Red String Of Fate

Summary:

ıS İT HURTİNG TF OUT OF KAMU O'CLOCK ALREADY????

Work Text:

Izuru Kamukura and Hajime Hinata.
Two children. Sharing the same talent. They weren't siblings, no. They were friends. Childhood friends.
However, Kamukura belived they were supposed to be more.
"We grew up close. Closer then *anything*"
Izuru tought. He meant it. They shared the same bed and wore each other's clothes. They laughed together, cried together, even got bored together.
They spoke about so many things.
"We should be Firemans, Izzy!"
Izuru looked at his left side. He could swear he heard Hajime's voice.
He wasn't scared, no. If Hajime was there, he'd jump to hug him.
Now, he was lost in memories.
Izuru took a thin, red string.
"Hajime, give me your finger."
The little boy with freckels and brown hair gave his finger, curiously.
Izuru gently tied the string on the boy's finger. Then he tied it on his own finger.
"Why did you do that?"
Hajime asked his friend.
"This is called "the red string of fate", I heard my mother talking about it."
"It sounds cool! What does it means?"
"It means we'll never get apart-"
"Great! We'll always stay as friends!"
The raven gave the other boy a nod. Not voicing his toughts.
Hajime was always the one to have more friends. Izuru didn't cared about them, but knew their names and talents anyways.
Izuru didn't liked them. He wanted Hajime for himself. All for himself.
Yes, he was selfish like that.
Another memory.
İn the middle of a night, while Hajime was staying at Izuru's parents place becouse of some.... İssues with his own parents.
Izuru didn't sleep. He watched Hajime sleeping.
Another memory. This time a closer one to present.
"...A parasite needs a host."
Hajime said as he looked at a picture hanging on the wall. Their childhood photo.
Izuru rised his voice for the first time in his life.
"I'm only trying to do what is best for us!"
"NO! I never asked for this- I NEVER wanted to watch my classmates in despair, all I ever wanted was some time for myself!"
Izuru looked in the other boy's eyes.
"Look in my eyes, Hajime-"
"Just leave me be! Please- Just STOP touching me! You're the reason why everything happened!"
Izuru realized how selfish he was.
"You're the reason why everyone I loved died one by one- Yet you don't care becouse you NEVER had emotions, didn't you?!"
Izuru felt like he had to say something to Hajime. More like 'admit' something.
"But you *never* cared about my feel--"
"Why won't you leave me be?!"
"Becouse you'd never dare to leave me alone!"
"I just want everyone I loved-"
"I just want you here at my side-"
"Can't you just leave me alone?!"
And all of the memories were gone.
Izuru hugged his knees, sitting on the floor.
He wasn't going to comfort himself, no.
After all, he didn't deserved Hajime.
He was too selfish.
By the looks of things, the red string was gone now.
