Work Text:
Min Yoongi considers himself a simple guy. Work hard, sleep long hours, and eat well: basically that’s all he needs to feel good. Usually those three activities are done in a routine succession, but lately he has been running into long bouts of one or the other. Or the first one, to be precise.
No surprise, of course; their managers and producers have pointed out that BTS's line-up is ready. Now there are seven of them and, finally, they’re a few weeks away from their debut. It’s not the first time that the company has filled them with hopes about it, but Yoongi is convinced that this time it’ll be a reality. It has to be. He has quit his part-time jobs so that he can invest every second into his preparation as an artist; his precarious economy can't afford for BTS to be unsuccessful.
So they have had to work. Very much. Training has lasted up to 12 hours a day. By now, Yoongi is sure that his legs dance even while he sleeps. Like the other members, he barely has time left between his dance, rap, and songwriting classes. But that’s not a problem, of course. Everyone knows that Min Yoongi is a hardworking guy.
And that's why he can't help but feel irritated whenever the other members point out that he needs to rest.
“Yoongi-ah, you didn't spend the whole night here, did you?”
The voice of his only hyung in the group almost make him jump. Seokjin has gotten into a nasty habit of bursting into the recording studio when he earnestly asks not to be disturbed. However, he never fails to be surprised by his elder’s words. It can't be a new day, can it? He checks the time on the computer in front of him: 06:30 am. Indeed, he has spent the night in the studio reviewing recordings without realizing it.
“Hmm, I guess,” he growls, scratching his head a bit, “has everyone arrived yet? Will we start with the training?”
He sees Jin frown in apparent disapproval. He's gotten used to seeing that expression more often. After nearly two years of living together, the singer has taken his role as hyung more and more seriously. Yoongi has grown very fond of him, especially for his kind and protective treatment, but sometimes he’s simply too protective for his liking. He's not even that much older than him, and bosses him more than his own older brother.
“Last night you told me you were going to stay until eleven o’clock at night” Jin scolds with his arms crossed. No, he's not like his older brother. He looks exactly like his mother.
“I know, time passes quickly here,” he replies, playing it down. It's too early (or well, too late) to start a discussion. “I'll have a coffee and go to the rehearsal room; I won't be long.”
He goes to the study door, right where Jin is standing posing as his mother. He doesn't seem interested in letting him out.
“Did you at least eat last night?”
Here we go again…
“Yes, mom, can you let me pass?” he snorts humorlessly. Frankly, his head feels too dull to take this.
“What did you eat?” Seokjin insists.
“Come on, hyung!” Yoongi protests when he sees that the elder doesn't stand aside. “Fine. I went for a sandwich, now will you let me pass?”
Of course, that’s a lie. Yoongi hasn't even stopped to go to the bathroom since he said goodbye to the other members last night. Jin seems to pick up on that easily.
“Don't lie, Yoongi-ah,” Jin scolds. “So, do you intend to dance for six hours after a sleepless night and without having eaten since yesterday? When was the last time you ate and slept, by the way?”
In spite of himself, Yoongi can't help but groan in frustration.
“Does it matter?” he growls trying not to sound so rude.
“Of course it matters!” Jin argues, “you won't be able to train properly, you've been like this for weeks! You hardly go to the dorm, you barely eat and sleep, you're going to get sick!”
“Jimin-ah literally brought a mattress to sleep in the rehearsal room,” Yoongi points out, “why are you shitting with me?”
He sees Jin cringe a little at his language. The older boy is absurdly polite, which doesn’t fail to amuse Yoongi.
“Because you should know better,” says Jin, “you're older than him, I expected you to be more responsible with your health. And you yourself scolded him for overexerting himself!
Yoongi mentally kicks himself. Just two days ago he scolded - no, he didn’t scold - he pointed out to the newest member that maybe he should get some more rest. But he definitely didn't make a drama about it, he only hinted that three hours of sleep a day was unhealthy for a school-age boy. Yoongi’s an adult, it’s something totally different.
