Tommy. Fucking hell, they've got Tommy. They have a blonde demon in their possession.

Wilbur's thoughts spiraled out of control to the point where he got dizzy

"Wilbur, take a seat mate. It looks like you're gonna faint," Phil said, concern in his voice.

Wilbur sat down and put his face in his hands. They've got Tommy, and it was all Wilbur's fault.

"What are we going to do?" Techno asked, hoping for someone to have an idea.

But no one spoke up. Tubbo was still in shock, Ranboo went extremely quiet, Phil was distressed, and Wilbur was having a mid-life crisis.

"Will Tommy be ok?" Ranboo finally asked.

Phil, Techno, and Wilbur looked to each other. "I hope so," Phil sighed, sitting back into a chair.

They all stayed in silence, when suddenly Tubbo bolted upstairs.

"Tubbo?"  Techno asked. A few minutes later, Tubbo came down with a laptop and sat on the couch next to Wilbur.

"What are you doing?" Wilbur asked.

"Shut up for a moment," Tubbo snapped. Everyone stayed quiet as Tubbo furiously typed.

"AHA!" Tubbo shouted, face lighting up with excitement.

"What is it?" Phil asked, getting up to walk over to Tubbo.

"There's going to be a news interview tonight with Tommy," Tubbo said. "If we call the news station and tell them we have information, maybe I can trace some phone calls and get his location."

"That's smart, but how?" Techno asked, folding his arms and his brow furrowing with confusion.

"If there's one thing I'm good at, it's chaos and hacking," Tubbo smirked.

"That's two things," Ranboo muttered.

"Do you wanna go, Boo?" Tubbo challenged, turning to face Ranboo.

"I'm a foot taller than you," Ranboo said.

"And I can easily downsize you," Tubbo deadpanned. He raised his eyebrows, waiting for a response.

"I- umm. O-oh, ok," Ranboo stuttered, backing away from the small brunette.

"What if tracing calls leads to something you can't access?" Wilbur asked.

"You mean government protected shit? Ya, they can't hide things from me," Tubbo chuckled. "We're gonna get Tommy back."

***

"I fucking hate the government."

Tommy was still left to just waste away in a dull room. He longed to throw something, or see something other than gray.

Tommy was gonna loose his mind. He hadn't been fed yet and was starting to get claustrophobic.

"Why did I think this was a good idea?"

"Hello?"

"HELLO?!" Tommy shouted at some voice.

"Please state your full name, age, and sin." The voice said.

"Uhh, no." Tommy yelled back.

"Listen, I don't have all day so if you don't talk to me now, government officials who aren't so nice will come in there and make you cooperate."

"Fucking hell man, fine. My full name is Big Man TommyInnit. I am a minor, but not a child. And I'm fucking Pride, man."

"Sir, take this more seriously or there will be consequences."

"I'll sue you."

"State your real name, real age, and what sin you are."

"Fine bitch. My name is Tommy Innit, I'm sixteen years of age, and I am Pride. That good enough for you dickhead?" Tommy growled.

"Yes. One more question."

"Make it quick."

"Who are the other sins?"

"I'm not telling you shit about them." Tommy crossed his arms and held his head high.

"We have more ways than one for finding out who they are. Trust me, this way will get you and your family hurt the least."

"I'm not telling you."

"Think about it, I'll be back tomorrow."

And with that, the voice was gone. Tommy screamed at the top of his lungs. He screamed until his voice went hoarse. He screamed until he could feel tears sliding down his face.

After a few hours, Tommy eventually calmed down and sat on the bed. He needed to come up with a plan.

Tonight, they were going to interview him. He can find a way to contact Tubbo and he would be able to find out where he is.

"Letters and numbers go together. You can form sentences with only numbers, like a computer. It's like a code."

Tommy needed to find out where and what this place is and say those numbers on tv. If Tommy messed up, he's fucking screwed.

Chapter 9: Egg Demon Do Be a Knockin

Summary:

"What's up?" Wilbur asked to the room. Fundy was lying on the floor, next to the fire place. Quackity plopped into an armchair and pulled his beanie over his face. Schlatt sat under the coffee table, covering his ears and shaking his head. George was chugging a cup of coffee, his body vibrating. And Dream stood by a window, looking out to the forest.

"Wilbur," Dream sighed. "Where is Tommy?"

Chapter Text

Tommy was jolted awake by the door of the room opening. Tommy would have bolted to the door, but he didn't have the energy to get up.

"Here is your food," A man in an army uniform said, setting down a tray with a bowl of oatmeal.

"You starve me for a day and a half and all I get is a small bowl of oatmeal?" Tommy asked, a bit of a whine in his voice.

"I'm sure this isn't as much as you usually get in your palace or mansion, but-" the man said, but Tommy cut him off with laughter. The man made a confused face and tilted his head.

"You really think the sins all live in their own palaces?" Tommy asked. "Where the fuck do you think we get all that money?"

"Souls and people who's lives you've ruined?"

"Ok, listen here prick. The sins are just normal everyday people." Tommy said. "I live on the streets, and I don't eat everyday. Life for us isn't glorious as one might think, and we don't ruin people's lives. We just try to live our own, burdened with a marking and a curse."

"What do you mean by curse?" The man asked.

"I'm Pride. But that doesn't mean I make people prideful. It means that I have no choice but to take pride in every single action. I'm forced to be prideful, instead of cursing others to be prideful."

The man nodded his head and started to leave. Tommy got up and walked forward.

"Wait!" Tommy exclaimed, causing the man to turn around. "Can you tell me what this place is?" Tommy laced his voice with begging and innocence, trying to make the man sympathetic.

He sighed and said,"You're at a secret government facility that people like to call 'government bunker 12'."

And the man left. Tommy walked back to his food and started eating it slowly, savoring every bite.

***

Wilbur walked up to the cabin and knocked on the door slowly three times, then knocked fast for five times.

The door opened, and Quackity stood on the other side.

"You good man?" Wilbur asked. Quackity wiped away a tear and nodded. Wilbur walked into the cabin and found people sitting in the living room.

Wilbur sat down on a stool and pretended not to hear Dream. Dream turned to Wilbur, anger radiating off of him.

"Wilbur, when we're you going to tell us Tommy was in government hands?" Dream asked. The masked man leaned against a wall, arms crossed.

"I didn't know till this morning when the news announced it," Wilbur sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "I will be getting gray hairs from this."

"You do realize all of us, plus our friends and families, are in danger now that the government has Tommy," Dream growled.

"You think I don't know that?!" Wilbur shouted. "Tommy and I already had to be looking over our shoulders, but now... so does my dad, and my brother, and Tubbo, and Ranboo! None of us know if we've been exposed yet and we are terrified."

"Wilbur you have no idea what this means for us!" Dream shouted back. "You have to be more on guard, but just wait till you see Tommy tonight on tv or if you get captured."

"I've already had to leave my fiancés," Quackity sniffed from his armchair.

"I had to quit my job," Fundy muttered, sitting up.

"My sister and her fiancé aren't coming back so they can stay safe, while I started working from home," Schlatt said, having to get out from under the table and walk into the cabin's kitchen.

"Nothing much has changed for me. I just have to act like we're sick or something," George said, having just finished another cup of coffee.

"Dream, we're all dealing with this and doing our best!" Wilbur exclaimed. "Just chill out!"

"Wilbur-" Fundy started, but got caught off by Dream.

"How did the fucking government get Tommy in the first place?!?" Dream shouted.

"Like I told you last time!" Wilbur shouted back. "He ran out of the house and we couldn't find him!"

"Why did he leave though?!"

"Because he was upset about this whole situation!"

"Why don't I believe you?”

Dream and Wilbur glared at each other, neither backing down.

"What did you do Wil?" Schlatt asked.

Wilbur deflated and sat down on the couch. He put his face in his hands and screamed.

"Wilbur, we need to trust each other with the truth," Fundy said, walking to sit next to Wilbur.

"I think my exact words to Tommy were 'well I would expect you to be walking up to the news station right now confirming who you are' and then Tommy snapped."

"Holy fuck dude," Schlatt snorted. "You fucked up."

"Schlatt, not a good time," Quackity growled. Schlatt rolled his eyes and muttered something under his breath that the others couldn't hear.

"I'm such a dick and I fucked up," Wilbur sighed. He started messing with his hair, and twisting his hands.

"You did fuck up Wil, but also Tommy shouldn't have gone," Dream said.

"It wouldn't even be a problem in the first place if we were never exposed," George yawned.

Dream nodded his head and said,"Which is why we need to find our leak."

"Tommy is going to be interviewed on live television, maybe he'll try to contact us through that?" Fundy suggested.

"Actually, apparently Tubbo and Tommy have their own way of communicating and Tubbo can hack into government shit," Wilbur explained. "After tonight, we should know where the blonde gremlin is."

***

"We are keeping our source anonymous, correct?" the young man said.

"Skeppy, if their information gets out so many people's lives are at stake," Bad said, calmly. "Their threat was very clear."

"Maybe we should just go over it with Antfrost one more time?" Skeppy asked, his hold on the clipboard tightening.

"You can bring it up with him, but he feels the same as I," Bad said, looking through a window to a cell. "Can he see us?"

"No sir," a young man, with a face covering, said. "It's only one way. We can see him, he can't see us."

"Good," Bad smiled. "What was your name again?"

"Ponk, sir."

Bad smiled and nodded his head. He looked into the cell of a man with green hair and a gas mask on.

"How long until his research is done?" Bad asked.

"I don't know," Ponk said. "He trusts me, but only gives Hannah details about his experiments."

"Well maybe because their cell mates," Skeppy scoffed.

"It's only a matter of time till he's done," Bad said smoothly. "When he is, we can take his research to government bunker 12 and test on our first subject. Our source will be pleased."

Chapter 10: Gov Bunker 12

Summary:

"7-15-22," Tommy whispered to himself. "2-21-14-11-5-18 12”

"Numbers. Codes. I have to contact Tubbo."

The blonde continued humming the Able Sisters, until he heard the door open. The same man from before came in, but had one other person.

"Stand up and come with us," the other person said. Tommy did as he was told, too weak to do anything else.

Chapter Text

"Tubbo, will you sit down?" Ranboo said. "The tension in the room is so thick that you could cut it with a knife."

Tubbo ignored Ranboo and continued to pace the room.

"Only a few more minutes till Wilbur gets back and then only 25 minutes till the interview starts," Phil said.

"What if something goes wrong?" Tubbo asked. He ran up and down the stairs for no apparent reason. He did this for ten minutes, till Wilbur walked through the door.

"Tubbo, calm down mate," Phil said, watching Tubbo pacing through the living room again.

"Turn on the tv, go to the channel," Tubbo ordered. He sat on the couch and opened his laptop. He put an earpiece in and connected it to his phone.

Techno turned on the tv and went to the channel that would be interviewing Tommy. Tubbo opened up multiple tabs but stayed on a word document.

"You ready to wait twenty more minutes?" Wilbur asked, bringing out food for everyone.

"Fuck off," Tubbo sang.

The twenty five minutes couldn't go any slower. It was horrible and felt like torture. They didn't know when the next time they would be this close to communicating with Tommy, so this was their one shot.

They were recording the interview, so they could go back and look for details. Phil sat in a chair and started twisting his wedding band. Techno seemed relatively calm, but was tapping the arm rest of his chair. Wilbur was on a group call with the other sins, just to know if something happens. Ranboo was messing with his hoodie's strings and Tubbo was fidgeting and ready to start typing immediately.

Suddenly the screen changed to the woman from the morning's report, and everyone sat on the edge of their seats.

***

Tommy started humming the Able Sisters and closed his eyes.

