The six youngest members of BTS were sitting in a circle in the middle of the living room in their dorm. All day they had been playing many different games to entertain themselves, while their eldest hyung was off taking an extra vocal lesson from a special vocal couch who had come all the way from the United States.
They had a week long break before their schedules started again, so the members decided to use the time to bond even more and spend some quality time with each other. And although Jin was not with them, the rest of the members decide to start their bonding activities.
“Come on, guys. Hyung is going to be home soon, so we should start cleaning.” Spoke up Namjoon.
“Ugh.” Groaned the maknae line.
“Can’t we do it later?” Whined Jimin as he stood up and collapsed on the couch.
“If hyung sees this mess when he gets home he’s gonna get mad.” Informed Hoseok as he looked around the messy room and cringed. He himself didn’t like seeing the mess.
“Whatever.” Laughed Jungkook. “Hyung would never get mad at me.” He smirked confidently. “I can just tell him you guys were a bad influence on me and he’ll believe me.”
“Yeah sure.” Sarcastically said Yoongi while rolling his eyes. “Let me know how that works out for you.”
“You’re just jealous that hyung always goes easier on me than he does on you.” Teased the youngest.
“Ha, that’s a lie. If hyung goes easier on anyone it’s me.” Interrupt Taehyung. “All I have to do is say I’m sorry and he lets me off the hook.”
“Oh come on!” Exaggeratingly groaned Jimin. “Look at these eyes.” He said as he pointed up to his face. “One look from these and hyung would let me get away with murder.”
Yoongi rolled his eyes again. “Never in a million years would hyung fall for that.”
“He would actually!” Shot back Jimin. “You’re just mad that you don’t have the charm like us maknaes. Maybe if you did hyung wouldn’t be so stern with you.”
Yoongi scoffed and narrowed his eyes. “Well, if I broke down crying and begging like you all do, then Jin hyung would easily give in. But unlike you guys, I actually choose to take my punishments with dignity.”
Taehyung began to laugh. “Okay, keep telling yourself that. Whatever makes you feel better.”
“It’s true!” Defended Yoongi.
“Come on, guys. Let’s just clean.” Tried to calm Namjoon.
“No! If you guys are so confident that Jin hyung will go easy on you, then let’s have a competition. Let’s all be on our worst behavior and see who hyung explodes on first.” Announced Yoongi.
Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook all looked at Yoongi with intrigued eyes.
“We’re listening.” Encouraged Jimin.
“The second you’re punished, you’re out of the competition. The last one to be punished is the winner.”
“And what’s in it for the winner?” Hummed Jungkook curiously.
“I don’t know.” Shrugged Yoongi. “Bragging rights, I guess.”
“Oh! I have an idea. Bragging rights and the rest of the members have to be their servant for a whole week.” Excitedly added Jungkook.
“That’s a good idea!” Agreed the other two maknaes.
Namjoon groaned. “I don’t know about this, guys. It doesn’t sound like a good idea.”
“Come on, Namjoonie hyung. It’s just a friendly competition. We’re just trying to have a little fun.” Encouraged Taehyung.
Namjoon groaned again, he didn’t like this idea. But he was also curious to see what would happen. “Okay, fine.” He answered. The other members cheered and patted him on the back.
“Okay, so rules.” Continued Yoongi. “Like I said, once you’re punished, you’re out. Punishments include spanking, groundings, and extra chores and or early bedtime. Timeout/corner time does not count as a punishment, hyung usually uses it as a cool down period or a warning, so we will leave it out of the punishments.... let’s see, what else...Oh yeah! You’re allowed to cry, beg, and do whatever you want to avoided punishment, but you can not blame others. So for example, if I break something I’m not allowed to tell hyung that Taehyungie broke it or that he told me to break it, understood?”
The other members nodded their heads.
“How about slapping? What if we get smart or talk back and hyung slaps us, does that count as a punishment?” Asked Jimin.