“I'm not one of the maknaes, Jin-hyung,” he says, pushing him to the side a little, “and you're not even that much older than me to order or scold me. I know what I do, okay?”
He doesn't bother to wait for an answer. He walks carelessly towards the building's cafeteria, but first he stops at one of the bathrooms to wash his face. All he needs is some cold water and a good dose of caffeine to feel as good as new. No one will know that he has gone two days without sleep. Or maybe it's three? Who cares…?
Seokjin can't help but feel a bit angry. Sometimes Yoongi is terribly difficult to deal with. During the time they have lived together, he has learned to decipher the younger boy's personality; he knows that, underneath his somewhat rough appearance, there is the kind, shy, quiet boy that the members now know well. But there’s also the determined, stubborn Yoongi, with no filters in his mouth. Everyone knows there are two easy ways to irritate him: wake him up from his naps or interrupt his work. But right now, he wishes the reasons for his anger were for something as simple as interrupting his sleep.
Namjoon has already pointed this out: Yoongi needs to rest. A few days ago the leader expressed his concern to Jin. In fact, everyone is aware that the older rapper looks paler than usual, the dark circles stand out sickly on his tired face, he seldom meets them at the table and his bad mood has exceeded any limit that previously knew. However, until now no one had dared to speak. Namjoon tried, but, in his words, “Yoongi-ah took out hyung's card and told me not to fuck with him.” Because of that, Seokjin thought that maybe two could play that game. After all, Jin is older than him, and for a person with good manners that must mean something, right?
Or maybe Yoongi's manners aren't that great.
And Jin isn't exactly the most patient person in the group. In fact, the older hyung knows that he can get irritated easily, especially when it comes to the well-being of his dongsaengs. Although at first it was difficult for him -especially coming from a family where he was the youngest- for Seokjin it has become absolutely natural to watch over everyone in the group; he has taken on with great enthusiasm and affection the task of waking them up, cooking them, taking care of their colds, taking the maknaes to school and listening to them in their difficult moments.
Oh, and scold them. Yes, he knows that he can be a bit nagging at times. In general, his lectures are directed against the three minors in the group; after all, the boys are still so young, they couldn't even live their last years of school in the middle of a normal home. Seokjin, with the help of the rappers, has taken on the task of providing them with the greatest possible normality, making the group a fairly functional family.
But that doesn't mean that the older ones run away from Jin-Eomma, as Jungkook's brat often calls him. Namjoon is usually the most balanced and mature member of the group (even more so than Seokjin himself, he admits), so he can't remember arguing much with him; Hoseok is absolutely charming, but sometimes his trust issues put him in a dark and pessimistic mood, causing Jin-Eomma to spring into action. And Yoongi ...
… The older rapper has become a headache lately. He’s undoubtedly the one who has had the hardest time assimilating the more hyung side of Jin. After all, he was the oldest for several months, before Jin's arrival, and he was surely used to being the dominant member along with Namjoon. But none of that stops Seokjin from expressing his interest in taking care of him in the same way that he takes care of the other members.
Therefore, although irritated by his disrespect, Jin doesn’t take his eyes off him during the entire first part of his dance training. He can tell that the boy stubbornly does his best so that no one hints that his lack of rest is spoiling the dance, but his exhaustion doesn’t go unnoticed by the members and coaches. And this becomes apparent when an hour after starting, Yoongi can barely keep up and begins to gasp.
“Do you need a minute, Yoongi-hyung?” Hoseok asks as he pauses the music.
Jin knows that Yoongi won't give in easily. He confirms it when he sees the minor shake his head.
“I'm fine, let's move on.”
But after just a few minutes, Hoseok must stop the music again.
“Are you sure you can go on?” now it's Namjoon who asks worried, “you could take a break to eat a snack.!
“I said I'm fine,” Yoongi gasps.
“Your face says something else,” Taehyung points out, but quickly turns his gaze when Yoongi fixes his icy eyes at him, “I'm just saying ...”
“And I say shut your mouth,” Yoongi growls, “would you mind getting to work? Let's keep going!”