He knew the name of the building and he should be put on tv soon. However, he didn't know what time of day it was.

"7-15-22," Tommy whispered to himself. "2-21-14-11-5-18 12"

"Numbers. Codes. I have to contact Tubbo."

The blonde continued humming the Able Sisters, until he heard the door open. The same man from before came in, but had one other person.

"Stand up and come with us," the other person said. Tommy did as he was told, too weak to do anything else.

He followed the other person through the halls, while the man from before trailed behind him. They lead him to a car, where he got in.

The drive wasn't too long, and they ended up at a news station.

It's time, Tommy thought and entered the building.

***

"Good evening viewers. I'm sure most of you are a bit anxious, but I won't keep you any longer. I'm here tonight with the deadly sin, Pride," The woman said. The camera moved to Tommy who was sitting in his seat.

The camera zoomed out so the audience could see both interviewer and interviewee.

Wilbur immediately started muttering things to the other sins and Tubbo started typing as fast as he could.

"So, would you like to introduce yourself?" The woman smiled.

"My name is Tommy and I'm seventeen years old," Tommy said, muttering for most until he said seven.

"He's trying to communicate with us!" Wilbur shouted.

"He's using our code. We sometimes use numbers to communicate," Tubbo said, not taking his eyes from the computer screen.

The woman's face didn't falter but her eyes showed a second of confusion, but continued on.

"So what deadly sin are you?" The woman asked, keeping that stupid smile on her face.

"I'm Pride," Tommy muttered. "I believe there was only fifteen people who were Pride before me."

"So he said seventeen and fifteen, but I think it was meant to be seven," Ranboo said.

"G and O," Tubbo muttered. "Match the numbers with letters."

"That's interesting," the woman said. "So how does being a sin work?"

"Well, I honestly don't feel comfortable saying too much for the other sins may not feel comfortable," Tommy explained. "I mean, we're not like heathens disguised at sweet seven year olds wearing two twos."

Tommy pointed two of his fingers at the ground on the last words.

"Twenty two?" Techno asked.

"V," Tubbo muttered. "Gov?"

The woman chuckled a bit and said,"Speaking of which, have you met the other sins?"

"Only once, but I'm friends with two of them," Tommy answered. "But I was hoping for none of this to happen for at least twenty one more years."

"Why twenty one?"

"I like the number twenty one, but fourteen is my favorite."

"Two, twenty one, fourteen," Phil muttered. "Bun-"

"That's nice," the woman nodded. "Are you the youngest sin?"

"Yes."

"When do you think I can talk to the others?"

"They're not as social as I am," Tommy sighed. "I mean Lust. They love the number eleven."

"Quackity, calm down," Wilbur sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"Bunk?" Ranboo whispered.

"Now, I don't want to be rude," The woman said, smile somewhat fading. "But some people are scared of the sins. If you could somehow explain that you won't or will harm people, it gives us a way to give people some security."

Tommy seemed lost in thought for a moment and then sighed. "Well, I'm just like everyone else. None of us sins want to cause any harm to anyone. It's not like we curse you with the sin, it's the fact that we are cursed with that sin. We are like the representatives of our sin. My mom died when I was five and I had no one until I met my best friend, who is now eighteen. Everyone has some tragedy, even us sins. We don't sit in palaces and laugh at other's miseries. We go through the same struggles and are just people."

"That clears up a lot," the woman smiled again. "Is there anything else you would like to say or ask?"

"Is it twelve o'clock? I don't have a watch or access to a clock," Tommy smiled sheepishly.

"I got gov bunker L," Techno said.

Tubbo finally looked up from his computer and smiled. "It's not L. He's at Government Bunker 12."

Chapter 11: Missing People Pog?

Summary:

"You seem to be here a lot," Bad said.

"It's my job, sir," Ponk said, shifting his weight. "I'm supposed to watch the prisoner."

Bad nodded and smiled. "Have you spoken to him lately?"

"Half an hour ago, sir."

"Did he reveal anything to you?"

Ponk said nothing for a moment and then answered when Bad gave him a look. "He believes he has replicated the curse the seven deadly sins have, but just needs a test subject."

Chapter Text

"What the hell is Government Bunker 12?" Wilbur asked, having his call on speaker.

"How did you even get that?" Quackity asked from the phone.

"Well, Gov Bunker L doesn't make sense, but I searched gov bunker 12, and I found this high security government building that's an hour away," Tubbo smiled.

"So what are we supposed to do with this information?" Schlatt asked.

"Maybe one of us can try and go in. Maybe scope out the place. I can keeping trying to find more information about all this, we might even have to send another sin in," Tubbo said, starting to type furiously on his computer.

"I'll go," Wilbur said.

"No you won't," Phil growled, standing up from his seat.

"Someone has to go in and this is my fault!" Wilbur shouted back, standing up from his seat as well.

"You are not to blame for this!" Phil shouted.

"So is it Tommy's fault?!" Wilbur growled. Phil and Wilbur growl too much.

"Whoever tipped the news and got the government involved is the one to blame," Phil sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"I think one of us needs to turn ourselves in before the rest of us are exposed," Dream said. "Then the two can come up with a plan from the inside and get out."

"Then I'm going," Wilbur said. Phil opened his
mouth to argue, but Techno stopped him.

"It seems like we don't have another choice. We know where Tommy is, we have no idea what they're putting him through, and we've all decided that someone who is a sin needs to go in. It would also help if Tommy trusted them. Wilbur is the best choice, there is no point in arguing," Techno said, convincing everyone in the room that the plan was already made.

"Fine. Just be careful," Phil said, standing up and giving Wilbur a hug.

"I'll bring him back," Wilbur sighed, hugging his father back.

***

Bad walked into the monitoring room, where Ponk sat watching the prisoner through the one way window.

"Did you suggest the person I told you to?"

"I did indeed."

"And what was his response?" Bad asked.

Ponk sucked in a breath and said,"He didn't take too kindly to the idea. He started throwing things and shouting. He said that Hannah was his friend, and he would never test such a dangerous substance on someone he cares about."

"You did tell him where you got the blood, didn't you?" Bad asked, hands curling into fists.

"I was never told I had to, sir," Ponk said, curling in on himself.

"That doesn't matter," Bad smirked. "I would like to talk to him. Maybe share a few secrets with him. I have been doing some research of my own."

Ponk nodded and watched as Bad walked away. He sighed and looked back at the green haired man.

I'm sorry, Sam.

***

"Bad! The person is calling again!" Skeppy shouted.

Bad came running into the room and picked up the phone. "Hello."

"Hello," the man said.

"What's your reasoning for calling?" Bad snapped, agitated the man even had the nerve to call again.

"A bit quick to the point are we?" The man chuckled.

"I'm a very busy person and I haven't got all day, so please state what you need," Bad huffed.

The man chuckled and said,"Of course. I found out that another deadly sin will be turning themselves in. It's another test subject for you."

Bad smiled, but then a thought struck him. "How do you always know these things? First you give us evidence that the seven deadly sins are really, then you give us private information on Pride, now this? Where is your source?"

"My source?" The man snapped. "No, I have a man on the inside delivering me information. It does not matter where I get it, you know our deal."

"Of course," Bad sighed. "You give me information, I send government workers searching for your friend."

"Yes. If you don't hold up your end of the deal, your employees will start disappearing one by one. Just like my friends when they got involved with the government," the man snarled.

"Anyways, do you have a briefing on this sin?" Bad said, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"He goes by Wilbur. He has a past smoking addiction. He's Wrath and is close with Pride. The sins are still meeting and he's been one of the leaders of these meetings. He has a twin brother and still lives with his dad. His mother went missing around seventeen years ago, and she was never found."

"Thank you, that will be all," Bad said.

"Wait. Any news on my friend?"

"None so far," Bad sighed. "We checked everywhere in the area they disappeared in, but there was no clues. And you didn't give us the best description of them."

"Alright," The man sighed, sounding defeated. "Just keep looking." And with that, he hung up.

"We got another one coming?" Skeppy asked.

"Yes. Wrath is in their way." Bad smiled. "We'll have more research for our prisoner."

"That's good," Skeppy smiled, jotting something down on his clipboard.

"We should also be weary of Ponk," Bad frowned. "We need to make sure his loyalties aren't changing."

"Of course," Skeppy said. "I can give him another job so he won't be watching the prisoner 24/7. And Antfrost wants to meet with you about one of our field workers who's searching for the deadly sins. Something about Punz and his little brother."

"Thank you Skeppy," Bad said. "I think I need to do some field work of my own."

"What?"

"I think it's time I visit my son."

Chapter Text

Tommy tapped his fingers on the floor and hummed. He was really bored, and he hoped his friends would come for him soon.

Or at least something a little interesting would happen, besides them taking blood samples.

As if someone was reading his thoughts, a large man opened the door and threw a much skinnier man into the room.

"If you two don't behave then we'll separate you. Don't test our patience," the man huffed and slammed the door behind him.

The man looked at Tommy with wide eyes, and looked close to tears.

"Oh my god Tommy," Wilbur cried and lunged forward to hug Tommy. "I was so worried. Are you alright? Did they hurt you?"

Tommy hugged the man back and sobbed. "They didn't hurt me. They aren't really good at feeding me, but I'm used to that. Besides that, I'm alright."

They pulled away from each other and quickly dried their tears. "I'm so happy to see you again. I was worried you ran away because you were mad at me. But then I found out they kidnapped you."

"I wasn't mad at you," Tommy said. "I just had a lot of pent up shit and it all kinda bursted out at you."

"That's what everyone kept telling me," Wilbur smiled.

"Why the hell are you here anyways?" Tommy asked, suddenly worried if they found out about the other sins. "Did I tell them too much?"

"No. You were prefect. Tubbo deciphered your code and found at where you were. I turned myself in so we could figure out an escape plan," Wilbur explained.

"So you came in here with no plan?" Tommy asked. Wilbur nodded and Tommy's face went red.

"I'm guessing that was the wrong answer," Wilbur muttered.

"This place is literally inescapable! You idiot! Why would you fucking allow yourself to be a card the enemy could play with no plan?!" Tommy shouted.

"We wouldn't be able to get you from the outside, so we thought we could take this place down from the inside," Wilbur explained.

"That's brilliant!" Tommy shouted sarcastically. "But now the government can search your history and get to Phil, Techno, Tubbo, and Ranboo. They could be arrested for hiding you!"

Wilbur's face dropped. "I didn't think of that."

Tommy sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Let's just wait till they come and interrogate you. I've made a friend who wants to help me out."

"Really?"

"Ya, he also owes me a favor. We shared an alley way when we were young. He ran away from his older brother and I had run away from a foster family. Played cards, I won. Don't know how he ended up working here though."

"Uh, well at least we got that going for us," Wilbur said. Wilbur noticed a new band aid on Tommy's arm and became worried.

"Tommy, why is there a band aid on your arm?" Wilbur asked. Tommy's face fell and he muttered,"They take blood samples."

"What?!" Wilbur shouted. The wrath mark on his wrist became really clear as Wilbur became more angry. "They stuck a needle in you and took blood samples?!"

"Yes, but-" Tommy started, but was cut off.

"They dare to do this after kidnapping you!" Wilbur shouted.

"Will, they didn't kidnap me," Tommy muttered. Wilbur froze and turned to face the blonde, who was nervously shifting his weight.

"What do you mean? They didn't kidnap you?" Wilbur asked.

"I was angry and wasn't thinking straight," Tommy muttered. "So when you said that you would've expected me to turn myself in, I decided I would."

The color drained from Wilbur's and tears seemed to be pricking at the corner of his eyes. "So this really is all my fault?" Wilbur whispered, and sunk to the floor.

