The hand on his shoulder moves to grab the back of his neck, giving him a little shake, “Meg, just relax kid. No matter what, we’ll figure it out, okay? Open the damn thing.”
Megumi clicks the email open before he can overthink it any longer. He scans it quickly, holding his breath until his lungs feel like rocks sitting in his chest.