“You don't have to be rude,” Jin can't help but interfere now, it's not fair for Yoongi to take out his bad temper on everyone, “we’re all worried about you. I told you that you shouldn't train after not having slept and eaten for who knows how long.”
He sees Yoongi massage his forehead.
“You don't tell me what to do,” is the rapper's reply.
Jin breathes out slowly. The rest of the room also seems to feel the tension in the air. Jungkook and Jimin stare at the floor visibly uncomfortable. Hoseok doesn't seem to know what to do standing next to the stereo. Namjoon frowns at Jin sending him a clear message of “you tell him or I tell him.” There are some members of the staff who watch the scene with little interest. Not that they are strangers to fights inside the room.
“You're in no condition to work,” Jin continues. He almost prays that the rapper finally gives in.
“According to who?” Yoongi keeps pressing.
“According to everyone,” Namjoon interjects. “Please hyung, listen to Jin-hyung. You're going to get hurt, just go get some rest.”
Jin sees Yoongi press his jaw hard. The minor doesn't say anything, but he doesn't move to the exit either, he just gestures for Hoseok to restart the music. The dancer just looks indecisively at his hyungs.
“Come on, Hoseok-ah, we don’t have time for this shit!” Yoongi demands.
“That's enough, Yoongi-ah.” Jin steps over to his stubborn dongsaeng and puts a hand on his shoulder. Then he speaks in a very low voice, directed solely at him. “Do you really want to turn this into a fight? Behave yourself, you’re not a child.”
His words seem to hit Yoongi hard, but not in the right way. He looks incredibly offended, and he can't let go of the blush that settles on the youngest's cheeks. However, it's enough for Yoongi to turn around and stomp out of the studio.
Immediately everyone in the room lets out an audible sigh.
“What's wrong with Yoongi-hyung? Is he ok?” Jimin asks worriedly. In just four months with them, the boy has proven to be incredibly sweet to all of them. Jungkook also looks at him uneasily.
“He's just tired, guys,” Jin reassures them, “you know how he gets when he doesn't sleep well.”
“You spoke with him?” Namjoon asks. Jin knows well what he means
“Every day,” he says, “it's like talking to a wall.”
He sees the leader sigh in disappointment and the other rapper advance toward the stereo again.
“I suppose we should continue,” says Hoseok, “we have to take advantage of the morning, the boys have school in the afternoon.”
Everyone nods and goes to work.
In the afternoon, Jin goes back to the bedrooms alone. Namjoon and Hoseok have been reviewing some rap lines, while the three maknaes go to their classes at school. It's one of those rare days when Jin has a few hours off, so he decides to go straight to the bedroom to talk to Yoongi. He hopes that after a few hours of sleep the boy will be in a better mood.
However, he finds the apartment empty. He doesn't have to wonder where Yoongi could be; he knows well that he most likely didn’t leave the building when he was asked to leave the rehearsal room. At least he wants to make sure the boy is okay, so he makes a call on his phone. He rings several times before the call is rejected, and seconds later a text message arrives:
Yoongi:
I'm busy. Don’t call if it’s not important.
Jin massages his head angrily. He decides to read some college texts to calm his irritation. His discussion with Yoongi will have to wait a while.
It takes several hours in one of the building's studios for Yoongi to finally calm down a bit. He still has a hard time believing that he was scolded and thrown out of the rehearsal room like a small child, but internally berates himself for his lack of professionalism. He should disguise his fatigue better! He can't afford to look unfit for this job, much less within weeks of debuting.
He knows that in recent weeks his anxiety attacks have been more pronounced. How could he even think of sleeping, when his mind is plagued with distressing thoughts all the time? The only way out he can find is to work, work and work. Also, all the members have been through the same thing; nobody said being a trainee would be easy. So why the hell do they have to rage against him?
He lets out a sigh and takes a sip of coffee. Perhaps overloading on caffeine was not the best option at this time, because his heartbeat is now very fast, and he can’t keep calm there locked in the study. He knows that he needs to sleep, but for this he’d have to take the pills that his psychiatrist prescribed. He has refused to do it for weeks; the medications make him very drowsy and force him to sleep at least six hours, and that’s not something he can afford right now.
