“Binnie, I’m cold!”
Soobin feels arms wrapping around his sides and an instant warmth in contact with his back. His heart skipped beats from how sudden it was.
“Gyu you’re making me feel embarrassed!” the older boy says.
He is wearing a corset for the “Can’t You See Me?” Be Original performance that they just finished filming.
The group is taking a break before going a second round, which will be the last.
“I just think the corset shapes your figure well, I had to hug you..” Beomgyu says in muffles from sticking his face in Soobin’s back.
“T-thanks I guess..”
Soobin feels assured by the physical affection and sweet compliment Beomgyu had offered.
The two announced they were dating and the fans were the first to support them. Dating in the K-pop industry isn’t easy when in public, but the young couple wanted to change that.
Now they get to show more affection instead of having to hide like in the previous eras.
“I got kind of worried if I couldn’t pull off the look well, but I think I feel better now.”
Soobin turns around and Beomgyu doesn’t let go of his embrace.
“Yah Beomgyu, let go!”
“No!”
Soobin purses his lips to pretend in initiating a kiss and Beomgyu instantly falls for it.
While Beomgyu was leaning and tiptoeing, Soobin escapes his arms as they were getting loose.
“Wha-Hyung!” Beomgyu falls from not having support, and Soobin instantly catches the younger in his arms.
“My turn!” Soobin hugged Beomgyu the tightest he could.
Beomgyu laughs at how cute his boyfriend was. “Don’t trick me like that!”
Soobin pecks a chaste kids on the other boy’s lips.
The younger feels his face blush in response, “What? But you didn’t let me kiss you first?!?”
“Fine, fine!” Soobin loves teasing his boyfriend.
The older closes his eyes and Beomgyu does a soft, but romantic kiss. Totally opposite from the tone he just spoke earlier.
Soobin’s heart melts inside, he forgot why he avoided it in the first place.
Beomgyu had the most passion about their relationship since day 1 and Soobin is grateful.
Soobin had his worries about them being revealed or not accepted but Beomgyu always assured him that they’ll get through anything together.
Soobin had to worry about how the group’s image would be affected from revealing their relationship.
The other members always knew how close the two were since trainee days and supported them too, so it made the leader feel more relieved.
The fans became supportive and he’s grateful for that too.
Having Beomgyu by his side makes it all worthwhile.
“Hello? Soobin?” Beomgyu waves at his face.
“Oh sorry, I spaced out..”
“Was the kiss enchanting?” Beomgyu teases.
“Be quiet,” The purple-haired boy averts his eyes but his face remains flustered.
Beomgyu knows how much pressure Soobin feels and wants to be his support no matter what.
“I love you, y’know, you can always count on me.”
“I know, babe,” Soobin intertwines their hands. “Love you too.”
They share another kiss and a giggle can be heard, but not from the couple.
The couple was recorded the entire time with Hueningkai behind the camera.
“These hyungs are so cheesy, haha!” the maknae giggles.
Soobin hugging Beomgyu and the latter on his toes to reach him is such a sight. Hueningkai enjoys the view.
Beomgyu hands went from on Soobin’s chest to wrapping his arms around his neck for support.
“Don’t get too into it ya’ll, we have a few minutes until our second shoot!” a staff reminded.
Hueningkai stops his filming and gives it to another staff, telling them to edit the scenes well.
The couple break apart from the kiss and rest on each other’s foreheads after Soobin lifts Beomgyu from the ground.
“I’m so glad I have you..” The taller boy musters.
“Me too..” Beomgyu replies.
“I love me too,” Hueningkai barges in their moment.
The boyfriends were unimpressed.
But Soobin took it as a cue to get ready for their performance soon, putting Beomgyu back on his feet.
The younger misses the touch but he knows that they have a performance to take care of next.
“Man, you guys really are the cheesiest! Anyway let’s go to the set, wouldn’t want to stretch this night longer.” Hueningkai leaves to join the other members already in position for the dance.
“You ready hyung?”
“Yeah.”
They make their way into position for the performance. Their hearts filled and ready to express the emotion in their dance.