Yoongi thought for a moment before turning to his dongsaengs. “What do you guys think? Should we considerate it a punishment?”
The younger members thought of it intensely.
“Well I think it should, because hyung usually always cuddles us after he slaps us and since he’s comforting us I think that means it was meant as a punishment.” Analyzed Jungkook.
“Good point!” Agreed Yoongi. “Slapping does count as a form of punishment.” He concluded.
The members nodded there heads and hummed in agreement.
“The competition will last until all but one has been punished. And during the competition you are required to misbehave, break minor rules, and be disrespectful. However, we will each have an hour break that we’re allowed to use in case we need it. During our break you don’t have to be disrespectful and are allowed to be on your best behavior, during this hour you are also allowed to kiss up to hyung and try to get on his good side again. You’re allowed to use your break at any time in the day. If you want you can split your hour in two thirty minutes breaks instead. Namjoon and Hoseok will both be the referees. They will keep a notebook to log everyone’s break and to keep track of who lost and who’s still in the game.”
Hoseok and Namjoon nodded in understanding. Hoseok felt a proud smile grow on his face for being given such an important responsibility, but Namjoon had a strained look.
*This is not going to end well,* he thought to himself.
“When you want to take your break you need to tell Seokie or Joonie and they will then time you and tell you when your break is over. If you go over your break or refuse to continue misbehaving, you will automatically be disqualified.”
The members all nodded again.
“Can I make a suggestion?” Spoke up Namjoon.
“Yeah, sure.”
“Can we have a list of major crimes that can be committed to earn bounce points?”
“This sounds interesting. Explain, please.” Said Yoongi.
“Okay, so we all know how strict hyung is about certain rules, like us leaving the dorms alone after midnight. So what if someone, for example, leaves the dorm after midnight and then comes back. Hyung will be absolutely furious, but if you somehow managed to get yourself out of being punished, this will give you a bonus life, I guess. The bonus life means you’re allowed to be punished one time and still be in the competition.”
“I like that idea!” Voice both Jimin and Taehyung.
“So do I.” Agreed Yoongi.
“Let’s come up with a list of the things hyung tolerates the least.” Announced Hobi as he ran out of the room. He came back a minute later with a notebook in his hand.
“Okay, first thing is ‘direct and intentional disobedience.’ What should we write next?”
“Oh! How about ‘cursing,’ hyung hates cursing?” Suggested Namjoon.
“That’s a good one!” Agreed Hoseok.
“If you curse directly at hyung and somehow survive, that gives you two bonus lives.” Informed Yoongi.
The others murmured in agreement, while Hoseok wrote it down.
“Lying! Hyung doesn’t like when we lie to him.” Said Jimin.
Hoseok quickly wrote it down.
Taehyung concentrated hard. “Throwing things.” He said a little unsure. “Does that count?”
“Yes it does!” Smiled Hoseok before writing it down.
“Oh! I know!” Shouted Jungkook. “Fighting or arguing with each other. Hyung will definitely not tolerate that. And if you team up with someone both of you get the bonus life.”
“Good idea!” Praised the hyungs, making Jungkook’s bunny smile pop out.
“Anything else we should add?”
The members thought for a second, but then gave up.
“I can’t think of anything else.” Pouted Jimin.
“Me neither.” Said Tae.
“Okay, I think we’ve got everything planned then. Does everyone understand the rules?”
The members all nodded their heads.
“Alright, the competition starts as soon as hyung walks through that door.” Proclaimed Yoongi while he pointed at the front door.
The members all let out a nervous breath, but they began giggling in excitement.
“I’m totally gonna win!” Announced Jimin.
“No, I’m gonna win!” Smirked Tae.
“In your dreams! Hyung can’t resist babying his maknae, first place is basically already mine.” Teased Jungkook.
They playfully teased each other for a few minutes more before they sat back down on the floor and continued to play more games.