After a couple of hours of fruitless work, he decides that perhaps it would be best to leave the building. He knows that he won’t be received in the rehearsal room, and he definitely doesn’t feel like going out for a walk, so the dormitory is the best option, since he knows that today it’ll be alone for several hours. He’s going to lie down on the bed to sulk under the covers even though he can't sleep.
It is with that thought that he enters the small apartment, but is surprised to find that he’s not as alone as he thought. His only hyung lifts his face from the book in his hands, sitting on the only sofa they have. Yoongi doesn't bother to greet him while he takes off his shoes; he still feels angry with him.
“I thought you'd be here earlier,” Seokjin says by way of greeting. Here we go again, Yoongi thinks.
“I had things to do,” he answers without looking at him. “We all have to work, you know?”
His hyung lets out a sigh and puts the book on the table in front of him.
“Yoongi-ah, you really need to rest.”
That's all Yoongi can handle.
“Listen, hyung,” he speaks decisively as he stands in front of him looking into his eyes. Seokjin is several inches taller than him, but Yoongi has never been intimidated by his height. “I appreciate that you worry about me, but this little act of yours of pretending you’re my mother or like you’re much older than me, has gotten ridiculous. Unbearable, actually. I don't need you to tell me how to take care of my business, you understand?”
He turns in the direction of the room he shares with the other six, but Seokjin grabs his by the arm and turns his towards him again.
“Do you think that ‘my little number’ is because I'm older than you?” Jin repeats with apparent disbelief, “can't you see that all the members are worried about you? This has nothing to do with your age, Yoongi-ah! Yes, I am your hyung and I’d appreciate if you remember it, but the important thing here is that you have been having a hard time for weeks and you don’t want to do anything about it. You're not even taking your meds, are you? Is that why you can't sleep?”
Yoongi blushes at those last words. It was definitely a bad idea to tell Jin about his anxiety problems.
“That’s none of your business,” he growls, trying unsuccessfully to break out of Jin's grasp. “Seriously, why are you guys turning this nonsense into such a big deal? Open your eyes, Seokjin! Did you expect this to be easy? You have no fucking idea what hard life is! You came here because someone saw your pretty face and decided to join the company, and you said, ‘yeah, sure, why not?’ You had nothing to lose!”
He manages to get away from the older one, but decides that he’s not finished yet. Something inside him has grown and must get it out of his body; he can't help putting all the poison he can muster into his following words:
“And then you come here thinking you're at summer camp, going to your private college and getting money from your parents. Well guess what, hyung: some of us do have real lives and we need to break our asses to have a roof over our heads, and if for that I have to stop sleeping and eating, then I will. Deal with it, if not, fuck off.”
He breathes heavily after this explosion. Silence settles in the room. He looks at Jin's face and finds nothing but daze. His choice of words suddenly doesn't seem quite so right. He certainly didn't mean to imply that Seokjin hasn't worked hard to get to where he is, but he's unable to formulate an attempt at an apology. In fact, he has just noticed that his throat has become very dry, his eyes feel irritated, and his heart is beating wildly in his chest. He recognizes this feeling very well; he knows that if he tries to say anything else he will end up crying like a child.
When he sees that Jin is also not trying to speak, he turns to the apartment door. He knows it would be useless to try to find some privacy in the room. But again the older man's grip stops him and turns him towards. He has no idea what Seokjin's expression means; he looks too calm to have just been on the receiving end of his insults, but Yoongi can't help but tense up, since he wouldn't be surprised if at any moment Jin decides to take their fight to something more physical.
But what he doesn't expect at all is for Jin to just drag him towards as he sits on the couch.
“Let go of me,” Yoongi demands as he is forced to stand in front of him, “what the hell are you doing? Let me go.”
“You need this, Yoongi-ah,” is all Jin responds as he tugs at his arm.
The rapper knows that he’s no match for the older one, and suddenly he begins to feel very angry for being so small and thin. He continues to uselessly resist Jin's grasp, what the hell is he up to? Hug him?