"No, Will. It's not your fault. I shouldn't have turned myself in to begin with," Tommy said, rushing over to Wilbur. "We'll come up with a plan. We'll escape and everything will be fine."

"I hope you're right," Wilbur sighed.

***

Sam was scribbling down notes. He hadn't taken his eyes off the paper in three hours. He was writing formulas and hypothesis and different ways he could experiment on Pride's blood sample.

"Sam, take a break," Hannah said. Sam finally looked over to his friend.

Hannah's long brown hair was a mess and there were tear lines on her face. Her hair didn't have any flowers in it like it always had, and her wrists and ankles were bleeding from the shackles keeping her chained to the wall.

"I can't. If this doesn't work, than you won't be freed," Sam said.

"Do you even know where the blood is coming from?"

"Pride."

"Do you know who?"

"The computer said from someone named Tommy. The blood is from a young person, but I don't think the government would imprison a child so maybe just a young adult," Sam deadpanned, going back to his work.

"Sam, these people have children working here!"

"Only one kid, and he wants to be here. Besides I don't know Pride, but I know you. You're my friend and your safety comes first."

The door to their cell opened. Sam whipped around, expecting Ponk. But it wasn't.

"Hello Sam. I don't think I've introduced myself. My name is Bad BoyHalo. You can call me Bad, and I'm the person running this operation," Bad smirked.

"What do you want?" Sam snapped.

"I've been watching your work. You are very talented," Bad said, walking into the cell. "I have a new blood sample from you. It's from Wrath."

Sam took a few steps forward, but his ankle shackle kept him from going to far. Bad handed the blood sample to Sam, who immediately ran to his work station and started getting information from the DNA.

"Name, Wilbur Soot. Age, 23. Has a twin brother, TechnoBlade. Father, Philza Minecraft. Mother, Kristen Minecraft," Sam kept typing and there was a beep on the computer.

"Matching DNA strands with first subject." Sam said. Bad's face turned to a look of surprise.

"What!"

Chapter 13: Quackity thinks Bad is a bit sus

Summary:

Sam watched as the door closed behind Bad and sighed. "He must be going to see Sapnap," Hannah said, examining her wrists. "And does he still know which sin you know?"

"There should be no way to make the connection. There were no legal papers confirming any ties with him," Sam said. "At least my son is safe for now."

"Matching DNA strands with first subject."

"What!"

"TommyInnit. Father, Philza Minecraft. Mother, Kristen Minecraft. Brothers, TechnoBlade and Wilbur Soot. Mother died when he was three years old and is an orphan," Sam said. "Is Tommy really sixteen?"

"Yes but that's the least of our troubles," Bad said, in pure shock. "Two sins in the same family? Most sins never even meet each other. But all the sins live around the same area, and two are from the same family!"

Sam ducked his head down, thinking of his adopted son. "Apparently so. They seem much closer than before."

"I wonder if my source knows?" Bad muttered. "He would have told me that they were biological brothers. So that means he doesn't know."

"When will Hannah get out?" Sam asked.

Bad looked up to Sam, and then over to Hannah. He smiled as she lunged forward. "Once we have all the sins and you have replicated their curse, than you both will be free," Bad sighed, and turned to leave.

"Bad, be careful," Sam said. "You have no idea what you're dealing with. This won't end well for you."

"Just because you knew a sin and you ended up here, doesn't mean the same will happen to me," Bad said. "I don't have time for your meaningless words, I have a family visit to make."

"QUACKITY!" Karl shouted, throwing his arms around the man and kissing him on the cheek.

"I've only been gone for two days," Quackity said, smiling at his fiancé's enthusiasm at his return.

"Two days too long," Karl said, clinging tighter onto the man.

"You think it's safe now?" Sapnap asked, as the other two walked into the kitchen.

Quackity nodded and explained that Wilbur turned himself in so the government would probably be distracted with those two, so they had a bit of time.

"We'll I'm glad we can finally see you again," Sapnap smiled, walking forward to hug his two fiancés.

Sapnap and Quackity pulled away, but Karl still clung onto Quackity. "We should have a feral boys hangout again!" Karl suddenly exclaimed.

"That was random, but ya we should," Sapnap smiled. The three moved into the living room and ended up curled up on the couch. Sapnap and Quackity sat next to each other, Quackity resting his head on Sapnap's shoulder. Karl then laid himself across the two and ate popcorn while they watched a movie.

They weren't too far into it when there was a knock at the door. They paused the movie and the three stayed quiet. There was a knock again, and the doorbell was rung.

Karl sat up and watched as Sapnap walked over to the door cautiously. There was one more knock and a shout that the three recognized.

"I know you're home you muffins!"

Sapnap opened the door and exclaimed,"Dad!"

"Hello Sap!" Bad smiled, walking forward to his Sapnap. Karl and Quackity walked forward and smiled to see Bad.

Quackity tugged his sleeve down a bit, making sure his tattoo couldn't be seen. He trusted Bad, but not that much.

"Karl! Big Q! How are you?" Bad smiled, walking forward and enveloping the two in a hug.

"We're great!" Karl smiled, the three pulling away from each other.

"So I know you three are engaged, but when are you planning on getting married?" Bad questioned, a smirk on his face.

"Uhmm, we haven't really started thinking about all that," Sapnap said with a frown.

"I have!" Karl exclaimed and ran deeper into the house. Bad walked farther into the house so Sapnap could close the door behind him.

Karl then came running back with a huge binder and several folders.

"What the fuck?" Quackity exclaimed.

"Language!" Bad said, elbowing Quackity. The man rolled his eyes with a small smile.

"I've been planning out my wedding for years, but I changed things up when I met you two and got to know you better!" Karl smiled, bringing the others over to a table to show them the contents.

"This is some great stuff!" Sapnap exclaimed, smiling at Karl. "I love some of these venues."

"There's over twenty different venue options, tons of outfits and different places to buy stuff from!" Karl rambled.

"How about the three of us sit down together and look through all of these tomorrow?" Quackity said, grabbing Karl's hand. Karl smiled and nodded. He gathered up all the folders and then binder and ran back to where they were.

"How about I go make some dinner? Pasta good with you guys?" Sapnap asked. Bad and Quackity nodded and Sapnap walked to the kitchen.

Which left Bad and Quackity alone.

"So what have you been up to lately?" Bad asked.

"Uh, I quit my job. It wasn't really working out for me, but I'm looking at different ways I could start my own business," Quackity said. "What about you?"

"Just the usually," Bad smiled. "Going to work with Skeppy, basically doing nothing, go home and do nothing again."

"Where do you work?" Quackity asked.

"It's a science lab, it's kinda far out from here," Bad said, clearly not comfortable where the subject was going. "What kind of business do you want to start?"

"I was thinking of a casino or something like that for gambling," Quackity said, now curious why Bad was uncomfortable talking about his job. "What kind of experiments do you conduct?"

"I don't know what the main facility works on, but my section mostly does surveys." Bad looked at Quackity and said, with a slight glare, "But I think they are doing something with the sins now."

Quackity's expression didn't change, but fear and worry started to build up inside him.

"Really now?" Quackity said. "I think it would be nice for Karl, Sap, and I to maybe visit you one day. It would be nice to see Skeppy as well."

"Maybe one day," Bad said. The two looked at each other for a while, but were snapped out of their glares when they heard someone clear their throat.

They turned and Sapnap stared at them for a moment and said,"You guys good?"

"Yes," Quackity said, moving closer to Sapnap. "We were only chatting."

"I'm really sorry but I should probably go," Bad said. "Skeppy was planning a surprise dinner for me and I don't want to disappoint him."

"Oh, alright." Sap said. "Well, come visit again soon."

"Of course!" Bad smiled. "Bye Sapnap, bye Quackity!"

Quackity nodded and watched as Bad left. Quackity could no longer trust Bad and feared he wasn't telling the truth.

"You good babe?" Sapnap asked, taking Quackity's hand.

"Ya," Quackity sighed. "I'm just going to make some calls tonight."

Chapter 14: Family Bonding Time

"Well, there is one more thing you should know," Ponk said. "They have a scientist working on replicating your curses. He's succeeded on replicating Pride, and soon he'll have replicated Wrath."

Chapter Text

Tommy laid in his bed, humming a tune. It felt familiar to him, yet he couldn't remember where he first heard it.

All of a sudden, Wilbur started humming the same tune with him. It took a moment for the two to realize that they were humming the same tune, but Wilbur suddenly stopped pacing and turned to the blonde.

"How do you know that tune?" Wilbur asked. Tommy took a minute to think, but shrugged. "I don't know. How do you know it?"

Wilbur sat on the floor of the prison room, a sad expression on his face. "My mom used to hum it to me and Techno when we were younger."

"Oh, then how do I know it?" Wilbur shrugged and leaned against the bed.

Before either of them could say anything they heard a bang and voices outside the room. They both scrambled up and stood in the middle of the room. They watched as the door opened and two men entered the room. One wore a suit, that made it clear he was an official government worker. He also wore a ski like mask, so they could only see his eyes the other person looked a lot younger. He had blonde hair and purple eyes. He wore the uniform for a security guard.

"Wilbur Minecraft, you do realize that exposing yourself you just exposed your family and possibly other sins?" The first man asked.

Wilbur just glared at the two men and didn't say anything.

"Tommy, please get him to talk," The guard said. Tommy sighed and turned to Wilbur.

"Just talk to them. You don't have to give up any information," Tommy said. Wilbur looked stunned for a second as he looked at Tommy.

"Fine, only if I get their names though," Wilbur huffed.

"I'm Ponk," The older man said. "And this is Purpled. I just want to have a nice conversation with the two of you."

"What was all that noise outside?" Tommy asked. Purpled let out a small chuckle as Ponk rolled his eyes.

"We were trying to bring a second bed for Wilbur, but we will discuss that after our chat," Ponk said. They all sat on the floor and Ponk cleared his throat. "Listen, there are some things you two should now."

"And why would you tell us?" Wilbur mumbled.

"Because they're on our side," Tommy sighed, "Purpled is the person I was telling you about. The one who owes me a favor." Wilbur nodded and turned back to Ponk.

"Listen. They're gonna draw more blood from the both of you tomorrow and since you're brothers they've taken more of an interest in you," Ponk said.

"Brothers?" Wilbur exclaimed. "But we're not brothers."

"Wait, you two didn't know?" Ponk said, eyes widening.

"There is nothing to know, we aren't brothers," Wilbur retorted.

"You most certainly are, I assure you," Ponk explained. "They ran a DNA test and you are related. Both of your parents are Philza and Kristen Minecraft. You two both have a brother named Technoblade, and you two are brothers."

"That explains why we both know the same tune," Tommy muttered. "I do have family. I'm not an orphan."

"My mum is dead. She's been dead all this time. Eleven years, right?" Wilbur whispered, tears pricking at the corner of his eyes. Tommy turned and hugged Wilbur. "It's going to be ok."

"You were alone all this time," Wilbur cried.

"I'm not anymore though," Tommy whispered, tears sliding down his face.

"Well, there is one more thing you should know," Ponk said. "They have a scientist working on replicating your curses. He's succeeded on replicating Pride, and soon he'll have replicated Wrath."

The two pulled out of their hug, fear now taking control of their emotions. "No." They both muttered.

"It's true. I've seen his work with my own two eyes," Ponk sighed. "But I want to help you two, is there anyone you're close with who might betray you?"

"No, why?" Wilbur asked.

"We have a man on the inside getting information about the sins to us. We knew Wilbur was going to turn himself in before he even left his home to do so," Ponk said, anger shining through his eyes.

"Oh gods," Wilbur muttered, running his hands through his hair. "I... I don't know who it could be."

