Summary
There is a bittersweet sense of stability in the fixing of others, especially since I am too wearied to fix myself. It's not a solution to the ambiguous, murky nature of my own self-actualizing, but it's a balm much needed in the days and the years following the war's end. I cling to the familiar in an attempt to rectify all the ways in which my life has veered impressively off course. Before me lies yet another fork in this winding road and, to take the path less traveled, to reach for that which is so expertly scorned, could be my undoing.
