Timothy does not swing like that

Summary:

Unlike in Batman Urban Legends#6 where Timothy Drake now suffers under the pandering of SJW crap since DC decided to make him bisexual well Timothy has a different response for Bernard as he gently lets his friend down, and reflects on how guys can no longer just be brotherly bonds.

Second chapter being special AN addressing the comments for nothing but vile, baseless hatred on my story.

Chapter Text

Hello guys.

Well time to say goodbye to Timothy Drake as DC has decided to add him to the tragic list of LGBT characters done for pandering to a community who really doesn't give two bits about superheroes or anything else. They just want to shove LGBTQ into everything and move on.

As Marvel, DC, and entertainment business, in general, have fallen into pandering to LGBTQ, feminist Mary Sues, and it never makes whatever it is better.

Like Supergirl TV show for season 2 having a three-episode arc on Alex Danvers coming out as lesbian did not improve anything or Curtis Holt over on Arrow as gay was all, there was to him. It's like every five minutes he wouldn't shut up about his sexuality preferences.

I had to laugh when some article said "Oh I have faith DC won't make Tim being bi all there is about him" um prefer to have those hopes sent to a fire pit. In modern entertainment, once a character goes full SJW their gender or sexuality is the only part which exists about them.

Let me make this clear I have zero dislikes against the LGBT community, I have friends myself who are gay.

What I do not appreciate however is the pandering to this community or the toxic LGBTQ vile harassment if you don't worship their preferences yet claim how peaceful they are.

Making a character gay or bi just to pander to certain types of people who don't give two bits on the actual stories anyway is dumb.

So, I'm fixing this character mess to one of my favorite Robins.

A house in Gotham City

Timothy Drake wearing a short sleeve red button-down shirt over a black T-shirt and blue jeans is standing at the doorway of his friend's house who opens it.

"Hey, I just wanted to check in and see if you're doing okay after the whole cult mess?" Timothy asks.

"Yeah, I'll be getting there. Is that uh the only reason you stopped by?" Bernard asks.

"It is, I just wanted to be sure you're okay" Timothy replies "Why?"

"Do you want to go out on a date with me?" Bernard asks.

"Listen your my friend, okay? I'm not gay or bi, I just don't go that way" Timothy says.

Bernard merely steps back closing the door as Timothy sighing walks down the steps with heading back to his car. Once more finds himself in these situations and just gets old, has gotten old. From his brotherly bonds with Kon and Jason, Bart, or others well Tim knows there never has been anything romantic involved.

Tim notes sadly, especially with social media and entertainment, guys can't be friends without people thinking they are on a gay trail to Brokeback Mountain.

Pushing those musings aside Timothy enters his car driving off.

Hope somebody enjoyed this and if all you're going to do is scream my head off for spewing hate just go away.

I had Tim reflect over his friendships with Kon, Jason, Bart, and others for well it is appalling anymore how guys can't have friendships with other guys without it being looked on as some hidden gay thing.

Like I have friendships with my friends who are guys and none of us have any gay romance.

Sadly, in high school, I had this one creep who kept following me around calling me his boyfriend which the staff refused to do anything since wouldn't want to hurt this person's feelings. Never mind the harassment I was getting.

Regarding Tim/Kon well I have run across those shippers who refuse to tag the stories properly and end up reading a Tim/Kon romance unintentionally. Even had one author say it the readers problem if they took issue. Another time I was reading a Tim Drake/Rose Wilson fic only to get Tim/Kon out of nowhere.

For those who do tag their fics appropriately, thank you.

Back to this overall mess, I miss the days when all people were concerned about was good stories.

Until next time.

Chapter Text

Well to every single triggered snowflake who has attacked my story thank you since here is the first time, I'm writing up a special AN for Archive of Our Own of all things. Not Fan Fiction site like I normally would.

Because you people who have gotten 24 comments as of 8/12/2021 10:51 AM on A03 story has required far more than just replying to every single triggered, hypocritical person individually outside of a few.

I say hypocritical since you people would be demanding DC or whoever to be burned at the post after getting tarred and feathered if they made a gay character straight.

Like say Kate Kane made straight I don't think you people would be all that happy about it.

Yet somebody dares to call out DC for taking a straight character whose been that way since his creation into gay needs to be harassed with vile. Like I said, hypocrites.

The way you people coming after me is I'm the spawn of all evil in your eyes, and makes me happy. Because I'm probably doing something right to get you types so easily triggered.

Let me give you help for further hate comments I'm a happily straight white male who believes in the American dream, and democracy.

I really have to laugh when getting called homophobic since Jack Harkness from Doctor Who is an omnisexual on sleeping with any male, female, alien of any type is one of my favorites.

Also, Diana Prince being made bi-sexual does not bother me since given Wonder Woman's past on Themyscira an island filled with only women that actually make sense.

What does not is Timothy Drake a straight guy all the way until now being made gay given its just bi for explaining his past female romances, and hand waving those away.

Heck DC would have a stronger case for making Timothy Drake, I believe the term is Ace, for zero interest in sex rather than gay.