"Talk to Ranboo," Tommy muttered, staring hard at the floor. "He knows something that we don't. Talk to him, but please be nice. Keep water near you and respect him. He gets triggered easily and is very sensitive to certain topics."

Ponk nodded and stood up. Purled followed suit and the two left to leave. "We'll get the second bed in later," Purpled smiled. And with that, the two left. Wilbur and Tommy sat in silence, overwhelmed by everything that just occurred.

"Well shit," Tommy sighed.

"I couldn't have said it better myself."

***

Techno sat in his room. His suitcase was already packed and ready when it was time to leave. There was a knock on his door and he heard it open.

"Hey mate" Phil smiled. "You packed already?"

"Ya," Techno deadpanned. "I packed all of Wilbur's important stuff and Tubbo is getting Tommy's stuff."

"Are you gonna come with us?" Phil asked. "You're welcome to stay with us."

"No," Techno sighed. "I need to figure this all out, you three need to be safe."

"Tech, please stay safe," Phil said, sitting down next to Techno. "And if you ever need someone to braid your hair, just call us."

Techno chuckled and met his dad's eyes. "Thanks. I'll keep that in mind."

There was another knock at the door and Ranboo came in. He saw the two men and his eyes widened. He started twisting his hands and slowly walk out of the room.

"Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bother you. I'll go now," Ranboo stuttered, and turned to leave but stopped when a hand rested on his shoulder.

"Does Tubbo need help packing?" Phil asked. Ranboo nodded and Phil smiled. "I'll go help him, you can stay here."

Phil left and Ranboo turned to Techno. "Hi."

"What's up Ranboo?"Techno asked.

"Are you going to go with Phil and Tubbo?" Ranboo asked.

Techno shook his head. "No, I'm sorry."

"Can I stay with you?" Ranboo blurted. "Tommy told me you were a really good fighter. I know that Phil and Tubbo aren't going to allow anyone their location, but I still want to help."

"Is there something you know?" Techno asked, worry in his voice.

"I don't know. I don't want to say anything until I'm one hundred percent sure I'm right," Ranboo muttered.

"Anything could help, but I won't force you to do anything."

"So can I come with you?" Ranboo asked.

Techno sighed and smiled. "If Philza is ok with it, then sure."

"Thank you!" Ranboo exclaimed and enveloped Techno in a hug. "You won't regret this!"

Techno was taken aback by the boy's outburst, but smiled at the thought of Ranboo finally trusting them. "Nothings going to happen to you. You're family and I do anything to protect my family."

Chapter Text

Dream paced around the room of his apartment, George laying on the couch.

"Dweeeaammmm," George mumbled. "Calm down."

"How can I calm down! The sins are close to exposure! Who knows what's happening with Wilbur and Tommy! And we could be taken away at any moment," Dream huffed.

"Didn't you have a roommate besides Sapnap and me?" George yawning.

Dream stopped in his tracks. George barely remembers. Maybe Sapnap doesn't? As long as his two friends and Ranboo never run into each other, he'll be fine. He can continue out his plan, with everyone coming out alive, and in his control.

Dream had no place to bargain people's lives for his own greed, but that was it. He had no control and his fucking curse fogged up his mind at times to the point where he could no longer tell right from wrong.

"No," Dream sighed. "I didn't have another roommate." He technically wasn't lying. Ranboo wasn't his roommate, just some kid he took in and got the bad side of Dream's curse.

"Mmmm," George hummed from the couch. "Cuddles?"

"George," Dream sighed, with a smile. "The couch isn't big enough."

"You're no fun," George yawned, finally dosing off.

"I know," Dream whispered, a sad expression on his face.

"Niki! Wait up!" Puffy yelled, chasing her fiancé across the beach. The two women laughed as they fell upon each other in the water.

"No! Don't tickle me!" Niki laughed as Puffy enveloped her in a hug, tickling her. They pulled themselves out of the water and laid on the sand staring into each other's eyes.

They grabbed each other's hands, and a shadow fell upon them. They looked up to see two men in front of them.

"Hello ladies," Foolish said, Eret next to him. The two girls sat up, suddenly getting worried.

"We're not supposed to be seen together in public," Niki whispered, pulling her short hibiscus pink hair up into a messy bun.

"You made that very clear when you tried to keep Niki and I from dating," Puffy huffed, wringing her hair out. Her long white hair was matted down for now, but it would later puff up like a lion's mane.

"I know, and I'm very happy that you too are engaged now," Eret said, the two men sitting down. "But this is important."

"The government found out about the sins," Foolish said.

"We know, we watch the news," Puffy mumbled.

"They have Wrath and Pride," Foolish continued.

"They have Will?!" Niki exclaimed, worried for her friend.

"And they apparently found away to replicate the sins' curse using just a few blood samples," Eret said. Puffy and Niki were in shock. They failed.

The four of them had failed their one goal. To keep the sins a secret and safe.

"What will Jack do?" Niki asked. "He's gonna tell the boss!"

"He already did," Eret sighed.

The four sat in silence, thinking about what their next move should be.

"We should contact someone who's close with the sins," Foolish suggested.

"You mean us?" Puffy asked.

"No, I mean OUR inside man," Foolish said.

"No," Eret muttered. "We can't. It's too dangerous."

"We don't have any other choice!" Foolish shouted. They looked around, noticing they started drawing attention to themselves, and lowered their voices. "We have to."

"We can't make contact with them or we'll blow their cover," Eret said. "However, there is someone else we can talk to. He might be able to inform us about some stuff."

"Really? Who?" Niki asked.

"Have we met them?" Puffy asked. Eret nodded, and looked as if they were lost in thought.

"You gonna tell us, or what?" Foolish asked. Eret snapped out of her daze and sat up.

"Ya. I'll tell you on the way there," Eret explained standing up. "We leave tomorrow."

***

Techno sat in his room, spinning around in his chair. As he did this, he was throwing darts.

At his dart board, of course.

Techno heard the door open and he stopped spinning to face the door.

"Oh fuck, now I'm dizzy," Techno muttered, grabbing his head. He put the darts down on his desk and looked up to see Ranboo.

He was stilling wearing the same clothes as when he passed out on the couch, after moving into their new apartment.

"What's up?" Techno asked, the room starting to clear up.

"Some friends of mine stopped by without warning, do you mind if they stay for a bit?" Ranboo cringed into himself and shut his eyes as if he expected Techno to get angry and hit him.

"Of course I don't mind," Techno said with a smile. Ranboo's eyes opened with shock and he smiled. "Thank you!"

The pink haired man got up and nodded. The two walked to the front door of the apartment. Techno looked through the peephole and looked at Ranboo with a confused look. "Who are these people?"

"If you let them in, we'll explain," Ranboo said. Techno nodded and opened the door. There stood four people, four grown ass adults.

One had short hibiscus pink colored hair, and wore a black crop top, a black and white flannel, and jean shorts. She held hands with a girl with big white hair, who wore black pants and a red hoodie.

Then next to them was a man with emerald green eyes, messy golden hair, and had an aura that made it seem like he glowed. He wore black sweatpants and a mustard zip up hoodie over a forest green shirt. And behind the three was a person with short curly brown hair, and sunglasses. They wore blue jeans and a gray t-shirt with an opened red jacket over it. They also wore sunglasses, which Techno found strange since they were indoors.

"May we come in?" Asked the man with sunglasses. Techno nodded and moved so the four could enter. Ranboo closed the door behind them and showed them to the living room.

"Make yourself at home," Techno said, trying not to seem so hostile. He of course knew the girl with the pink hair, but he wasn't that close with her.

The six of them sat in different places and stayed in silence for a bit. "What are you guys doing here?" Ranboo asked, breaking the silence.

"We were hoping you knew anything more than what the public already knows about the sins and how they were exposed," Eret said, pinching the bridge of her nose.

"I'm sorry," Ranboo said. "You must have come a long way, but I have to disappoint. I know nothing of how the sins' information got out."

The four people sighed and visibly sunk into themselves in defeat.

"How do you all know each other and about the sins?" Techno asked.

"We're apart of a secret organization that watches over the sins and helps them keep their secret safe and stay out of trouble. Us four were tasked with this area," Foolish explained. "And we failed."

"What will happen to you four?" Ranboo asked.

"Jack has already told the boss," Puffy groaned. "It's only a matter of time till we find out the consequences."

"I should be there with you!" Ranboo said. "Whatever happens to you, I should receive the same!"

"No," Eret said. "You are not to get involved. You are not part of the organization and you need to stay out of this."

Ranboo knew there was no use fighting Eret on this. The other three would agree with him, and the same goes for their superiors. He just wished there was more he could do.

"How do you all know each other?" Techno asked.

"An old friend of ours found him abandoned," Niki said. "None of us could take him in, so we left him with someone we knew and trusted."

"And who was that?" Techno asked.

"No one," Ranboo said, not letting anyone say anything. "You don't know them Techno. Just a nice young couple. They apparently didn't care for me as anyone of us hoped for. They through me out, and here I am."

The four looked at Ranboo, but didn't say anything. They knew that Ranboo was lying, and clearly didn't want Techno to know the truth. They just were worried why.

"Well, we should get going," Eret said. "Maybe we can say farewells to friends and family we might not see again."

"It's not like they're going to kill us," Puffy said, rolling her eyes.

"We'll not you," Foolish said. "You have connections to people in the government and you're related to a sin. So you'll be fine."

Niki turned to Ranboo and Techno, and smiled. "Thank you for allowing us in and I wish the best for the both of you."

"Will you be alright?" Ranboo asked.

"Yes," Niki smiled, walking over to hug Ranboo. "I promise you that."

Chapter 16: Things Are Looking Up

Summary:

Tubbo shrugged and started to clean up the chess board. There was knock at the door and Tubbo stood up and got it.

He opened it and a boy his age stood in front of him. He had dirty blonde hair and purple eyes. He also wore a purple hoodie and jeans. He held himself like a soldier and had a look of maturity beyond his age in his eyes.

"How can I help you?" Tubbo asked, not opening the door enough for the boy to see inside but just enough not to make him suspicious.

"Are you Tubbo?" The boy asked. "I'm Purpled. I'm here to deliver a message from Wilbur and Tommy."

Chapter Text

There was too much fire. It burned his skin and blinded him. The building was collapsing, and he still hadn't found Tommy.

"TOMMY!"

Tubbo came to a halt as he saw his blonde haired friend turn to him. He was in tears.

He could finally see him again. He went to ran forward, but a hand grabbed his shoulder. He turned and saw Schlatt standing behind him.

"Tubbo," Schlatt said. "He's already gone."

"What?" It came out as barely a whisper.

"He's gone my son," Schlatt repeated. "He has fulfilled what he needed to do. He's reunited us."

"What do you mean?" Tubbo asked, fear lacing his voice.

"Tubbo, I am so sorry I abandoned you," Schlatt said, now crying.

Tubbo couldn't look at the man. He looked towards Tommy who seemed more distant.

"We need to get out of here!" Tubbo shouted, pulling away from Schlatt. "Tommy is right there and the building is about to come down on us!"

Tubbo ran to Tommy, leaving Schlatt behind. He ran closer to Tommy and eventually found himself right in front of him.

Tommy looked way too pale and swayed side to side. Blood matted down his golden hair and ash covered him.

"Tommy we need to go!" Tubbo shouted pulling Tommy forward, but he didn't move.

"I'm sorry Tubbo."

***

Tubbo woke with a start, breathing heavily and tear running down his face.

Phil came running into Tubbo's room. He turned on the light and Tubbo noticed Phil was in his night clothes and his hair was a mess.

"Are you alright?" Phil asked, sitting at the edge of Tubbo's bed.

Tubbo nodded and sighed. "I'm sorry I woke you up."

