Quackity wake up to the sun shining bright to his face. He feel empty. He doesn't want to wake up. His whole body feel so heavy almost as if he can't move at all. He feel tired.
After a few attempts of convincing himself, he finally stand up and make his way to the bathroom not even bothered making his bed.
"I have a fucking country to run. I can't be shitting around." He scold himself for having a thought of heading to the bed again.
It's another day of a busy day at Las Nevadas. People came to his country all the time. Usually they came to gamble and their greedy self keep gambling more and more. They never learn and keep coming back. It's amusing to Quackity.
Purpled have been doing a great job guarding his country. Charlie is a headache to take care sometimes since he keep digging a hole and polluting the water with his slimy self. But Quackity couldn't been more thankful for him. Although he won't say it to his face. Fundy and Foolish need some time to adjust themselves but they been doing a great job for what Quackity have seen.
But even with all of these people around him. He still feel empty. He can't even explain what is he feeling. It's keep eating him alive. He feel like he become a zombie. Not alive, but still walking. He became a zombie and nothing can cure him. So till the night came he just stop and wish to close his eyes.
It's been hours and Quackity still can't fucking sleep. Trying to throw away the feeling of being touch starved. A tear suddenly fall from the corner of his eye following with another and soon a loud sobs and be heard from him.
He feel stupid. He feel so dumb. He still love them. No matter what he tried or how hard he tried to push away his feelings. He still fucking love him. The feeling in his chest feel tighten and his breath is getting harder almost if he is panting. No matter how hard he tried to hate them or convince himself that he hates them. He still can't. It's hard to hate them. Even though they start a country and not even bothered to tell their fiance. He can't hate them.
The sobs have been dying out and his cheeks are sticky from his dried tears. He sit up and try to take a deep breath calming himself down even if his mind have wondered off thinking where did he go wrong.
That's it. He can't do this anymore. If he can't live another day without having his fiancé clouding his mind. He will make sure that he won't leave theirs too.
The night has come. The moment he been waiting for. After weeks passed it's finally time to go and burn Kinoko Kingdom. Even the name itself irritate him. His burning anger that been killing him for months will finally get paid. There he goes to the wood alone carrying everything that he needs in his inventory. He chuckled to himself the thought of the beautiful burning fire lighting up the dark tonight. Oh what a wonderful night it's gonna be. It's didn't take him long to find a beautiful builds full of mushrooms to fit the aesthetic. Oh he is excited to ruin that. Thanks to Charlie he knew the way to go there and how to sneak in.
Sapnap been spending his time alone because Karl is too busy gathering all of his memory books in the library. Karl warned him to not bother him cause he know damn well that they're gonna spend the time being affectionate to each other than getting the jobs done. Suddenly the thought of him, Karl and Quackity laying together in bed cuddling and just spending time together went to his head. Oh how much he missed that guy. If he finally met he will sure to shower him with bunch of kisses.
Suddenly his thoughts are being interrupted by the sudden shine of lights from the window. He know well what that source of lights come from. Although he is kind of shock he tried to keep calm and collected while he rush to the front door to go outside. Although he pretty much failed after he saw a massive fire almost eating up what he and Karl been building.
"No no no no- WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING!"
"Sapnap!" a cheery voice came behind him. A voice that he miss so much. The voice that belong to the man that he claimed he want to shower with bunch of kisses when he met. The voice that greet him with a smile. But the smile planted on his fiance face is not the warm smile that he always dreamt about. It's a smile of mocking.
"Hey hey hey what's up with the shock face? You thought you see the last of me huh? Hey come on smile a bit. At least pretend that you miss me or something." Quackity said with a grin showing his obvious mocking tone in his sentence. Sapnap is speechless. He can't believe his own eyes. "Quackity... Did- did you do this? WHY? KARL AND I HAVE BEEN WORKING HARD BUILDING THIS!" His confusion is now lead to anger and he can feel now tears started falling from the corner of his eyes.