Now I'm going to stop talking since I'm going to use actual comments of other people who are bi or gay who loathe DC making Timothy Drake into LGBTQ catering garbage.

I'm keeping them unknown strictly for their protection since I don't want you pieces of crap who have hounded me on this site and FFNet on going after attacking them.

Common Sense#1

"Tim Drake ... Here's his story: A young computer and detective enthusiast who managed to save Batman from depression when he was in his worst self-destructive facets to date. The same one who made all girls who crossed his path in his adventures to fall for him, and to date he is the only Robin who defeated the joker without any help.

Noticed how all those characteristics that were later ported to Dick Grayson without any logical reason. This is honestly the Robin that Dc has been abusing for decades. He was practically fired to be replaced by Damian (haha long live nepotism, am i right?) even when he was the only one who did not give up looking for Bruce when everyone thought he was dead.

They took away the position of successor which even Kingdom Come, and teen titans confirmed. Even in games he is treated as a joke by taking away abilities to give to others like in Arkham Knight. This was the guy whose girlfriend was killed for believing in Batman's judgment and yet his loyalty not even once wavered. The same one who was trapped under concrete for hours with criminals and just to follow Batman's philosophy did not liquidate them to conserve the oxygen that he needed so much. What was his payoff in the end? Given to the liberals like a pile of flesh."

Common Sense#2

"As a Tim Drake fan, and as a gay man, I would like to state that this a stupid, cheap and lazy move by DC. Drake is a hero in the classic mold - selfless, honorable, loyal and trustworthy; qualities that I can respect and aspire to. He is clearly heterosexual, and I am perfectly happy with that, as his sexuality has nothing to do with him being a Hero - now, some will argue that making him gay doesn't then change that point; but it does, because that is not his history.

I wish these so-called "creatives" would create something worthwhile, instead of always seeking to bring existing, well-crafted characters down to their own poor level."

Common Sense#3

"Normally you have to go to prison to see this many straight men forced into homosexual situations. If you're a good looking straight male character in comics these days, it's only a matter of time before one of the progressive writers corners you in the metaphorical sexuality conversion shower. Only the good looking and popular ones though. Amazingly enough no one seems all that interested in Mole Mans sex life."

Common Sense#4

"As a bisexual woman, I wholeheartedly agree. If she wanted Tim to be bi, why not just have him come out to Stephanie but still be in a relationship with her. Why have a bisexual boy accept or come to terms with his bisexuality by having him break up with his current girlfriend for some random dude he JUST met? What kind of bull?!"

Common Sense#5

"Ok, I got to say it. Isn't this 'bi-eraser?' Correct me if I'm wrong, but listening to this is just giving me flashbacks to when bi people in 'straight' relationships were asked to not participate in Pride Parades."

Common Sense#6

"As a bi dude, I hate this. This was written for straight women.

The problem that I have with these people writing "bisexual" characters is that they seem to feel like the only way they can show that the character is bi is to have them constantly going after people of the same sex. They seem to forget that bisexual people like people of the opposite sex too. It's like their rationale "but but, if we show a bisexual guy dating a girl, everyone would just think he's straight, and we can't have that! So, he can only date guys, to show he's bi"

Common Sense#7

"The most deeply offensive thing about how "bi" characters are written is the "bi" part is always a lie. They make a character into the same sex and use "Oh, they're bi" to handwave away all the intimate hetero relationships they'd had in the past.

Because apparently bisexuals aren't allowed to still be in hetero relationships after coming out. I'm sorry, but writing bisexuals as only into the same sex after they've come out is more offensive than not including them in the first place."

Common Sense#8

"This is also very blatant bi-erasure.

Please humor me, but stating that Tim is Bi even though he's very clearly written as gay, it perpetuates the notion that Bi people aren't actually Bi. They're either questioning/experimenting, actually straight but want to get attention, or actually gay and want to get attention."

Common Sense#9

"As a bisexual male, I'm never going to buy this comic."

Common Sense#10

"Comic books are being used to indoctrinate children into their lifestyle. This garbage is not about representation. It's about indoctrination."

Yeah, none of them are wrong and it really is bi-erasure since they are writing Timothy Drake as gay. Not bi but instead just using bi to give reason for his past romances with women.

I've seen this a lot in various entertainment media happen before.

Also, not wrong about this garbage indoctrination since it's that as well.

So, for the as of right 7 reviewers on FFNet and 24 on A03 who have come after me with your vile hatred you all need therapy.

Not to mention if you have to attack me this much well all it proves is you don't have much ground to stand on if you're this outraged over somebody like me calling this out.

All the comments by the rabid LGBTQ base from this point on will either be frozen or deleted on A03. On FFNet will just get ignored since I can't delete you, people, over there.

I will probably turn the moderation on at some point too for A03.

As one last statement is Timothy being gay is all these people focus on since nothing else matters besides race, gender or who they are dating makes Hollywood to comic books along with you people attacking me or others over what we say are the actual racist bigots.
