Day-17 Prompt: A Gentle Man
Note- The members of Konoha 11 are 19 years of old.
The Fourth Shinobi War was finally over and the Shinobi Alliance were victorious. Naruto and Sakura were also successful in bringing Sasuke back to Konoha after a lot of confrontations. The dead were honoured for their sacrifices by Konoha 11 (now, that Neji wasn't alive). The Shinobi War managed to bring the countries together and everything was peaceful, minus the evidences that Kaguya may stil have her remains around the continent.
The first get-together after the War was organized by our favourite blonde knucklehead, Uzumaki Naruto after Sasuke returned back to Konoha from his journey of redemption. Naruto has finally acknowledged Hinata after seeing her courage during the war. She almost gave up her life to protect him. That was the first time, he acknowledged her strengths. She wasn't a stuttering mess anymore in front of him.
The reunion consisted of every member of Konoha 11 (including Sai) along with their Jounin Senseis (minus, Asuma-sensei). The Hokage and the academy class teachers were also invited. It seemed that almost everyone of Konoha 11 were dating someone or the other. Naruto was dating Hinata and Sakura was finally dating her first-crush-cum-love Sasuke.
And this brings us to the scene where Uchiha Sasuke was sulking because he was being forced by his girlfriend to attend the party. He always had a weakness for Sakura's puppy dog green-green eyes and the annoying woman knew it so she was using it to her advantage to convince him.
"Please, Sasuke-kun. Everyone will be present."
Sasuke tried not to fall for her tricks and adamantly replied, "No."
"But, it will be nice."
"Tch."
He looked away from her. He thought he would hear her childish whining but that didn't come.....yet. He would never understand how such an accomplished woman, yes, woman could be so childish at times. She was an important member of The Three Deadlock, for Kami's sake. She was a saviour and warrior both and so many people would have lost their lives if she didn't save them.
A soft hand clasped his large, rough, shinobi hands and Sasuke snapped his eyes to Sakura. She interlocked their fingers together and continued looking at him with pleading green eyes.
Damn.
He was always a sucker for green eyes.
And this annoying woman had the most beautiful, the clearest and the gentlest green eyes.
He shook his head and resigned to his fate. He conceded to her requests and almost went deaf when she squealed loudly. Seems like some of her childish tendencies still retained. She pressed a chaste kiss on his lips and jumped from the couch to get ready for the reunion.

Sakura happily swung her and Sasuke's interlocked hands and walked towards the bar where the get together was to be held. Sasuke was a never a person of PDA but if this made Sakura happy, then he was content too. And weren't couples supposed to hold hands and kiss always? The last thought made Sasuke blush. Ofcourse, they had their first kiss but they didn't go anymore further than that......yet.
Entering the bar, they could hear the loud and boisterous voice of Naruto. He was arguing with Kiba over scaredy-cats? Hinata was trying to placate her loud boyfriend but was failing miserably. The others were doing their usual stuff. From the farthest corner of the bar, they could hear Tsunade shouting for more sake and Kakashi flipping the pages of his book non-chalantly.
Ino was the first one to notice the entry of Sasuke and Sakura. She wagged her eyebrows after looking at their joined hands pointedly.
"So Forehead, you could convince Sasuke-kun then."
Sakura flipped her hair and replied sassily, "What do you take me for, Ino-pig?"
Ino narrowed her eyes at her nicknames but let it pass for the time-being.
The night progressed and everyone was sporting a faint blush on their cheeks due to the sake consumption. Even Hinata had sake and was leaning against Naruto who was sprouting declarations about him 'becoming the Hokage, dattebayo' though he wasn't much drunk.

The questions turned personal as the time passed. It was now based on everyone's relationships.
Ino looked at Sasuke and asked him, "So, Sasuke-kun, what do you like about our dear Sakura?"
Sakura looked at him eagerly for the answers and he noticed that everyone was looking at him with anticipation for his answer.
Kiba piped in with a, "He must love her body." (He received a glare from Sasuke)
Shikamaru nodded his head and said, "He must like her for her intelligence."
Her intelligence was attractive but no, that wasn't it.
Naruto yelled out, "I know. Teme likes Sakura-chan because of her beautiful eyes."
Yes, he liked her eyes. No. He loved her eyes but that wasn't the answer either.
He sighed and realized that he wouldn't get away from answering. He lifted up their still intertwined fingers and cleared his throat before answering, "I love her hands the most. She has soft and gentle hands even after being a kunoichi. She has the power to heal and destroy in her hands."
Everyone gaped at him in shock. He spoke so many words at once. Sasuke lifted a curious eyebrow at their reaction.
Sakura's fingers squeezed his and he looked at her. Her eyes were glossy at his gentle demeanour and care in his eyes while looking at her. She hugged him and mumbled something against his chest.
He brought their hands together and kissed her knuckle contently.
The others still remained shocked at his blatant gentle show of affection.
