Summary
When it comes to grief, it’s true when they say that time doesn’t heal all wounds. Another thing that they say is that healing from grief comes in five stages, but they always fail to point out that such healing was never meant to be linear.
While cleaning and packing away her things in preparation to move in with her fiancée Ren Amamiya, Makoto Niijima stumbles upon a certain item from her most prized possessions box - the item that should have given her a wave of nostalgia but instead, reminds her loss of a beloved parent.
But through processing and gaining a deeper insight regarding her grief, she comes to a conclusion that things do fall into place in the way it's meant to be.
