Silver is extremely confused on how he got here in the first place.
After Sonic and Elise erased Solaris for the timeline, the events leading to Silver's birth were erased with it. So Silver should of been erased with Solaris as well.
But here he is at Sonic's birthday party awkwardly holding a cup of some weird bubbly liquid that he honestly scared of drinking.
After Solaris was erased he was sent to some weird white, timeless void thing. He couldn't do anything there except wander around aimlessly.
Silver also eventually ran into some weird time eating monster that for some reason reminded him of Mephiles. But there's no way that it could actually be him right. He should of gotten erased with Solaris. Silver is probably just paranoid
Sonic and his surprisingly quiet past self were able to save the day and defeat the time eater with their super forms. Sonic's and Tails' past selves returned back to the past while everyone returned to the present to celebrate Sonic's birthday.
Silver didn't intend to stay for the party, even if he was very hungry, mostly due to literally everyone there not knowing who he was.
After Solaris' erasure everyone forgot what happened during Silver's little time traveling adventure. This includes Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Rouge, Omega, Amy and even... Blaze...
Silver thought he was hallucinating when he first saw her, but there she was. She was breathing, smiling, laughing. But she was definitely not the same person who died trying to seal Iblis away. She was apparently the Princess of an alternate dimension, completely different from Silver's old childhood friend. And, of course, she doesn't remember him.
It hurt a lot when she introduced herself to him like they haven't haven't met before. Well... they haven't, but that's beside the point.
Silver was stopped before he could leave however by Sonic.
"Hey! You know it's not very nice to walk away from a party you're invited to?"
"W-wait! Invited?! But you do-"
"You helped us with that Time Monster! I think you deserve a little bit of cake y'know! Plus who said we couldn't get to know eachother right now," Sonic interupted.
Silver doesn't know if this would be less or more awkward if Sonic remembered that Silver tried killing him.
"So..." Sonic started, "Where are you from?"
"Oh um..." Silver hesitates, is it really a good idea to tell Sonic about crisis city?
"The... uh... um... future..."
"THE FUTURE?! WOAH THATS SO COOL!" Sonic said loudly, to Silver's displeasure.
"Oh uh yeah it's um very... interesting..." Silver replied quietly.
"Wow tell me more! What's it like? Oh! What's my future?"
Silver laughs awkwardly, sweats falling down his muzzle, "I mean I'm from 200 years in the future so you're uh long dead by then so I really don't know..."
"200 eh? Is there flying cars?" Sonic seems very interested in Silver's future much to his discomfort.
"Uh... haha... I'm actually really hungry I don't think I have eaten for a while" Silver desperately changes the subject.
Sonic eyes widen, "Oh really? Just wait here!"
Sonic disappears in a flash of blue and immediately returned with a cup.
"Here Silver! You're chilidog is still being cooked so stay here!" Sonic hands him the cup and speeds away once more.
Now Silver is standing next to a tree alone with a cup filled with green, bubbly, strange liquid.
Looking around he sees familiar and unfamiliar faces enjoying themselves.
Blaze is playing with a little bunny girl with some like floaty blue thing next to her, Knuckles is chatting with a chameleon, a bee is bugging Tails and he's working on his plane, a crocodile is arm wrestling Omega. Man... Sonic has some weird friends.
Silver turns around to see a pink hedgehog spying on him. The surprise causes him to spill the suspicious liquid on himself.
"Gah! Why are you staring at me?!"
"Oh sorry! Sorry! Sorry! I didn't mean to startle you!" Amy apologizes, "My name is Amy."
"Yeah I know."
"Huh?"
"I-I mean h-hello Amy! Nice to meet you!" Silver said in a panic.
"Haha you're kinda weird," Amy replied, "Sorry for staring at you I was trying to memorize what you look like so I don't accidentally confuse you for Sonic later."
"Oh uh that would be awkward if you did that," Silver replied, awkwardly.
"Now that I look at you, you look more like Shadow than you look like Sonic honestly," Amy said as she inspected him, "Oh wait you don't know who that is."
"Uh... no... I don't know who that is," Silver said knowing fully well who Shadow is.
Amy points to the black hedgehog who's currently grilling some hotdogs while arguing with Sonic about something, "That's Shadow, people tend to confuse him for Sonic for some reason even though they look completely different. Y'know I would NEVER confuse that emo boy for Sonic!"
Silver gets the feeling she probably confused him for sonic at one point.
"Anyway I'm going to hang out with Blaze and Cream talk to you later!" Amy said as she ran towards her friends.
As Amy left Sonic suddenly speeds in with a plate with a chilidog on it, "Here you go man! Enjoy!"
Silver hesitates but eventually takes a bite, amazed by how good it tasted.
"You like it?" Sonic asked.
Silver nods.
"Ha! I knew you would like it," Sonic grinned, "Chilidogs are my favorite food and Shadow makes the best chilidogs!"
Sonic notices Silver's empty cup, "Hey you need a refill for your Baja Blast?"
Silver looked at Sonic, being extremely confused.
Sonic picked up the cup, "It's the drink that used to be in this cup."
"Oh," Silver realized, "Yeah I accidentally spilled it."
"Let me fill this up for you then!"
Sonic was about to speed off but Silver grabbed him before he left, "Uh can you just get me some water please..."
"Alright... It's your loss though!" Sonic speed off and returned with a water bottle.
Sonic tossed Silver the water bottle, "So are you planning on returning to the future or what?"
Silver almost choked when Sonic said that. Even if Silver used chaos control to travel to the future, it's not like he belonged there. He was never born in this timeline so there's not a family he could return to.
"Well... uh... I don't know how to return the future." Silver lied.
"Hmm... is that so," Sonic frowned, "Let me guess... you don't have anywhere to stay do you?"
Silver nodded his head.
Sonic stood there thinking for a moment, "Hmm... Ah! I got it!"
Sonic speed off once again and returned a couple minutes later, "After the follow me okay, I got you a place to stay."