Phil shook his head and embraced Tubbo in a hug. "No, you didn't wake me up. It's fine. Did you have a nightmare?"

Tubbo shook his head yes, returning the hug and burying his face in Phil's shoulder.

"Do you want to talk about it mate?"

"No." It came out as a whisper. "I just want Tommy back and things to go back to normal."

"I know," Phil whispered, rubbing circles on his back. "Me too."

***

Tommy and Wilbur were both sitting on the floor. They had been trying to think of an escape plan, but could only finalize it with Purpled's help.

"Any ideas?" Tommy asked.

Wilbur looked up with a smirk on his face and nodded. Tommy smiled slightly and hope became a possibility. Getting out of here was a possibility.

They had brought the second bed into the room, but threatened to separate the two if they did anything suspicious.

But they had nothing to do.

There was a noise outside and the two turned their heads to see Purpled come in with food.

"It's not much, but it's all I could get you two," Purpled grimaced. He then squatted and lowered his voice. "Got a plan yet?"

"We need to be in separate cells. While I distract people, Purpled can sneak Tommy out and that's how far I got." Wilbur explained.

"Ok," Purpled said. "We can do that, but then I can come back and get you out. There's a boiler room under here where I can sneak you both to and then get you out. But then you're going to need a get away driver."

"Tubbo," Tommy said. "Get into contact with Tubbo or Ranboo."

Purpled nodded. And stood up. "The next meal I bring you will be your last here."

Purpled stood up and left the room. Tommy sighed and a smile graced his face. "We're going to leave."

Wilbur laid down and looked at the ceiling. "We'll have to leave after this. They'll try to get us back."

Tommy nodded. He couldn't wait to see Tubbo again. He missed Ranboo and prayed everyday that he was alright. Tommy beat himself up for leaving Ranboo.

"If I ever find who outed us, I will kill them," Tommy whispered. It sounded frightening and it caused Wilbur to sit up. He had never heard Tommy this scary nor serious.

***

"Tubbo!" Phil shouted, and put his hands in his face. Tubbo chuckled deviously as his Queen took Phil's King.

"That's two for me," Tubbo smiled. "Zero for you."

"I officially dub you the master of chess," Phil sighed.

"Well, that's one thing I'm good at," Tubbo said.

"That is not true. You are good at many things you're good at," Phil said, standing up and walking into the kitchen. Which wasn't really in a separate room.

"Name theee things I'm good at besides chess," Tubbo challenges.

"Hacking and anything technology related," Phil stated. "You're good at dealing with change, and you're an amazing friends."

"An 'amazing' friend wouldn't have let their best friend get taken by the government."

"You are not to blame for that," Phil scolded.

Tubbo's eyes went wide and his heart almost stopped.

"Come in, come in," Tubbo hurried. Purpled quickly stepped into the house and Tubbo shut the door behind him and locked it.

Phil walked out from the kitchen and had a look of confusion on his face.

"He has a message from Will and Tommy," Tubbk explained. Phil nodded and gestures for them to come into the living room.

They all sat down, Tubbo and Phil on the edge of their sets. Purpled cleared his throat and started to explain.

"Wilbur came up with most of the plan. I'm going to sneak them out. Tommy will probably come out first, shortly followed by Wilbur. I'll sneak them into the boiling room and out through the door at the back. One of you will need to have everything of theirs packed and ready to go. You'll need to get as far as possible because now that they have Wilbur, they have everyone who has a strong connection with him. They won't let you all just leave."

"I understand we'll be ready," Phil said. "When will this happen?"

"I don't know yet, maybe a week?" Purpled said. "I'll try to get into contact with you. I'll message Ranboo."

"You know Ranboo?" Tubbo asked.

Purpled hesitated, but nodded.

"How?"

"I'll let him explain if he wants," Purpled said.

"How will you know that you won't get caught?" Phil asked.

"I'm highly trusted by the superiors at Government Bunker 12," Purpled said. "I work there. My brother works there as well and I basically grew up around these people. They think their ideals are implanted into me."

"Why are you helping Tommy and Wilbur though?" Phil asked.

"Tommy helped me when we were younger. He also beat me in a card game and I owe him a favor," Purpled explained. "It's also the right thing to do. They're innocent people being held against their will and basically starved while the government draws their blood to replicate the curse."

"THEY'RE BEING STARVED?" Phil shouted, standing up in rage. "AND THEY'RE BEING EXPERIMENTED ON?!"

"Government is shit," Purpled sighed. "You should have known that by now."

"Message us whenever you get more details about the escape plan," Tubbo said. "And thank you so much."

"No problem," Purpled smiled. "I'll try to get someone else to help. They owe it to Kristen, so they owe it to her sons."

Phil stopped. He froze. Tubbo thought he'd heard the name before, but it was obvious Phil knew Kristen.

"How do you know who my wife is?" Phil asked. "Have you met her?"

"I never met her," Purpled sighed. "But I have friends who knew her."

Phil stumbled back, in pure shock.

"Do you know why she left?" Phil whispered.

"She was pregnant," Purpled said. "She knew the baby was a sin and thought it was best she left. She also had someone threatening Wilbur since he was also a sin."

"She died eleven years ago, didn't she?" Phil asked, his voice cracking.

Purpled nodded. "Tommy?" Purpled nodded again. Phil broke down and Tubbo hugged him, allowing him to cry into his shoulder.

"I'm so sorry," Purpled whispered.

"Thank you for your help," Tubbo smiled, genuinely.

"I'll see myself out," Purpled said. Tubbo watched as the boy left and closed the door behind him.

"I'm sorry Phil."

"I should have known she'd died," Phil sobbed. "Tommy is my son. He... he was only five years old."

Phil sunk to the floor and Tubbo continued to comfort him. He didn't say anything else. He just listened as Phil cried and talked and shouted and laughed.

Tubbo texted Techno to come over, and he eventually heard the door knob turn.

Techno ran to Phil and hugged him. He didn't ask what was wrong, he just hugged him. Ranboo closed the door behind him as he entered. He wore a black and white mask and glasses, which he wore more than not.

Tubbo pulled away from Phil and brought Ranboo to the side.

"How do you know Purpled?"

Ranboo looked down and sighed. "He's part of a secret organization dedicated to protecting the sins. I was found by some people in the organization and we became friends through me sometimes helping them out. But I'm technically not part of the organization."

Tubbo nodded and hugged Ranboo. "We're going to get Tommy back." He broke down into a fit of quiet hysterical laughter and tears slipped down his face. Ranboo hugged back his friend and shook a bit as he too laughed and cried.

Things were looking up.

Chapter 17: Just Smile

Summary:

Sam grabbed a piece a bread off his tray. He handed it to Hannah, and she read the note.

She screamed in joy. The thought of freedom was so absurd to her that it was almost painful to think about.

"Eat up," Sam smiled. "We're going to be alright."

"SIR!" Antfrost shouted. "BAD YOU NEED TO SEE THIS!

Bad ran into the room, followed by Skeppy. Ponk stood next to Ant, and Punz was lurking in a corner. Bad and Skeppy stood behind Ant and looked onto the computer.

"What is it?" Bad asked, keeping his voice calm despite the adrenaline rushing through his veins.

"We found someone who matched the description of the person our intel is looking for," Ant said.

"That's great! Right?" Skeppy exclaimed, getting worried at Ant's grimace.

"She's dead. We found her dead body and took a DNA sample," Ant sighed.

"Are you absolutely sure it's her?" Bad asked, a little more panic in his voice. "Female, dirty blonde hair, green eyes, around thirteen years old, wearing a green hoodie and a mask with a smiley face?"

"Yes. Her name's Drista. She's been missing for a year and five months," Ant muttered.

"Well she's not missing anymore," Ponk muttered.

"Next time our intel calls, we'll tell him," Bad said, standing up.

"No."

The four looked to Punz in the corner, who was still leaning against the wall clearly unfazed.

"What do you mean 'no'," Bad snapped.

"You'll loose your leverage, so you'll loose your intel. You need to keep bargaining with this man. Find out what else they may need or want and keep negotiating. When you don't need them anymore, simply give them what they want and throw them to the dogs," Punz deadpanned. "I thought you guys were smarter than this."

As much as Bad wanted to admit it, Punz was right. He nodded and stood up straight.

"Find anyone who this girl was connected to and then we can get a better idea who our intel might be," Bad said. Antfrost nodded and Bad exited the room. Skeppy stayed with Antfrost, helping him get more information. Punz and Ponk followed Bad out.

"What would you like me to do sir?" Ponk asked.

"Go check on Sam and Hannah," Bad said. "I can't remember the last time they were given food." Ponk nodded and left in a hurry.

As soon as Ponk was out of earshot, and no one else was around, Bad turned to Punz.

"Punz, you've been with us since the beginning, Bad said. "Both of us knew the consequences of taking this job, and we don't get to see our friends as often."

"Where are you going with this?" Punz asked, his expression remaining blank.

"Take a break," Bad said. "Keep a close eye on our old friends. They might be up to something."

Punz nodded and hurried off.

"Oh and Punz."

"Yes?"

"Don't let your brother get into trouble. I know Purpled is famous for getting himself involved when it's not needed. You know the consequences as well as I if he betrays us."

Punz nodded and turned around. He walked out and Bad sighed. God help him.

***

Hannah couldn't do it anymore. She wanted to leave. She was willing to loose her hands, she just wanted to be set free.

"Hannah, stop!" Sam exclaimed as newly fresh blood creeped from her hands.

"I CAN'T DO IT ANYMORE SAM!" Hannah shouted. "I HAVE BEEN CHAINED TO THIS FUCKING WALL FOR WEEKS AND HAVEN'T BEEN GIVEN FOOD IN DAYS! I'M ABOUT READY TO KILL SOMEONE!"

"Hannah, please calm down."

A thud outside the room shut them both up and they watched as Ponk and Purpled both came into the room with two trays full of food.

"I am so sorry," Ponk sighed. "I had to sneak most of this."

As soon as Purpled handed the tray to Hannah, she attacked it like a rapid beast.

The men turned away from Hannah, letting her to eat.

"Is there any way you can get her out?" Sam asked.

"Eat your food," Purpled deadpanned.

Sam looked down at the tray and saw a note under hidden under a plate. He set the tray down and opened the note.

Purpled will get the sins out, while I'll get you out. This will go down in two days time.
-Ponk

"Thank you," Sam whispered. Ponk nodded and Purpled smiled. The two turned and exited the room.

Sam grabbed a piece a bread off his tray. He handed it to Hannah, and she read the note.

She screamed in joy. The thought of freedom was so absurd to her that it was almost painful to think about.

"Eat up," Sam smiled. "We're going to be alright."

***

After the meeting with Purpled, somehow Phil found himself in the same room with the rest of the sins. Tubbo, Ranboo, and Techno were there too of course. Everyone had also been informed about Tommy being Phil's biological child

"We have the location of the bunker, so we can all meet there and then leave," Phil said. "Of course, none of you have to leave, but my family is."

"Does this also include taking Ranboo and Tubbo?" Fundy asked.

"Only if they want to come," Phil said. Both the kids nodded, indicating they wanted to go with him.

"We have two days to prepare ourselves to go against the government," Techno said. "I know Phil, Tubbo, Ranboo, and I have already packed all our stuff, plus Will's and Tommy's stuff. You guys have two days to get ready."

"On the day of the escape, are we gonna meet up there?" Quackity asked.

"If that's alright," Phil said. "I'm bring a car, but I don't think I can drive anyone back."

The rest nodded. They didn’t have anything anything else, and slowly started to filter out of the house.

George and Dream went out the back, Dream insisting to not go out the front. Dream shot a look towards Ranboo, who went to talk to Techno and Tubbo.