"You guys hurt me." Quackity started walking towards Sapnap while trying his best to not let his tears fall. "You guys left me. Alone. I feel like I'm dying. Like I'm burning. So I want you to burn along with the things that you love or... maybe loved." He shrugs.
Sapnap actually can't believe this. It almost as if he can't recognize his own fiancé. His thoughts stopped as he remembers Karl. His hands went and grab Quackity shoulders. Its seems as if he is desperate maybe he is. He look around his surrounding and he saw the fire started to spread even more.
"Quackity! You- Please tell me if Karl is alright- PLEASE IS HE ALRIGHT. I CAN HANDLE THE FIRE BUT OUR FIANCÉ CAN'T QUACKITY. PLEASE IS HE STILL IN THE LIBRARY?" his tears is falling even more faster but all the answer that he got is a chuckle that lead to a laughter. A laugh that he once loved. It's makes him so mad. He is so mad that he can even think straight. What he can think about right now is Karl. He push Quackity to the ground and rush his way to the library hoping that Karl is safe.
Sapnap push Quackity hard. It's actually really hard. Quackity push away the pain and lay his head to the ground. He watch his surrounding became more crowded with fire that spreading fast. Still laughing maniacally with the thought of burning the things that Sapnap and Karl love or loved. Which including him.
Sapnap ran through the fire easily since the fire don't affect him even at the slightest. His mind is now focus on saving Karl. He rush his way to the library screaming and yelling his fiancé name. He checks every shelves and started to panic when he can't find Karl anywhere. His throat is now feeling sore from all of the yelling. But Sapnap aren't planning to stop any time soon. As he wondered fast pace around the library he heard a voice coming from a room.
"SAPNAP HELP ARE YOU THERE?" He heard him. It didn't take Sapnap seconds to rush there and notice a plank of wood blocking the way out. He easily put them away with a little strength to make sure his fiancé is safe. He found his fiancé with bunch of books that he assume is his memory books which confirmed by Karl yelling to him to help him carry it as he doesn't want to lose his memory and forget him and Quackity.
They both rush to outside and get to the safety. They both pants and breathing hardly as they just fucking went through the fire.
"Sapnap!" Sapnap is startled by Karl's sudden raise in his voice but still answered him. "Yes Karl?" "WHERE the honk is Quackity?!" The way that Karl voice raised Sapnap assumed that he is mad and tried to calm him down.
"Karl I'm sure he have his reasons he said that he is hurt and we-" Sapnap soon is interrupted by Karl "I KNOW I KNOW GOD I KNOW BUT HE- HE IS STILL IN THERE!" "What- what do you mean- Karl-" "No no no Sapnap please he is still in there IM SURE! He- he left me a note saying that he will burn everything that we love and loved and- and I'm scared that- please Sapnap I'm begging you please go check if he is still in there. I don't want to lose him please." Karl trembling hands went through his hoodie pocket and give Sapnap a half burnt note while tears are roaming from his eyes.It's the same thing that Quackity told him. His hand went to Karl's shoulders and and squize it to give a sort of comfort. "Wait here okay I will find him don't worry."
He run. God knows how hard he is running right now. The thought of Quackity leaving him forever pained him. He can't let that happen. He rush to the spot where he remembers clearly how he harshly push Quackity to the floor. The sudden feel of guilt rush through him.
"No no no no QUACKITY-" His fiance is laying there on the ground looking pale as bunch of wood planks from the building is being on the top of him. As hard as Sapnap doesn't want to be panic he is sure having a hard time doing so.
He ignore the feeling of his own trembling hands and push away the planks of wood. Quackity laying there helpless. Sapnap try to wake him up but it seems that Quackity already passed out. Sapnap check his fiancé heartbeat and thank the god of Primes that he is still alive.
He carry Quackity in his hands and shelter him from any flicker of fire that have the slightest chance to hurt him. Sapnap bring Quackity to Karl and Karl immediately shower him with kisses from his forehead to his cheeks while tears still falling. Something that Sapnap want to do when he meets Quackity. But he didn't.
