It was called the 'Great War'.
Paperjam sighs loudly as he turns the pages of the textbooks his teachers forced him to read. Learning how 'evil' his father was made him want to vomit, he did not understand why everyone wanted to stress the point across to him about this.
Paperjam knew and understood that his father was the Destroyer of Worlds. The ERROR. One of the most powerful and sinister monsters ever known.
Paperjam blinks suddenly, the room was being rocked-
The whole place starts to crumble and he quickly becomes liquid and escapes the falling building without waiting for his teachers.
On the outside he breathes a sigh of relief and shook his skull, he was strong and made mostly of liquid; that would not have hurt him.
Strange laughter made him slowly turn his skull, he sees the 'SOULless' ERROR everyone had mentioned throughout his whole life... he felt terror wash over his SOUL when he saw him and froze in place.
"*huh?" The ERROR hums out when seeing him, his voice was ever charging, seemingly he was not able to control the pitch or tune, "oh. ya this abnormity i heard about.
'*I'm dead!' Paperjam's mind screams at him, he tries to will himself to move but instead, he fell to his knees. Closing his sockets, he waits for his youth life to end.
-he felt something gentle touch the top of his skull.
Opening his sockets, he blinks up at the grinning ERROR.
"*ya not as good looking as me. but ya halfway there." The ERROR vainly told him, he takes his hand away and stares at the glitching thing, "yeah. ya liquid. can't believe my offspring is like this."
"*Offspring." Paperjam mumbles out in surprise, he continues to stare at the ERROR, he had been told that the ERROR would kill anyone on sight and with the Destroyer being a SOULless creature, he could not recognize one of his offspring.
"*don't worry. i'll kill ya last." The ERROR tells him, "as an honour of ya being my cute little skully."
The ERROR turns and starts moving away.
Paperjam felt eyes burning in his sockets, it was the first time someone had treated him so kindly and called him 'cute', even when by skeletons standards, he was ugly.
"*Father!" Paperjam cries out while leaping to his feet and daring to rush over to the ERROR, who turned to look at him in shock, "Please! Take me with you!"
"*what? ok?" The ERROR told him and opens a glitching portal.
Paperjam walks through and was surprised to see another skully.
"*this is goth." The ERROR explains as he closes the portal, "my brother's bratling. ya my bratling. so he won't mind ya staying here while i work. my home is not fit for a young soul like ya self."
Paperjam gave a watery smile to his newly discovered cousin.
