Summary
thundersnow (noun): A violent storm of thunder and lightning that is accompanied by snow instead of rain.
Scattered across the world, four strangers fall into slumber. In a plush bed fit for royalty adorned with heavy velvet bedclothes. In a threadbare cot tucked into the back of a rickety inn. In a bower draped in vines and blooms of many colors. In a small, sturdy, oak frame bed built by careful hands. They drift in the quiet gloom that lays over the dreaming world. Shadowed forms flicker and dance just out of sight, familiar and strange in equal measure. Whispers float through the air, urgent and frantic. They forget what was said just as it fades.
They wake to sunlight streaming through unfamiliar trees.

The Four Winds have lived in relative harmony for millennia, content to let one another pass by and exist alone as they always have. But when a strange force pulls them from their comfortable lives to the side of an outspoken mortal boy, they have to come to terms with the fact that the things that are comfortable aren't always good.
