“I don’t have time for this.”
Sukuna lets him go, stuffing his free hand in his pocket and rocking back on his heels with an insufferable grin.
“What do you have time for?”
Megumi turns, flicking his eyes over Sukuna’s form. He’s built like a brick wall, stocky and strong, and he doesn’t flinch at Megumi’s gaze. There’s a weird pressure building in his chest, threatening to sprout roots, so Megumi clicks his tongue and says, “Not you.”
“But you have time for…” Sukuna flips the book over, “The Molecular Nature of Matter and Change?”
“That’s what Itadori’s paying me for.”
Sukuna hums, flipping through the book and then shoving it unceremoniously onto a shelf that some poor librarian is going to have to deal with later. “Tutor me.”
