Hello everyone! I’d just like to talk about some things before the story starts – I think this background info is vital to understanding the story I am trying to portray, but if you wish to skip to the action, please head to the next chapter. That being said, a lot of the story is based off specific, subtle changes to canon/fanon (it mixes in my head a lot nowadays) that have a butterfly effect (hehe, see what I did there?) on the rest of the story – beginning with the addition of details to Harry’s childhood from birth that we just don’t know in canon.
NOTICE – while most people/places/events will be canon-compliant or close to, this is an AU, meaning that if you came for the same events but with Harry, Draco, and Pansy going on adventures and every other character is the either same, or is one-dimensional to a fault, this is not the fic for you. Any bashing written will be light and will add something to the plot. Something to remember – a lot of eleven year-olds just spout whatever their parents’ beliefs are – I know that I did, until I found that having research to back up my beliefs is important, but at eleven I just agreed with whatever my parents said was right in terms of politics etc.