No, Seokjin definitely doesn't want to hug him. That's what he discovers when, in a jerk, he ends up with his stomach on the singer's left leg. This position is very familiar to him ...
“What the hell do you think you're doing!” He yells as he tries to push his upper trunk up, but feels a heavy hand holding him down, “Let me go, Seokjin! This isn’t funny!”
“No, it's definitely not funny,” Jin replies in an incredibly calm voice.
“Let go of me, damn it!” Yoongi continues, writhing on Jin's lap. How the hell did they end up in this position? Frankly, the youngest expected Seokjin to push him or, at the most, throw a slap at him. But he definitely couldn't throw it on his knees like a damn child!
“You're out of control, Yoongi-ah,” Jin speaks in an impassive tone.
“Look, I'm sorry I insulted you, okay?” Yoongi tries as he kicks his legs, but the singer easily restrains them by holding with his right leg, “Come on, Seokjin-hyung!”
“Now you do use your honorifics,” Jin laughs humorlessly. “Right now I don't even care what you said about me; I know you were angry. I care that you think your job is more important than your health. But let's fix that.”
And it's all Yoongi hears before he feels a heavy hit on the back of his. He gasps in surprise rather than pain.
“What the hell, Seokjin!” He yells, skipping the honorific again, “you can't do this! Let me go!
His protests fall on deaf ears. The older one just continues to deal slaps on his butt with a force that Yoongi didn't know he was capable of mustering. Apparently, those broad shoulders of the singer are used for much more than to give him a good appearance...
But that's not what matters now! He’s lying on his hyung's knees getting spanked like a little boy. He had never felt so humiliated in his life. He tries with all his might to get out of position, but Seokjin has effectively trapped him. When he sees that fighting is useless, he decides to stay completely still and silent while the older man ends this nonsense. Yoongi has decided that he will kill him after this. Slowly. He just needs to wait for him to stop.
It seems that his silence is enough to make Seokjin speak.
“This has gotten out of control, Yoongi-ah…”
“Of course it got out of control! AHG!” He can't help but yell with a particularly hard smack and he picks up his fight. It has been many years since the last time he was in this position, he didn’t remember that it could be so uncomfortable, “you are out of control! Who the hell do you t-AHG! Stop it!”
“I'm your hyung, your partner and your friend,” Jin replied, still calm. How can he stay so calm while he smacks his ass so hard? “We are all worried about you, Yoongi-ah. You're desperate to do your best for our debut, but you won't even get to debut if you get sick.”
Yoongi decides to keep quiet again. He bites his lower lip hard to keep any sound from coming out of his mouth.
“And you can't be that selfish,” Jin continues, “you're not the only one who's been through tough times. We are all working hard here, and you know it. The maknaes left their families and haven’t even finished high school. Hobi-ah, well, you know he tries to hide how insecure he is, the same as Jimin-ah; Aigoo! The poor boy thinks every day he's going to be fired. And let's not talk about Joonie-ah, who is carrying the leadership of six guys who frankly sometimes don't know how to behave!”
Yoongi can tell that these last words are meant especially for him, because Seokjin punctuates them with loud slaps that make him growl.
“And even if you think I had it easy,” Jin says now in a tight voice, “you should know that it’s not easy for me to pretend that I am fine all the time. I told you a while ago, do you remember?”
Although he doesn't answer, Yoongi of course remembers it. It was one of those days where the two older members had decided to take time to relax away from the others, having a couple of bottles of soju and beer while discussing their problems. Jin had confessed to him how insecure he felt about his abilities and his place in the group. Yoongi had talked about his mental health problems. After that night, there was an unspoken agreement not to bring up the subject openly.
“I try my best to show you guys my best face and to make you happy,” Seokjin continues, “and you know well that I also work hard to improve my skills, especially with my two left feet. I didn't even know anything about music before I got here, I've tried to earn this place.”