Fundy, Schlatt, and Quackity all live somewhat around each other and left together. Which only left Techno, Tubbo, Ranboo, and Phil in the house.

As everyone made their way home, they realized they were going to do the scariest thing in their lives in two days, and none of them were prepared.

Notes:

I hope you’re ready for the ending! Getting dangerously close to the end <3

Take care of yourselves! Drink some water, eat something, get some rest. Love you all!

Chapter 18: Don’t Blame Me, Blame Politics

Summary:

Tommy laid in his bed and hummed the tune to the Able Sisters and thought of different things he would curse out once he was free.

Definitely rain. Why does the sky think it can just piss on him?

Notes:

I wrote this while watching funny/cute animal compilations at my grandparents’ house. Not kidding.

Chapter Text

Two days passed too quickly.

Quackity had said goodbye to Karl and Sapnap. He didn't have the heart to tell them he might not come back. He loved them both so much, and it broke every bit of him to leave them.

But he had to. He needed to. And somehow he found himself wandering the streets and knocking on someone's door.

"Quackity?" Schlatt asked.

"Hey old friend," Quackity smiled. "You ready?"

Schlatt nodded and closed the door behind him. "I just got off the phone with Puffy. Saying goodbye, telling her to look after Tubbo if I can't."

"Why are you so attached to Tubbo?" Quackity asked.

"He's my kid," Schlatt whispered, almost like if no one heard him it wouldn't be true. "I abandoned him. Left him in a box. I couldn't take care of a kid, I still can't. I'm an alcoholic and I'm not parent material. I was hoping maybe leaving him, he would find a better life. I never knew he would grow up with no parents at all."

"Dang," Quackity said. "That's rough."

The two chuckled as they made their way down the street, just in time to meet Fundy outside his house.

"What's up Fundy?" Quackity said, Fundy joining them.

"I mean, I have no one to say farewell to. So more self pity and envy," Fundy scoffed. "Life's a bitch."

"You got that right!" Schlatt laughed.

The three walked to the bus station and waited for a bus. After sitting for twenty minutes, the bus pulled up.

"WAIT!" Someone shouted as they started boarding.

They turned to see George sprinting down the street. He climbed onto the bus, paying for his ticket, and sat down next to Quackity.

"You good," Quackity giggled. George breathed heavily and rolled his eyes.

"Where's Dream?" George asked, bumping into Quackity as the bus jerked forward.

"Don't know," Fundy said. "Maybe he's late, saying goodbye to people."

George nodded and sat back.

It was a few hours and a whole other bus ride before they arrived close enough to walk to the government building.

This was it.

***

Wilbur had somehow gotten ahold of enough rubber bands to make a rubber ball. He now was throwing it against the wall.

Tommy laid in his bed and hummed the tune to the Able Sisters and thought of different things he would curse out once he was free.

Definitely rain. Why does the sky think it can just piss on him?

Without warning, a man came in who looked like an older version of Purpled. The only difference was that he wore a white hoodie and had blue eyes. He walked over to Wilbur and grabbed his arm, pulling him up. He the cuffed his hands in the back and dragged him out of the room.

"Wait!" Tommy shouted, standing up and running to Will and the man. "What are you doing?!"

The man pulled out a gun and pointed it at Tommy, his expression remains blank. "My boss wants to speak with Wilbur. Stay back and no one will get hurt." The man closed the door behind him, leaving Tommy in a panic.

A few minutes passed and Purpled came into the room. He looked around in confusion.

"Where's Wilbur?" He asked.

"A man came and said that his boss wants to talk to him," Tommy said. Purpled nodded and walked further into the room.

Purpled set the food tray down on Tommy's bed and revealed clothes.

"What's this?" Tommy asked, catching the clothes Purled threw at him.

"They know what we both look like, so we need to look like low ranking security guards. They wear uniforms and barely anyone pays much attention to them," Purpled explained. Tommy nodded and they quickly put on the uniform over their clothes.

After they were both sure no one could clearly see their identity, they looked out of the room to make sure the coast was clear. And then they snuck out.

The made it all the way to the boiler room with no interruption and we're confused on the lack of guards, but they were just grateful to not have been caught to really care.

"Stay here," Purpled said. "Stay hidden while I go find Wilbur."

***

The man was still dragging Wilbur through labyrinth type halls.

"Do I know you?" Wilbur asked. "You look familiar."

"No." The man said.

"Not much of a talker? Can I at least have your name if you're going to drag me around?" Wilbur asked.

"Maybe eventually."

Wilbur sighed, realizing trying to talk with the man was pointless.

They ended up in a room and the man uncuffed and threw Wilbur into the room. It was darker than where Tommy and Wilbur were staying and there was a man in the corner.

"Punz, what the fuck is Wilbur doing here?" Dream asked.

The man, named Punz apparently, looked at Dream and said,"The boss will explain everything."

Punz walked away, leaving Dream and Wilbur. The room they were in was more like a jail cell then a room.

"How did they get you?" Wilbur asked.

"They found my house and just kidnapped me," Dream snarled. Dream wore his mask to the side of his face, so Wilbur could see the entirety of it.

They didn't have much time to talk, since a man walked in front of the cell and smiled.

"Hello Wilbur!" The man greeted, seeming way to nice. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you. My name is Bad BoyHalo, but you can call me Bad, and I run this whole operation."

Ya. He seemed way to nice to be the man ordering for people to be kidnapped, starved, experimented on, and held against their will.

Bad then turned to Dream. His expression turned to a mixture of pity and slight anger.

"You know why you're here Dream," Bad scowled.

"How," Dream growled. "Did you find me?"

"It was quite simple once we identified who you wanted us to find," Bad said.

"Hold up," Wilbur said, very confused. He turned to Dream, starting to get really angry. "You were in contact with them?"

"Wilbur-" Dream started but was cut off by Bad.

"I should I explain your relationship with this organization or would you like to?" Bad smiled.

Dream didn't respond, and Wilbur was fuming. So Bad decided to take the conversation forward.

"We were getting mysterious calls that would inform us about the Seven Deadly Sins," Bad explained. "But in exchange, they wanted us to find a missing person. They never gave us a name, so we only had a description to go off of. Now, this mysterious person clearly used a voice changer so we didn't know what they actually sounded like."

"What's the point of all this?" Wilbur asked, getting irritated.

"Hold your muffins, I'm getting there," Bad sighed. "We found the person they were looking for and then did research into people who they were connected to, and we found who was sending the calls."

"How do you know you're right about who it is?" Dream asked.

"Female, dirty blonde hair, green eyes, around thirteen years old, wearing a green hoodie and a mask with a smiley face, goes by the name Drista?" Bad said with a smirk.

Dream's face paled, while Wilbur's grew red with anger. Wilbur slowly turned to face Dream and whispered and such a calm down tone, that it was more frightening than if he had yelled.

"You sold us out."

"Wilbur I am so sorry. I wasn't thinking and my fucking curse fogged my mind and I needed to find this person," Dream rambled. "Bad you found her. Where is she?"

Bad look sad and said,"I'm sorry Dream. She's dead."

Dream fell against the wall, stunned.

Wilbur truly felt sorry for Dream, deep down at least. On the surface, Wilbur was bursting with rage. He lunged at Dream, and Dream dodged him.

Dream ran out the cell door, which for some reason was open. It was then that Wilbur realized Bad had left and an alarm was going off. Wilbur took off after Dream and chased him through the labyrinth like halls.

Chapter 19: The Final Act part 1

Summary:

Wilbur honestly didn't know how, but he and Dream had ended up in the boiler room. Wilbur looked around and picked up a short metal pole. He turned around to see Dream had found a crow bar.

The two lunged at each other, hitting, cutting, and beating the shit out of the other. Their curses working in their favor for once.

Chapter Text

Purpled was not as stealthy as he thought.

Thanks to Ponk, Purpled was able to uncuff Hannah and Sam and sneak them out of their cell.

It was a lot harder since Sam wanted to take a journal with papers stuffed in it, and also wanted to destroy all his work besides what he was taking with him. And Hannah was bleeding from the wrists and extremely drained. However, that didn't stop her on her bloodthirsty war path.

But nonetheless, Purpled and Ponk got Sam and Hannah out and down to the boiler room.

"Tommy!" Purpled whispered rather loudly.

Tommy peeked out from behind a stack of crates and walked over to the other four people.

Purpled pointed to a door on the far side of the boiler room and said,"You see that door? You three need to get out now."

"I'm not leaving without Wilbur," Tommy said.

"You hve to," Purpled pleaded. "I'm going to find him and get him out of here, but if you don't leave now you might never."

Tommy finally nodded and followed Sam and Hannah out the door. It was clear the three hadn't been outside in quite some time.

They let the door shut behind them and all collapsed. They knew they should be running away, but the fresh air was freeing and the sky was beautiful.

The sun was almost set and Tommy could see the stars.

"Let's go," Sam said, pulling Hannah up from the ground. The three stood and walked.

They expected to be walking home, but only five minutes later, they saw a group of people waiting for them.

"TUBBO! RANBOO!" Tommy shouted, tears falling down his face as he ran as fast as he could to his friends. He slammed into them and the three enveloped one another in a tight hug. Tubbo and Ranboo were also crying at the return of their friend.

Sam and Hannah finally arrived at the group and Sam walked up to George.

"My son," Sam smiled, embracing George into a hug.

"I was so worried about you," George said. "Of course I was asleep half the time while worrying."

Sam chuckled and pulled away from George. Hannah poked Sam in the arm and turned to look at her.

She didn't look good. Her hair hadn't been brushed in weeks, plus it was a mess and had blood in it. Her clothes were dirty and covered in blood. She had cuts all over her that were still bleeding. She was pale and extremely malnourished. She swayed and Sam grabbed her to help her stand up.

George helped Sam set Hannah down and the two sat with her.

Tommy, Tubbo, and Ranboo had pulled out of their hug and Tommy had hugged Phil and Techno.

"Wilbur is still in there, but he should be out soon," Tommy said, fear in his voice. "Just wait."

***

Wilbur honestly didn't know how, but he and Dream had ended up in the boiler room. Wilbur looked around and picked up a short metal pole. He turned around to see Dream had found a crow bar.

The two lunged at each other, hitting, cutting, and beating the shit out of the other. Their curses working in their favor for once.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU FUCKING SOLD US OUT!" Wilbur shouted, pushing Dream away from him. Dream almost stumbled but had control over his body and steadied himself.

"IF YOU COULD HAVE FOUND OUT WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR MOTHER? WOULD YOU HAVE DONE THE SAME?" Dream shouted back.

Wilbur tackled Dream, pinning him to the ground. "As tempting as it is, I would not have."

Dream somehow managed to make Wilbur unbalanced and got on top of him. He put his knee on Wilbur's arm, so he couldn't hit him with the metal stick.

Dream readjusted his mask, so that his face was covered. And Wilbur punched him in the face. Dream pinned Wilbur's other arm down, and noticed how a piece of his mask was broken.

Dream punched Wilbur very hard in the face, causing his nose to start bleeding.

"Sorry Soot," Dream said. "It was nice knowing ya."

***

Phil noticed a very large backup force enter the building and thought now would be a good time to get everyone else the fuck out of there.

Phil didn't want to leave Wilbur, but he had to get Tommy out of there. Wilbur would be fine. Phil would march into that building if he needed to, but not with Tommy around. Especially since Tommy noticed the small force and took a few steps forward.

The group could vaguely hear gunshots, screaming and an obnoxiously loud alarm from the building.

"Tommy I need you to come with me!" Phil shouted, holding his hand out. Tommy looked between Phil and Techno, and back to the boiler room where Wilbur still was.

"I'm sorry," Tommy said, and took off into the facility.