Sapnap and Karl soon come to an agreement to bring Quackity to Las Nevadas to heal his wound and bruises from the fire. They both heard of it before and never bothered to go there as they both are busy with their own country that now is burn to dust.
They both felt very sorry and guilty for hurting their fiancé. Especially Karl because he recalled that he forgot to tell Quackity about their country that lead to Quackity feeling neglected. They both soon arrived and saw the sign that says Las Nevadas. They are sure at the right place.
They went near it and saw a sort of guard with a suit. "Is that Purpled?" "Oh shit yeah I think that's him. Hey! Purpled!" Sapnap wave his hands to get his attention which didn't take long.
"Sapnap what are you doing here? Oh what the fuck happen to him?! What did you do to him?!!" Purpled didn't hesitate to pull a netherite sword to Sapnap face.
"Ohhh what the honk Purpled calm down we can explain."
"Make it fast. I thought you guys left him for good." Purpled aim the sword a lil more higher and closer to Sapnap's chin.
"We didn't! It- Just- A misunderstanding. Please just get him some help."
"Okay fine." Purpled lower his sword and keep it in his inventory. "Follow me. There are an emergency room over there I'm sure they can make it fast for the president."
Sapnap and Karl just nodded slowly and follow Purpled from behind. Las Nevadas is sure is breathtaking. The building is build with such details. They saw a bridge above a small pond being covered with flowers and such. It's pretty they thought.
Quackity get the help that he needed and the nurses just did their job. Sapnap and Karl just sit there awkwardly not knowing what to do with Purpled glaring at them from time to time. The nurse offered to take care of their visible wounds too which they declined at first but the nurse didn't actually give them a choice anyway.
Karl and Sapnap sit beside Quackity with Sapnap on his right and Karl on his left. So many thoughts went through their heads as they wait for Quackity to wake up.
Some faces show up and soon they learn that Fundy and Foolish also live in Las Nevadas and a Charlie guy who claim he is not a slime that apparently really like digging a hole. Charlie seems really worried for Quackity. It's makes them glad that Quackity have these wonderful people for him but it still pains them that they weren't there for when he needed them.
Few hours went by and Quackity finally wake up. His head feels heavy and hurt. His whole body ached and he can feel the pain in his wounds. "What the fuck-" He sort of thought that he was dead until he saw two familiar guy on laying on the each side of his bed.
He confusion soon lead to anger and pain. His trembling hands slowly cups his whole face as he sobs quietly. But apparently it's not that quiet since it woke both of his fiancés.
"Hey hey hey Q what's wrong? Are you okay?" Sapnap asks his hand reach out to pull Quackity hands from his face.
Karl didn't say anything but he sit up properly to give Quackity a hug. A comforting one. A hug that feels belong. That feels like home. Sapnap soon joins the hug and give soft pat on his back. Quackity breaks down even harder.
"WHAT THE FUCK! WHY THE FUCK DO YOU EVEN SAVE ME?! I FUCKING TRIED TO KILL YOU GUYS. I- YOU GUYS SUPPOSE TO SAVED EACH OTHER NOT ME. WHY why why... "
"Because we love you Q. We love you so much" Karl said softly as he plant some kisses on Quackity eyes to his cheeks.
"Quackity. We know that we messed up and hurt you unknowingly. As your fucking fiancé I should have tried harder and not hurt you. And I'm so fucking sorry for even pushing you I don't know what I'm even thinking. Please I'm so sorry." Sapnap said not caring even if the tears keep falling. He hug Quackity even more harder. Quackity is speechless. Why are they so forgiving? Why?
"I literally burn down your country. Why are you guys aren't mad at me?"
Sapnap chuckle slightly as he speaks "Karl already said it Q. We love you. We love you so much it's hurt. The thought of losing you again hurt. So much."
"And because of that reason if you don't mind. Can you accept your dumbass fiancés again in your life and we open a new book together? Please?" Karl said with a warm smile planted on his face while looking to Quackity still haven't let go from the hug. They receives a slight chuckle from Quackity followed by a warm smile.
"Only because you say please."