Yoongi knows this very well, and he really wants to tell him how much he regrets choosing those words, but now he himself cannot open his mouth, because he knows that it won’t turn out well for what little dignity he has left. A new tense silence settles in, broken only by the sound of Jin's hand hitting his clothed butt and by the occasional growls that Yoongi lets out. How long will this last?
After a while Seokjin stops slapping him and Yoongi thinks that maybe he can forgive him for this ridiculous idea if he lets him go right now. However, the older one doesn't seem interested in doing that. Instead, Yoongi only hears some confusing sounds behind him, before feeling a much stronger impact on his butt, and that definitely doesn’t correspond to the smack of a hand.
“What the hell!” He gasps when a new slap lands on his thighs. He turns around a bit to find that Jin just hit him with a sandal, “that's enough, Jin!”
“We're not done yet,” he says without flinching. “You definitely haven't understood yet.”
“I’m sorry, okay?! AHG! ENOUGH!” He squirms again trying to get away, when he feels a hand go to the hem of his pants, “NO, DON'T DO IT, JIN! STOP IT RIGHT NOW!”
And this is how he finds his ass covered only by his thin underwear, thrown on his hyung's knees, as if the humiliation had not been enough.
“You have no right to do this! Let me! AHG, JIN! COME ON!”
The older one just continues to deal smacks without stopping. The burning sensation is almost unbearable, and Yoongi notes with horror that his eyes have begun to fill with tears. He can't help it, he feels so helpless in this situation, spanked like a rebellious child.
“Hyung!” He tries again to speak respectfully, to see if that will stop him. “Jin-hyung, stop hitting me! Sorry! I told you I'm sorry!”
“What are you sorry about?” Seokjin asks impassively.
“For insulting you! AHG! Stop! What do you want me to say!?”
“That is not why you’re in this position, but I accept your apology.”
“Then let me go!”
“No, try again.”
“This is completely ridiculous!” Now he's furious, “I'm not a child!”
“Then act like the adult you are and own up to your mistakes! Or we’ll stay here for a long time.”
Yoongi groans into the crook of his arm. Tears of frustration and pain have begun to seep from his eyes. Emotions are peaking and he feels the sobs trapped in his chest. But he refuses to open his mouth. He cannot crack at this ridiculous punishment.
“You know what? Fuck you, Jin!” He yells when the older one refuses to stop.
In response, his hyung puts a hand on the hem of his underwear and yanks it down.
-NO, NO, NO! DON'T YOU DARE, JIN! THIS HAS GONE TOO FAR!”
Seokjin ignores him completely. Yoongi feels incredibly vulnerable and humiliated. He had never given too much importance to the other members looking at him naked. After all, they had spent too much time together and had used the building's public showers hundreds of times. But being bare-bottomed while he's getting smacked with a sandal is totally different.
Pain feels different too. Almost as bad as those horrible whippings he received with a stick at his parents' house. Or well, it's not as horrible as that, but the humiliation and frustration are comparable. He has no choice but to cry on the couch while he feels the fire growing in his buttocks and legs.
“Jin-hyung… I'm sorry… I'm really sorry,” he moans when he can't take it anymore, “just stop, please, it hurts too much!”
“What are you sorry about?” Jin asks again, stopping the slaps for a moment.
Yoongi sniffs and tries to calm down before speaking.
“I'm sorry I didn't listen to you and the others,” he gasps. Right now, he really sorry he didn't, because otherwise he wouldn't be in this position, “and I'm sorry I said those words. I know you say you don't care, but I really didn't mean it. You deserve your place as much as any of us, hyung.”
He hopes this is what Jin wants to hear. And, truth be told, it's also what Yoongi means. He feels very ashamed that he was so cruel to Jin. Even though he's tanning his ass himself right now, he has to admit that his only hyung just wants to help him, even if it's in this twisted way.
“I know you're just trying to take care of me,” Yoongi continues, “a-and I really want t-to listen to you, b-but it's s-so hard!”
Tears flow from his eyes again. Yoongi buries his face on the couch again, hoping Jin can understand.
“To sleep?” he asks softly, “are you having trouble with your anxiety?”
