Summary
On an intoxicated whim, Mo Ran and Xue Meng sign their friend group up for participation in Siren, a reality TV show where police officers, firefighters, bodyguards, soldiers, athletes, and stuntpeople team up by profession to compete for survival on a remote island. Hence this problem: Mo Ran has always wanted to fight for love, but now he has to fight his love, who's on an opposing team.
“Foul play, I’ve been punched in the gut,” whispers Mo Ran breathlessly as his eyes track Chu Wanning walking past with a box of items purchased with burnt calories at the tiny store. Ye Wangxi gives Mo Ran a quizzical look. “By his beauty,” explains Mo Ran.
Ye Wangxi chooses to conserve her energy and ignore him.
