“Hi Fred. I'm sorry.” She whispered as twirled with the bracelet under her sleeve. “I'm sorry we never got the chance to really get to know each other. I'm sorry that I was always on your back about your products.” She took in a deep breath as she looked over to George, who was still staring at the same spot but she knew he was listening. “I just wanted you to know I thought you were brilliant, I thought your products were amazing. I'm sorry I never got a chance to say it before.” She gently reached for his hand and when her hand touched his, everything happened at the same time.
Fred died at the battle of Hogwarts. And Hermione went to the great hall to say goodbye to him, to the man she never really knew. But then everything changed when she reached over and touched his hand.