Yoongi reluctantly nods.
“Aigoo, Yoongi-ah,” Jin says, stroking his back and finally putting the sandal on the floor. “I told you to come to me if you went through the same thing again, I could have helped you before, you didn't have to let this go that far.”
The rapper just cries on the couch. He has run out of energy; he doesn't even make the effort to get up now that Seokjin has stopped holding him.
“I know it's difficult for you, Yoongi-ah,” continues the older man, “but this is not the right way to deal with it, and you know it. Tell me, are you taking your pills?”
Yoongi doesn't say anything. He fears the spanking will resume if he reveals the truth. However, Jin seems to understand his refusal to respond and, instead of smacking him again, he returns his underwear and pants to his place and continues to caress his back and neck.
“I know you hate them, but you need them,” he scolds lightly. “You shouldn't be ashamed of needing a little extra help to stay healthy. You know that your emotional health is as important as everything else. When you have a headache, you take painkillers, right? It is no different with your anxiety.”
“They make me too sleepy,” he complains a little. He can't help but relax at Jin's gentle caress. Now he feels incredibly tired.
“That's the point, isn't it?” his hyung laughs a little. “I know you think that now you can't even afford to sleep, but you’re no different than us. You also need to rest. Tell me, if it was our maknae who was depriving himself of sleep and was working without rest, you would stop him, right?”
“Jungkook-ah is a boy,” he points out sulkily.
“And you're an adult, huh? So why are you on my knees like a boy?”
He gets up as fast as he can as he fixes his angriest gaze on Seokjin, who now doesn't stop laughing.
“You're literally a pain in the ass!” he growls, wiping his face with his shirt. However, he can't get any madder at his hyung, he knows it's another one of his lousy pranks and that he doesn't really try to embarrass him.
“Come on, Yoongi-ah!” he says, stopping laughing and standing up, “give your hyung a hug.”
“Do you really think I'm going to let you hold me when you just kicked my ass?” He huffs indignantly, but he doesn't make any attempt to get away from the hug that Jin gives him, just as he’ll never accept how relaxing it’s to bury his face in the elder's shoulder, so he only freezes while Seokjin continues to caress his neck. However, he doesn't stop to point out how upset he is about the situation. “You didn't have to do this, hyung. You had no right to-”
“Yeah, yeah, don't argue anymore,” Seokjin shuts him down without stopping stroking him. “You would do the same if one of your dongsaengs behaved like this.”
“That's not-”
“Shhh,” he says again. Yoongi sighs. It's useless reasoning with his hyung. “Come on, I'll walk you to bed.”
Yoongi is about to argue, but Jin stops him with a look. He rolls his eyes as he limps alongside him into the bedroom. He carefully installs himself on his bed, unable to hold back a grimace when his rear touches the surface.
“Where do you have your pills?” Jin-Eomma asks after throwing the blanket over him. “Don't make that face, tell me where they are.”
Yoongi sighs before pointing to the bag hanging in the corner of the cabin. It takes Jin a few seconds to find the container, then goes out for a moment and returns with a glass of water.
“How many should you take?”
“Two,” he says reluctantly. However, now he’s so exhausted that he’d appreciate an urge to sleep peacefully for as long as it takes for the pain in his butt to subside.
After taking the pills, he sees that his hyung is still standing there without saying anything.
“What now,” he growls after a while.
“I'm sorry,” says the older one, “I hate doing this to you, but-”
“Yeah, hyung,” Yoongi sighs, “don't make it any more uncomfortable. Just ... let's turn the page, will you? I'll take care of myself and everything else, okay?”
Yoongi just wants to forget the fact that he behaved like a child in front of the group and various staff members. That and he has just been spanked.
“I'll make sure of that,” Jin smiles. Yoongi tries to roll his eyes, but they feel incredibly heavy. “You should also apologize to others.”
“Yeah, yeah,” he mutters, unable to vocalize well, “just let me sleep, hyung.”
“Do you want to do it now?”
Yoongi snorts at Jin's laugh, but his eyes immediately close.
