Summary
Crowley’s pupils are feral, blown wild. He turns his head and stares at Aziraphale. Their faces are too close like this, the sides of their bodies pressed together as Aziraphale bears the full weight of the demon’s body. He feels Crowley’s sour ale breath gusting against his cheek, smells the sweat and misery leaking from his hellish counterpart’s every pore. None of it repels him. Crowley, he thinks, could never disgust him.
“A demon in your bed?” Crowley hisses. There’s no bite to the question. His expression is as open and confused as a newborn’s. “You’d allow that?”

Aziraphale loves all of the Almighty's creations, as is befitting an angel. So why is it so hard to let himself love Crowley?
