Summary
Being almost invincible was the curse to lose those fighting beside him, people he cared for and nothing could change it. So he moved forward, enduring to fulfill his promise and purpose, though not ever with hope for a future of his own... until the awful day everything started to change in this never ending fight.
Had anyone told Captain Levi that this person would become what he never dared to desire, much less consider possible, he sure would have kicked someone's ass for being delusional. But life was full of the unexpected, and sometimes it wasn't the bad kind, yet no training, skills or weapons would help him this time; trusting his guts was one thing, his heart... well, let's just say that wasn't his cup of tea.
