Being raised in the church, Mark takes marriage very seriously. Something about vulnerability like that made him uneasy, to let someone in long enough that their presence is embedded in your bones, your heart, your mind, your very soul. For awhile he had come to the conclusion that he would probably just be alone, it’s not that he didn’t like anybody or didn’t find the girls at church or school attractive, even when he dated Jinsoul he absolutely adored her introduced her to his mom even, but marriage? It didn’t sound right in his head, he didn’t think could like or love someone enough to consider living with them, spending the rest of eternity with them, being bound together in mind, body and soul.
