Summary
Aizawa has kept himself in the same routine for years; he has his friends, his prohero work, his students to train. He isn't happy, but he's doing his best. At least he thought so, until Ivy Taylor showed up at UA. Ivy is a teacher who works with "at-risk" students, something that is uncommon in Japan, but Nezu has recognized as necessary. She works with class 2-A often due to the trauma they have experienced, and Aizawa realizes from her work, maybe he isn't doing his best, &maybe he can teach his students, and himself, how to be happy-and better.
"She leaned into his hand, sighing, and he made a quick choice he was sure he would regret later. He repositioned her and then laid back on the bed, his back hitting the mattress while his knees remained bent and his feet on the floor. He felt Ivy’s head move towards his side and lay on his chest as his arm snaked around her waist and her arm flung over him. He was just being a good friend, right? he thought. He knew it wasn’t true since he knew his heart was fluttering and he felt the heat flood his face while his stomach buzzed. Ivy nuzzled into his neck, and he knew he was in trouble."
