The Undersecretary to the Minister… well, she wanted to know the truth about the boy. Anything I could find about him. He’s mental, they say. Completely unhinged. She wants more evidence of this.”
He expected Mrs. Dursley to deny those accusation and defend her nephew. She surprised him again by suddenly looking a lot more interested in what he had to say. “Mental, you say?” She said curiously. Her head turned over her shoulder, as if to check that the hallway behind her really was empty. “I suppose exchanging a few words over tea couldn’t hurt anyone.”
