    This is my backstory for the elf Lindir from his birth, set in the early Second Age, until the end of the Eregion war.
    Born in front of the gates of Khazad-dûm, Lindir grows up close to the dwarves and also adopts some of their culture and mindset.
    As close to canon as possible, as far away from it as needed for the story.
