   Summary

   I’m bad at summaries but basically,

   Xiao can clear his entire karmic debt if he genuinely falls in love with y/n but y/n has to genuinely like Xiao back.

   3 problems:
   - y/n was told by a shaman from birth that they need to find the correct adepti in Tevyat that will protect them from a tragic life/death accident that’s been predestined to happen because of their karmic debt

   - but xiao’s not allowed to tell y/n he’s an adepti

   - but y/n cannot tell non family members (aka xiao) about what the shaman told them
