Work Text:
Tubbo was preparing himself to give the new member of the Dream SMP a tour of the area. He had to make sure he looked the part of a president, even though he didn't feel it. Tubbo took a deep breath in and slowly let it out, and then he slowly stepped out of his home before setting off towards the Community House to meet Ranboo.
As he got closer to the building he could feel his heart start to race and and his hands tremble. He felt his feet stop in the middle of the path not feeling like he could go on. He took yet another deep breath and forced himself to move. He was sure this Ranboo person would be nice and fine but that didn't stop the trembling in his hands.
He reached the Community House and looked inside, there he was a tall lanky half enderman, half something. Ranboo was spilt down the middle, one side white and the other black. His eyes also showed a strange split one being a bewitching green and the other being a intense red.
"Hello" the tall man called to him.
"Hi, Bossman" Tubbo replied, "You ready for a tour?"
"Of course, need to know my way round" Ranboo answered and then he gestured to a book in his hand "Do you mind if I write stuff down? Got a bad short term memory."
Tubbo looked at the book and then Ranboo, not seeing any malicious intent.
"Sure bossman, just don't write anything I say not to"
With that they began the tour, getting to know a few things about each other. Neither would know how much and also how little they would know about each other months down the line. They had no clue that the baby zombie piglin in the Nether that they put in a boat would become their adoptive son and that they would be married. Ranboo did not know at that time that his usually passive and pacifist nature could be put aside for one person and one person only. Tubbo did not know that all the hardship and betrayal would lead him to trust few people, and one person would become his home.
The two of them did not know that this relationship transcended just the universe they were in. That did not know that in many other universes they always find each other and can't let go.
