Summary
It's a very long trip after Obi-Wan and Ventress escape from Darth Maul and Savage Opress. They pass the time with bickering, word games, and...other things.
As far as escapes went, it wasn’t terrible. Getting his ass properly handed to him in an hour-long ordeal of truly epic ass-beating proportions tended to make one appreciate the silver linings of eventual escape. The silver linings here were…few, but he'd take them. He wasn't dead, for starters. That was good. He wasn't still being beaten to a pulp by Savage and...Maul anymore. And he was even free now, making his way to the nearest hospitable planet in the singular cockpit to find the cheapest ship and getting back to Coruscant for a report and more planning on what to do about all this. Oh, and Ventress was here. Whether or not that was a pro or a con was yet to be determined.