He flung open the door and found Dream standing over a beaten up Wilbur.

Wilbur's knuckles were bleeding and he had cuts all over him. He had bruises and it seemed as if he was struggling to breath. However, Will held a metal stick in his hand.

Said hand was unable to move because Dream had a knee pinning his arm down.

Dream had a crowbar in his hand, and had it raised above his head. Dream's mask was slightly broken so a small fraction of his face could be seen.

It was his eye and some skin around it, which was bleeding slightly. Dream's eye was a bright green, that almost seemed to be unnatural. He had a few freckles on his visible skin.

"Dream?" Tommy gasped. Both men turned towards the blonde.

"Tommy!" Wilbur shouted. "Get out!"

"Tommy," Dream said gently. "Leave."

"Dream what are you doing to Wilbur?" Tommy asked, tears pricking at the corners of his eyes. "I thought we were all on the same side."

"Tommy, it doesn't matter. Dream is the one who sold us out to the government! He doesn't care about us! He just wants power and control!" Wilbur shouted, receiving an extremely hard punch from Dream.

"Tommy leave before you see something you don't want to, or do something you'll regret," Dream said.

Tommy's mother once said. "You are Pride, a sin. But you can still be a hero. You can save people in strange ways. You can be a hero."

The words of his mom rang in his ears. If he couldn't save everyone, he sure as hell would save Wilbur.

"Dream I'm warning you," Tommy growled. "You don't mess with my family."

And before anyone could say anything, government officials ran into the room. They were armed and pointed their weapons at them.

"DROP YOUR WEAPONS AND PUT YOUR HANDS WHERE WE CAN SEE 'EM!" One shouted.

They did as they were told, surrendering to the government.

"You are all being taken back into custody!" The same man said, walking forward with cuffs.

Before he could reach the three, there was a sound of gas releasing and a gas tank exploded.

One after another, explosions happened everywhere. The ceiling then collapsed onto the people inside. Tommy looked over to Wilbur who was trying to run to him, but didn't make it in time. As the ceiling collapsed, Tommy's world went dark.

Notes:

Here’s a chapter for you. Have a lovely Thanksgiving, if you celebrate it. If you don’t then have a wonderful day. Take care of yourselves!

Chapter 20: The Final Act part 2

Summary:

"Eret," Purpled said. "I know Punz betrayed the organization, but he's hurt. Can he at least get help before he faces trial? He's my brother."

"I'm sorry Purpled," Eret said. "It might not matter."

Chapter Text

After Tommy ran back to the boiler room, Phil and Techno lunged forward to go after him, but Quackity and Fundy tackled them.

"Get the fuck off us!" Phil shouted, but Fundy didn't move.

"No! We need to go!" Fundy shouted back.

"But Tom-" Techno started, but was interrupted by Quackity.

"Tommy will be fine with Wilbur! But we won't be fine if we stay here. If something bad happens to them, at least we will be free so we can help them!" Quackity growled.

Phil and Techno stopped struggling against the two men and realized that Quackity was right.

They got up and stared back at the building, when there was a strange sound. They turned around, but realized their mistake. They were then pushed back by the force of an explosion.

Techno watched as the flames licked the night sky and ran forward to Phil. They saw a figure crawling out of the destruction, and ran forward to help.

They realized it was Wilbur and quickly pulled him out. Wilbur had an arm around Phil and Techno's shoulder as the two stood him up.

"Come on!" The pink haired man shouted. "So you're allowed to bomb the government and I'm not?!"

"I didn't cause that explosion," Wilbur responded, fear and defeat laced in his voice.

Techno and Phil walked over to where Tubbo and Ranboo stood, fear on their faces, and sat Wilbur down. Techno whipped around and saw Dream stumbling out of the wreckage.

"Did you do that?" Techno asked. Dream shook his head, half glaring at Wilbur and half looking at the flames in fear. Techno started to realize someone was missing and fear started to envelop him.

"Is Tommy still in there?"

No one answered, dread eating them away.

***

"PUNZ!" Purpled shouted, stumbling through the flames. "PUNZ!"

Ponk was trying to get Purpled out of there, but the boy would not leave without his brother.

"PURPLED!" The two heard the shout and ran in the direction of it.

A wall had collapsed, trapping Punz's legs underneath. Purpled ran forward and starting removing the concrete, trying to free Punz.

"PURPLED YOU HAVE TO LEAVE NOW!" Punz shouted, trying to push Purpled away.

"I AM NOT LEAVING YOU!"

Punz was all Purpled had left of a family. Messed up or not, they were brothers.

"YOU'RE GOING TO DIE IF YOU STAY HERE!" Punz shouted, trying to convince the boy to leave him.

"AND YOU'LL DIE IF I LEAVE!"

Ponk was helping remove the concrete, and the two had gotten pretty far. They were finally able to pull him out and stand him up.

"My leg is broken," Punz said. Purpled wrapped one of his brother's arms around his shoulders and helped him walk.

There was an exit not far from where they were, and were soon enough out.

The fresh night air cut into their throats like a blade. They all started coughing obnoxiously from inhaling too much smoke.

"Purpled?" Purpled looked up and saw Eret, Puffy, Niki, Foolish, and Jack. They were pointing guns at Antfrost, Bad, and Skeppy who had tried to escape.

"Punz," Eret said. "Nice of you to join us. We were just telling these guys how they will stand trial in front of the boss. You'll be joining them."

"Eret," Purpled said. "I know Punz betrayed the organization, but he's hurt. Can he at least get help before he faces trial? He's my brother."

"I'm sorry Purpled," Eret said. "It might not matter."

Jack went around and cuffed Bad, Ant, and Skeppy. He then cuffed Punz and helped him walk over to the rest.

A limo showed up, and everyone there stiffened. Except Ponk who had no idea what the hell was going on.

The car door opened and a person stepped out, which caused everyone to feel fear pierce them.

The person wore tight black jeans, a black turtleneck, and tight black boots. They had a long green cape that draped down to their heels, and had the hood pulled up, hiding their hair. They wore a porcelain white masked that had an 'X' and a 'D' carved into it. The cape's clasp looked like a green/teal eyes and the pupil was a slit, and it was outlined with gold that had little dangles of  diamond embedded gold handing down.

Their whole aura seemed to glow and their presence commanded attention.

"Exde," Eret said.

"Silence. I will make my judgment on you all now, since I'm already here."

"I'm so sorry," Ponk said, Exde turning to him. "But who are you and what's going on?"

"Your friend, Purpled, can explain to you later," Exde said. "He has a pardon."

Exde then turned to face everyone else. "Eret, I gave you sight and what do you do? You don't use it to watch the sins and make sure they are safe. Foolish, I took you in and you too allow such things to happen. Puffy and Niki, this happened on your break and so I can't exactly blame you for it. You two get a pardon."

Niki and Puffy nodded and quietly thanked Exde. Foolish and Eret got more anxious.

"Despite your faults, if it weren't for the traitors in front of us and the overpowering influence of the sins' curses this would never have happened," Exde continued. "Eret and Foolish, I will excuse you this once."Eret and Foolish sighed in relief.

Exde turned to Bad, Ant, Skeppy, and Punz and the four froze in fear.

"Not only did you discriminate and did unspeakable thing against the sins, you betrayed an organization and risked the exposure of many different operations in your climb for something more powerful than your mortal minds can comprehend."

The four looked down, trying their best not to cough because of the smoke in their lungs.

"You will come to headquarters and will remain locked up there until you've learned your lesson and all this is sorted out."

Exde then went up to Bad and whispered. "Where's all the research you did?"

"It's umm, inside the building," Bad answered.

"Who else knows?"

"Sam," Bad muttered. "Awesome Dude."

Exde nodded and sighed. "Jack! I want to meet with Awesome Dude tomorrow afternoon."

Jack nodded and immediately wrote it in his phone.

Without another word, Exde went into the limo followed by the four traitors and Jack Manifold. And then the car drove off.

"Purpled, you're welcome to stay with Foolish and I as long as you want," Eret said. Purpled smiled nodded.

"Thank you."

The six of them walked around, and noticed a group of people who probably shouldn't be there.

The closer they got, they noticed it was the sins and some others.

"WILBUR!" Niki shouted, running to her friend. She enveloped him in a hug, but quickly pulled away when he muttered a quiet 'ow'.

Ponk stood awkwardly a bit away from Sam. Foolish was standing next to Eret, stealing glances towards Sam and Ponk. Purpled nodded to Ranboo and Tubbo, but was looking around for Tommy.

"Where is Tommy?" Purpled asked.

"He was inside when the building collapsed," Wilbur said.

"I can't help but feel responsible," Dream sighed.

"WELL NO SHIT DREAM!" Wilbur shouted. Everyone looked between Wilbur and Dream in confusion.

"I'm gonna quickly clear this up to save Dream from explaining this," Ponk said, everyone turning to him.

"Dream was the one to sell the sins out, in exchange the government looked for his missing sister," Ponk said.

Everyone looked furious, but Foolish, Eret, Niki, Puffy, Purpled, and Ranboo all looked guilty.

"She died protecting the sins," Eret muttered. "She wasn't even supposed to be on that mission."

Techno turned to Dream and slowly walked forward.

"You uprooted so many lives for your own selfish reasons," Techno said. "AND TOMMY COULD BE DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU! I HAVE HALF A MIND TO BREAK YOUR NECK RIGHT NOW!"

Dream looked to George, who refused to meet his eye, and then he looked to Quackity who was glaring at him. Dream looked down, realizing how much he screwed up.

He walked over to Ranboo and whispered. "I am so sorry for hurting you. You never have to forgive me, but don't shut people out."

Dream then took off sprinting towards the flaming building, determined to find Tommy.

"TOMMY!" Dream shouted. Even if Tommy was alive and conscious, he wouldn't respond to him.

"TOMMY I'M HERE TO GET YOU OUT!"

He desperately looked around, smoking filling his lungs and fire burning his skin. Dream looked under a pile and saw Tommy's hair covered in ashes.

Dream moved concrete off him and pulled his out. The uniform he was wearing had come off and his clothes were tattered. He was unconscious and he had clearly inhaled too much smoke.

Dream carried him, stumbling around the wreckage. He did his best to protect Tommy from the flames, muttering apologies and encouraging words.

***

As the ashes drifted over to them, Phil grabbed something out of the air.

Techno looked over, trying to calm down. The twins didn't want to believe what their father was holding. Phil's eyes welled up with tears as he looked at the red cloth in his hand.

"It's the same material Tommy was wearing," Wilbur choked, grabbing the cloth.

Ranboo walked over and squatted next to Wilbur. "It probably just came off his sleeve," Ranboo soothed. "He's gonna be fine."

"Look!" Tubbo shouted, pointing back to the building.

Everyone saw Dream carry Tommy out of the flames.

"Oh my god," Phil muttered, running forward. He grabbed Tommy from Dream and hurried back over to the group. "Techno call 911!"

Techno quickly pulled out his phone and called them.

It was five minutes until an ambulance arrived, and the people looked at everyone and sighed. "Everyone's coming to get checked on. No arguments, you're too close to the fire."

They allowed Tommy, Wilbur, Dream, Purpeld, Ponk, and Phil in one, while the others had to wait for another few ambulances to arrive.

The doctors were horrified at everyone's injuries. Everyone had inhaled smoke, and some had suffered burns. Dream and Wilbur had cuts and bruises from their fight, Hannah had cuts and burns from the cuffs. Sam, Hannah, Tommy and Wilbur were all malnourished. And Tommy had suffered cuts and almost suffocated due to being under heavy concrete for a long time.

"So he's still alive?" Wilbur asked, desperation in his voice.

