Summary
Sonic had stayed in Camelot for eight years as their king, only to be killed by an enchanted sword and have his soul and body return to his home realm, where only two months have passed. Having no way to return to Camelot and finding himself wanting to leave his home less and less, Sonic returns to his role as a brother and hero of the planet.
However, before he can relax and be free of any duties, his old companion and enchanted sword Caliburn appears in his realm pleading for the king's return.Finding a compromise, Sonic returns to Camelot with Tails by his side. Ready to fight off those who invaded the kingdom he swore to protect eight years ago, but also with a plan to return back to Mobius once done. But his enemy has other plans and soon Sonic finds out the truth of who he really is and why he so easily jumps from realm to realm.

Summary
Sonic had been held captive for six months, locked away in a dark, small cell, alone and isolated from the world, forgotten. No one was coming to save him.
Sonic ran his dirty, gloved hand over his heavy, swollen belly, feeling the kicks and wiggles just under his touch. The hoglet rested deep in his pelvis, ready to be born. His waters had broken hours before, garnering Eggman and the masked jackal’s attention. They had come to his lonely cell hours before to watch him pace his small cell.
When Sonic was captured six months ago, he didn't know he was pregnant. Now, with little hope of rescue, he is about to give birth.

All while doing his best to separate the faces of the friends he loves with who are now strangers. For someone that's flown over fields of churning lava and fought to save the world multiple times, why is this the hardest thing he's ever had to do? How is he supposed to lie to a father that treats him with such care? How is he supposed to react to a home that welcomes him as one of its own?
