Summary
Miyuki Kazuya always had an eye on his students. This sort of behavior was expected of a gym class teacher; it was seen as commendable that he was so focused on his job, dedicating the full time he spent at the school to coaching the kids properly. He watched out for any skirmishes that might turn into actual fights, ensured that they weren’t roughhousing too much, and kept every kid on their feet so that they got their daily exercise.
Though this year, his eyes seemed to remain on one particular student more often than the others. At first, the reason was obvious enough—the kid was rambunctious, loud, eager to show off and bright as the sun itself. He practically demanded the attention of everyone in the room, but once getting used to the feisty little Sawamura Eijun, Miyuki was expected to continue his usual monitoring of every student like he had before.
Except, to Eijun’s delight, Miyuki still seemed to pay special attention to him.
