Mayuko Nise always thought the holidays were boring, she had been alone for most of her life, always thought that she live, die alone and she was okay with that thought but that had changed when she was taken to another dimension, a high rise dimension.
It was confusing and even scary(not that she would admit) kind of a place.
She soon met other people, people who wore masks on their faces, ones that tried to attack her, she had fought back killing one and soon one after another.
She started to attack anyone didn't matter if they had a mask on or not, some had begged her not to hurt them, some had cried others had even taken their own lives.
None of it ever mattered to her.
Until she met Yuri Honjo.
Yuri was so much different than her, she was optimistic, friendly, kind to others and she cared, cared about other people and their feelings.
Yuri is the type to wear her heart on her sleeve.
Meeting Yuri Honjo was certainly different in that high rise world.
Nise thought she was another person that she might've kill, she even planned on it all to reach a helicopter that didn't even promise escape.
Yuri had her gun pointed at Nise but she never pulled the trigger.
Instead she cried.
Nise never thought someone could cry while pointing a gun at someone but Yuri told Nise to go on ahead, to take the helicopter and escape that world.
Nise accepted her offer, promising to tell Yuri's family what had happened when Yuri had saved Nise's life from a sniper.
It wasn't the first time Yuri had saved Nise's life in that high rise realm and her own life. There were to many to count and Nise had saved Yuri's life as well.
Yuri had save Nise from a pain that she had know her whole life, Nise never thought someone could be so special.
Yuri was so special to Nise and she was happy, more so when Yuri had asked Mayuko to be her girlfriend, though Yuri might have men't a different type but soon a love had blossomed between the two, a special bond that could not be broken had formed.
Mayuko Nise smiled at the thought of trying something new to surprise her girlfriend as she lightly hummed a song to heself.

Mayuko tried her hardest to learn how to bake, a surprise for her girlfriend since tgis will be their third anniversary together.
It unfortunately was not going too well.
Mayuko sighed as the chocolate she been melting had burned(again) and the cake wasn't cooked all the way through.
Mayuko had sighed for what felt like all day when really it had been two hours.
"This isn't going well as I hoped...."
She said with a sigh and a headache coming on.
She pulled another brick of chocolate from the shopping bag she bought earlier in the day and started chopping it with her knife a little harder than what she needed.
The sound of chopping against the chopping board and water starting to boil could be heard.
"Jeez, what did that chocolate ever do to you?"
Mayuko jumped and turned around ready to attack.
Yuri Honjo held up her hands looking sheepish.
Mayuko Nise lowered the knife and rolled her eyes at Yuri.
"I thought you weren't supposed to back until later" Nise said as she turned back to the counter.
"Eh, I left early and I wanted to surprise my BEAUTIFUL GIRLFRIEND!" Yuri says while shouting the last part.
Mayuko Nise flushes and almost drops her knife.
"Anyways what are you doing?" Yuri asks while lookong at the disaster that is the kitchen.
"I was trying to make something for you, as a Valentine's present or... so I thought"
"Well, I see that this isn't going too good eh?" She laughs.
Mayuko pouts.
"Aww don't be mad~ I'm sure it's good~"
Yuri says as she reaches for some of the cooled off chocolate.
Yuri grabs a piece and takes a bite.
Mayuko watches her reaction closely.
Yuri's face contorted as she continued to chew.
Yuri keeps chewing as her face changes from a grimaced to smiling with sweat rolling down her cheek as she finally swallowed it.
Mayuko Nise pouts, feeling bad about heself.
Yuri grabs Mayu's shoulder and raises her other hand, cupping Mayu's face.
"It... was great! I would love to have more!"
"I saw your face, you looked like your sould left your body when eating that!"
Yuri kept smiling and leaned forward and kissed Mayuko, catching her off guard.
"See, pretty sweet wouldn't you say~"
Yuri says happy.
Mayuko blushes hard and looks down at her feet.
Yuri laughs at her girlfriend's reaction.
"Hey, how about we stick with buying sweets" Yuri said as she cupped Mayuko's face, staring into her eyes.
"Except for kisses okay~"
She doesn't know which she's more embarrassed about, the fact Yuri is saying her baking skills are terrible or Yuri's smooth talking, most loved filled look she is giving.
Mayuko Nise can only blush harder.