"Just barely, but he'll live," the nurse smiled.

They all made it to the hospital and no one was allowed to see each other for a few hours, which tortured everyone who wanted to check on Tommy.

Wilbur was the first one who got to see Tommy and sat down in the chair next to his bed.

Tommy had bandages all over him and had tubes in his nose to help him breathe. His eyes fluttered open and Wilbur almost cried being able to see Tommy's blue eyes again.

"How are you Toms?" Wilbur asked with a smile.

"Ready to insult some rain," Tommy said, completely serious. "How about you big man?"

"A lot better that I now know you're alright," Wilbur said.

"It'll take a lot more than that to get rid of me."

Everyone was able to go home, except Sam, Hannah, Purpeld, Ponk, and Dream. It was about one in the morning. Now, Techno and Phil were in the waiting room restless to see Wilbur and Tommy.

Wilbur was able to go home in the morning, they had "cleaned" his lungs and tended to his injuries. They gave him simple instructions and told that he was free to go the next day.

After a few minutes of Tommy being conscious, he was more awake and was able to sit up.

"You don't really know how hot fire is until you touch it," Tommy said.

"Clearly," Tubbo chuckled. Ranboo and Tubbo snuck into the room, while Techno and Phil sorted out medical payment shit for Wilbur and Tommy.

Tommy was going to have to stay in the hospital for at least a week, but they were willing to do anything to keep him safe and healthy.

"You can impress all those women you're talking about with your burns and scars," Ranboo smiled.

"I like how you think Mr. Boo," Tommy smiled.

"Please tell me which women exactly you'll be impressing," Wilbur said with a smirk.

"All of them."

The door opened and a nurse came in. She looked at Ranboo and Tubbo, who immediately looked guilty. "I won't say anything," she smiled.

She went over to check all of Tommy's things to make sure everything was ok. "I'll be back with a snack, your blood sugar is a bit low."

She was back in five minutes with a small coke can and a rice krispie. She handed the snack to Tommy with a smile and left.

"See," Tommy said with a smirk. The three laughed and Wilbur stood up.

"I need to use the restroom, I'll be right back."

Tommy watched as Wilbur left and as soon as the door shut, his face dropped.

"Tommy?" Tubbo asked. "You good mate?"

"I can't bring myself to tell Will or Techno or Phil," Tommy said, sadness in every word. "But I need to tell you two."

"Tommy?" Ranboo asked, his voice close to cracking.

"I'm not gonna make it," Tommy's voice cracked, his voice low. "The doctors know deep down inside that I'm not gonna make it. I can feel it. It hurts to breath, my whole body is in searing pain. It's taking everything in me to not slip into unconsciousness. Heck, I can't feel my legs."

Tubbo stood up and hugged Tommy, tears running down their faces. "It looks bad now Toms, but you're gonna make it through this."

Tommy shook his head. "No, I need you. I need someone to under that I'm not gonna make it. We all have to except that."

"No. No I'm not," Tubbo cried. "You're gonna live Bossman."

"Tubbs, Mr. Boo," Tommy smiled, tears still streaming down his face. "You are my best friends. Bury me in my dino hoodie. You better fucking wear yours at my funeral."

"Ok," Ranboo said. Tubbo looked at him in shock. "What do you want at your funeral?"

"All my friends. Everyone who was there for Wilbur and I'd escape. Can you two and Wilbur speak at it?" Tommy asked.

"Of course," Ranboo smiled. Tubbo nodded, wiping the tears from his face.

"Sure big man. Anything you want," Tubbo answered, finally accepting the truth.

"I honestly don't care. Funerals aren't for the one that died, but a way for others to mourn for them. I learned that when my mom died."

The two hugged him again. This was their goodbye. At least they got a goodbye.

***

It was only an hour later when it happened. All the machines went wack.

Phil, Techno, and Wilbur stood up and ran to get help. Tubbo and Ranboo stood by Tommy's side. They weren't going to leave him in his final moments.

"It's so cold," Tommy whispered.

He looked at Tubbo and said "Thank you for being my best friend, my brother."

Tommy then looked at Ranboo. "I've always found you very hot, Ranboo. Thank you for not shutting me out."

And then Tommy Minecraft let out a sigh. It sounded so freeing that the other two almost felt jealous.

The heart monitor drew out a single line and a never ending monotone beep filled the room. Tommy laid there like he was a sleep, but he wasn't. A small smile on his face, looking at Ranboo, and the absence of his breath made it clear he wasn't asleep.

Will, Phil, and Techno ran back in, a nurse following them. Wilbur was the first to run back into the room. He saw the scene and broke.

Wilbur cried into the sheets of the bed, Phil burying his face in Techno's shoulder. Ranboo refused to look away from his friend.

And Tubbo. Tubbo who had known Tommy since they were four and five years old. Tubbo who considered Tommy a brother was sitting by his dead best friend's side. Silent tears streamed down his face.

"I won't let him be forgotten."

Notes:

One more chapter! I do realize there are some mistakes here and there, and I’ll eventually maybe get around to fixing them.

But one more chapter after this and the story will come to an end. It’s been writing this and I almost cried because I don’t want it to be over. But another story is coming soon, and it will be a lot more organized than this.

(This was the starter pack)

Anyways! I love you all so much! Thank you for the support and making it this far through the story. <3

Chapter Text

The sun was shining and there was a cool breeze that danced through the trees and shook the grass blades. Despite the beautiful morning, everyone could still smell the ash from the previous night.

Lust, cursed to only have passionate desires, no longer wore his beanie at the moment. It sat on the counter, waiting to be cleaned of ash and the smell of smoke. The distant sounds of sobbing and two men trying to comfort their fiancé drifted through the quiet house.

Gluttony, cursed to constantly have an over-indulgence of food, drink, or wealth items, sat deciding whether to sleep the day away, or spend the next week and a half drunk with self pity.

Sloth, cursed to be reluctant to work, was now found wide awake for once, taking a jog to clear his mind of the nightmares. Nightmares of his masked friend. Nightmares of a friend now gone.

Envy, cursed to always wish to have what others do, for once not wishing what others had to be his. Wishing, for once, to give back to those he cared but could not fulfill what they longed for.

Wrath, cursed to have spirts of extreme anger, had not slept, refused to believe what was true. Wrath, who now was wishing to be dead, hoping to see his little brother again. Wrath, who refused to let light shine through the window. Who refused to speak a single word since his tears dried.

Greed, cursed to have selfish desire in increase of all. He who always wanted everything and more, he who wrote out his own demise. He who will never see his sister. He who may never get to apologize to those he wronged. There was a chance he could have lived and maybe learn to love once again. He who gave up everything in the name of the one thing he could never have.

And Pride, cursed to always have satisfaction in one's own achievements, the youngest of all the sins. The golden boy who fought the hardest for everything. The only one who was worthy to occasionally think their sin a blessing, and not a curse. Pride, who had cried as everything he loved about this beautiful world crumbled and burned to the ground. Pride, who's world was now dark.

***

A pink haired man let his hair loose. No longer pulled back in a braid.

He then let it be cut. He ran his hands through his now shoulder length hair and sighed.

"No braids," Techno sighed. It took everything in him to not cry.

He then looked out the bathroom window. He saw Wilbur in the front yard, just standing there.

Techno pulled on a jacket and headed outside. The cold afternoon air blew against his face.

"Didn't expect you to be out yet," Techno said. "You shouldn't have left the hospital yet."

"I'm alive, and I hate it," Wilbur grimaced.

"I know how you feel, though I thought I'd catch you smoking," Techno said, standing beside his twin.

"I quit for myself," Wilbur deadpanned. "I almost thought of indulging back in that fucking drug. Especially after-"

"Tommy died," Techno whispered, finishing Will's sentence. They stood there in silence, remembering their... their brother.

"The doctors said that he was gonna live. It was so sudden," Wilbur muttered. "What if he reincarnates?"

"What shit are you reading?," Techno sighed.

"I don't even know," Wilbur said, looking out to the street. Wilbur could almost imagine Tommy walking up to them with his devilish smirk on his face.

Techno stuck his hand in his pocket and pulled out two cigarettes and a lighter. "Want one?" Techno offered.

"I'm not going back to that," Wilbur said. Techno shrugged and put one back in his pocket and lit himself one. "And you shouldn't start."

"This is my way of coping," Techno retorted.

"How the fuck is that your way of coping?" Wilbur asked.

"I'm doing this to spite the gremlin," Techno deadpanned. "The only way I'm stopping is if he comes back."

Wilbur chuckled at his brother. Who would've thought that the perfect twin, who never showed any affection towards anything, would start smoking over some 'orphan' child Wilbur brought home.

"As much as I would love to light a cigar with you, I also can't because of my own health," Wilbur said.

"Understandable," Techno replied. And that's all they really said for the rest of the night.

Two brothers stood in the front yard in silence. Any onlooker would've thought they were waiting for someone. And they were. They were waiting for their little brother, their Tommy, to come running back to them with a shit eating grin on his face. They would want more than anything to be teased about showing worry for Tommy.

Just the memories of his shouts, his insults, everything was enough to make a tear slide down Wil's face.

Wilbur saw Tommy everywhere they went and it was tearing him apart. He wouldn't let it show, but he was at his breaking point.

He just wanted his little brother back.

***

They held a funeral for Tommy a few days later. Everyone wore black, except Tubbo and Ranboo.

When it was time to give their eulogies, Tubbo and Ranboo went up together.

"Hello everyone and thank you for all coming out to Tommy's funeral," Tubbo started. "First off we would like to explain why Ranboo and I are wearing dino hoodies."

"Tommy knew he wasn't going to make it so, he umm, he asked us to speak at his funeral and wear our dino hoodies. He too is also wearing his dino hoodie right now," Ranboo explained.

"Tommy was a great man. He was an obnoxious, arrogant, prideful, son of a bitch," Tubbo said. "But he was my best friend. We stuck together through thick and thin. I only wish he could be here so I could beat his ass for turning himself over to the government."

Tubbo turned away and whispered in Ranboo's ear. "Fuck, this is a lot harder than I thought."

"Despite being a sin, Tommy was a kind person and a loyal friend." Tubbo sniffed and stepped back so Ranboo could get the attention.

"After Phil took me in, I had no one. I was alone and shut everyone out," Ranboo said. "But Tommy came into my life and talked to me. He didn't ask me to explain my life to him, he just sat with me and we talked. He told me about Tubbo, Wilbur, Techno, Phil, and everyone. He would talk about all the cool things he wanted to do with me. He bought me this hoodie, and umm, he helped me get out of my room and finally talk to the people who were kind enough to let me live with them. Tommy had no reason to do any of that, but he did."

The two finished, and looked to Wilbur. He shook his head so they skipped over him. The rest of the funeral went by quickly and soon everyone started leaving.

Tubbo walked over to Schlatt and stuck his hand out. "Hi, I believe I'm your son."

"That would be correct. That makes me your father."

***

Ranboo stood in the shade of a tree, thinking about everything. And he finally came to a conclusion.

He was going to confront Dream. He was going to talk to him and then hopefully never see him again. He needed to explain things to everyone, and he was going to never forget about TommyInnit.

Everything was a mess, but it was his mess of a world and he was going to find his way through it.

Ranboo walked over to Tommy's new grave a placed down a purple flower.

"Thank you Tommy."

Notes:

I can’t believe it’s over! I came up with the idea for this story on June 21/22. It’s been five months writing and creating this story. It didn’t end as angsty as it originally was, but I think I like this ending better.

But they always say when one door closes, another opens. My next story is called “You Say Villian Like It’s A Bad Thing”.

It’s really been amazing and I can’t imagine how far this story got. I love you all and don’t forget to take care of yourselves! Bye <3
